"You know... I've always had a problem with torture. And even worse, you. You just do it for fun, don't ya?"
The crowd slowly parted, surrounding Zashi in a wide and empty circle. He pointed out a woman in the crowd, causing the other citizens to slowly back away from her as well. "You think you have a lot to prove," Zashi murmered. His voice soon became a loud yell. "But you think you're above retribution? Now that is funny!" The Black Widdow quickly backed away and rushed into the crowd, only to have the Boy Out of The Sand pursue her through the crowded streets. Zashi fired a bullet at her calf, only to have it intercepted by a woman. But he didn't have time to deal with the wounded - the medical branch could deal with that in time. "Sayuri! This will be easier for us both if you just let me kill you!"
Sayuri fled into an alleyway as Zashi shoved people away from him trying to catch up with her. After some time running, the two found themselves at a dead end: one of the outermost city walls. Sayuri's skill was stealth and poison - she couldn't take advantage of either, not when she was the prey. Zashi raised his gun to her head. "If it's all the same to you, I'm going to kill you now. Make this easier for me and--"
"Arawe Zashi... have you..." Sayuri looked up at him, eyes full of sadness. "Considered that I don't want to die? The same as you don't?" She slowly walked towards him, lifting her hands above her head. "You don't have to kill people. I know you, you're Arawe. You've killed a lot of people... and you're only fourteen, aren't you?" Zashi shot near her foot and quickly reloaded. "Take one more step and I'll kill you!"
"What made you like this...?" Zashi laughed, shaking his head. "You're the serial killer, not me. So how about you answer my question: What made you become someone that deserves to die?"
Her eyes filled with tears. Whether fake or real, they were evident. She responded with an answer that haunted Zashi, but only for a moment before his bullet penetrated her head and he had to carry her to the mission drop-off center.
"I just want to be free."
"Well," quipped Zashi, "maybe you want to die free too!"
