When he stepped out of time, he expected the usual clock spinning to keep genjustu from being used, the people around him being a bit slower, things of that nature. But what he didn't expect was that when he stepped out of time that he stepped out of time into another world! Maru gasped in awe at the sight, they were on some floating structure with a breathtaking view of a golden desert with blue sand that seemed falling from the high structures like a waterfall.. Maru watched as some serpentine creature just float by him, not paying him any mind while he watched it float on by. “Where. The. Heeeeeeeell–?” Before he could utter the last word, he heard Akazukin tell him that this was the sands of time within the desert of eternity. Some place that clearly existed outside of time itself, he stepped out of time quite often but he hasn't actually seen a place like this when he hopped out of time. Maybe different wormholes and strands of possibility in which he could hop into but nothing on some weird dimension.
After a couple seconds in the natural world they were back in normal space-time, he touched his face and chest to make sure he was in one piece before addressing Akazukin. “Out of all the times when I used that technique I haven't seen anything like that. And believe me I step in and out of time a lot.” If it was true that Akazukin was her realm than she must be a goddess, how else would she be able to hijack his temporal step to show him her realm he wondered. Regardless, she at least told him her name… or at least the name she wanted him to know which he was still grateful for that. “Real name only for your husband eh?” He rubbed his chin thinking on that for a bit, then clapped his hands together. “Well beautiful, you might as well tell me because I can see me in your future.” he said giving the giving her a cheesy smile, clearly trying to hit on her now fully confident that he had potential to become her husband. Now that he thought about..."Since I'm pretty much about traveling to the past to fix some... Mistakes I would have made. And from what you told me you're pretty much about traveling to the future, I think that makes a beatiful combination. Eh? EHHHHH??"
