While Umashi wasn't one of those overly concerned with his health sort of people, he at least tried to eat decently. In this particular moment what he found before him was a tasty salad with local farmed chicken on it. Fresh tomatoes, green spinach and the best kind of dressing that the region could muster and he was ready to chow down. It was just when he was starting to chomp excessively that he remembered that he had a lot of files to go over before it came time for the big mission that they were planning for to take the fight to the Daimyo. Pulling out the files that he would need to look over, he mused over the various persons that he could possibly choose for the type of mission that he’d need for them to do. He’d need someone who could quickly get in and out with minimal damage to the environment. He’d also need someone who could be stealthy while doing so. Unfortunately, many people in the current day and age figured that everything was swell if you didn’t manage to bring down the house. That was just the sort of problem that he didn’t want to have to deal with. There were the typical mercenary types that he could choose but what Umashi needed in this particular moment was someone that he could trust to stick to the objective and that was just putting it plainly. Being a showboat definitely wasn’t going to win any sort of prize with him for this.

Taking another bite of leafy green goodness, Umashi flipped through another file as he considered just exactly what he needed done. While the main force would be heading up against the whatever forces the Daimyo might put before them, what he needed from this small “Beta” party was for someone to get in and figure out what the Daimyo was doing in his camp at the base of the great tree. It was simple enough really, but with all that he’d heard about the tree, anything could be possible. The Daimyo had managed to use the behemoth to control the citizens of the Fire Country by means of a wide spread genjutsu dream and if he could have done that once, Umashi didn’t need him doing it a second or third time. What Umashi also needed was a sample of the tree if at all possible so that their greatest minds could inspect its chakra enhanced properties. There was a saying that you had to fight fire with fire but Umashi was trying to trying to do more than even that, he was trying to destroy the fire at its very source. Finding his eyes only able to focus on the final candidate that he find that he knew could meet all of his prerequisite’s, Umashi nodded to himself and finished his salad. He’d send an envoy in due time. When in doubt it was best to throw a doujutsu at the problem. When especially in doubt, two doujutsu were always better than one.
