Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Hi, I request approval for this weapon. Yen is on hand for augment purchase (if I'm doing it right). Thanks in advance!

An unique bloodline-seal is marked on the hands of a Xiangtian, allowing them to freely utilize Sundering the Heavens Art's chakra to turn the hand into a powerful weapon. Thus, a golden white chakra glows on the hands, giving it a heavenly feel. This signature chakra of the Xiangtian possesses great destructive capabilities.

Weapon Type: Unarmed
Accuracy: -2
Damage: +10%
Effect: May use handseals while equipped.
Augments: Steady, Vampiric, Vanguard.

Healing Factor said:
Having spent the majority of his childhood focused on training and pushing past his limits, Xiao's vitality is unique. Though not supreme or infallible, his body, due to the bizarre chakra he wields, developed slight regenerative capabilities. As long the damage is not too severe, he can slowly heal himself during combat. Such a thing can make a huge difference in the few seconds of battle.

Utilizing his clan's unique chakra properties, Xiao learned to use his chakra to boost the strength of his recuperation rate, but this is only viable as long he absorb and equalize the stray chakra leaked from fighting.
Quick Reaction said:
Speed is king. This is a concept every Xiangtian is made aware of once signs of their mysterious chakra emerges. Going beyond one's limit is something Xiao invested in heavily. By doing so, he is able to perform things thought humanely impossible. However there are some far more talented than others. Among Xiao's natural talent are incredible reflexes. Such an innate reaction speed has guarded his life far more than once.

Having reached past the human limit of speed, Xiao is able to move and react with inhumanely impossible speed. With his warping skills, he can overwhelm a foe with nothing but pure speed.
Clumsiness said:
Xiao is no klutz, but his luck in avoiding disaster seems quite incredible. There have been several times where he may have tripped and evaded a devastating attack. Xiao became used to this by constantly adapting to accommodate for any unexpected trips or poor coordination. Eventually it became part of his combat routine and he finds it quite effective in surprising the enemy. Haha, the look of stupedification when they realize their surefire attack actually failed to do what it intended.

Of course, he has also used this 'poor coordination' to his advantage by fall into a woman's bosom. He would sweet-talk his way out of it by wooing her and disappearing the next day.
Sixth Sense said:
As a practitioner of the Sundering the Heavens art, he always has his unique chakra active at all times. By spreading it in small ripples occasionally, anyone who enter the range of it will find Xiao will react to threats with great inhuman speed. Even so, he could only feel strange shadows and by the time he realized the danger they posed, Xiao could not warp away! His bizarre chakra was swept away as thought never there, preventing him from doing so. Inwardly he was sort of glad he was 'frozen' before vanishing away, otherwise he would have been stuck mid-warp, simply imagining the uncomfortably of such a situation.
Bull's Strength said:
Young Xiao began his harsh training. He was pushed to his limits over and over again, repeatedly told that he can never be a master of the Sundering the Heavens Art if he cannot see beyond the limit of human understanding. He was given a sword and told to never be apart from it, even sleeping, eating and showering with it if necessary. He had to start with 100 swings then increase the number by 100 everyday after the first set. Not only that he must always finish before noon. Starting every day from around seven in the morning to noon, Xiao rigorously trained.

This did not just increase his understanding of a weapon but also enhanced his physical capabilities. The blows he can inflict upon an enemy will not be easily forgotten.
Duelist said:
He decided to flank ahead and wait for opportunities to strike against enemies who were distracted with avoiding attacks and the like. If the enemy wanted to somehow break through the line, haha, they can keep on dreaming. With a good sweep of his inhuman speed and Zantetsuken technique, a tango may find themselves headless before hitting the ground and long after Xiao selected his second or third prey.

However, though Xiao killed whatever foe that caught his attention, when the Hokage's orders came down, he quickly warp behind an enemy and slammed his elbow to the back of the head. The unfortunate soul was knocked out, or at least distracted enough to be subdued non-lethally. Xiao then began tripping, pushing and placing enemy puppeteers in position that allowed them to be captured. However only four were successfully captured without being killed.

This is a prime example of Xiao's one on one dueling capabilities.
Hidden Power said:
Going beyond the limit of human understanding is Xiao's entire being. From youth, he rigorously trained until he reached his peak, but even then he wanted to go beyond what one would call their 'peak'! He wanted to go out and become a mercenary as most of his clan members are.

Wanting to see more of the world, Xiao had to convince the clan elders he can survive outside of it. Members who had done so became mercenaries who eventually brought their wages to the clan. That is one of the ways the clan made its living. His request was approved.

Excited about the prospects about going out in the world, he experienced wonderful things but also near-death ones. Whenever he was close to death, he would summoned forth a burst of power that allowed him to slay his enemies and emerge victorious. After a while he began to realize the closer he was the death the stronger this burst of power. Though he did not understand it completely, he credited it to a primordial bloodline residing in him. His ancestor, Xiangtian, no doubt experienced similar burst of power as well.
Technical Pacifist said:
Though Xiao can be a ferocious tiger at times, he prefers to avoid combat if possible, or at least render his opponent defenseless, unable to deliver heavy damage. As such, Xiao came up with a set of movements he could incorporate into his clan's fighting style that allowed him to utilize his lighting-speed reaction to counterattack. The target of such a counterattack is the opponent's weapon. After all if one lose their weapon suddenly, they are unable to carry out their intended attack, throwing them off.

Not only will this throw Xiao's enemies off, it also gives him an opportunity to completely dominate them if done right.
Thick Blood said:
As a former mercenary, Xiao naturally got caught in a few life and death battles. One thing he noted to be dangerous is bleeding, after encountering several bleeding specialists. If one is unable to control it, the bleeding may lead to death. As a warrior, Xiao wanted to have a way to regulate this or at least increase his clotting capabilities.

Though it took a while, he came up with a feasible method. This method is using his otherworldly chakra and direct it to hasten clotting and strengthen his skin. What this does is lessen the risk of bleeding too heavily and quickly. To make it more passive, he absorbs a small portion of chakra into his skin daily.
Defensive Technique said:
With his ability of being everywhere he wanted in the battlefield, Xiao learned to utilize his clan's fighting style into an unique defensive technique. Aware that he is no powerhouse, he is able to defend far more efficiently by using his speed, can reduce damage and best of all tire out his opponents.

When able to he will confront an enemy head on but the flexibility of his defensive technique also allows him to change that tactic in an instant. He is even able to move so fast it appears as thought there are clones that randomly appear and disappear. This naturally gives Xiao the image of being omnipresent.

Though shinobi 101 doesn't take a slot, I believe it still requires an rp. 1-11 is approved.
Also why is there a 12?

Hi,

In the ability training information section in Dojo it said branch abilities and Shinobi 101 does not require a RP but if this is just outdated info, I will update asap. As for the 12 slots, the 12th is a carry over from my previous character who had +1 Ability Slot from the ASP shop. It is approved in my OCR here. I am leaving it blank for now.

Let me know asap about the branch ability RP.
