Ahem. Akira said, somewhat clearing his throat, the sound going through the speaker system of the Aesculapium. They would recognise it by now. He'd been filling in as Medical Sennin for a while, and had to make several calls over the service, so this would likely be treated somewhat similar to those, listened to but not stopped for.
I thought I would let you, the medical branch, know who your new Sennin is before anyone else. This might have a few more ears prick up.
After interviewing the top three candidates I have decided to appoint Shinrya Kahako as the new Sennin. The two who missed out will continue on in their roles within the medical branch and support her with their knowledge and experience. Kumogakure is blessed to have so many strong applicants for such a position and I'm confident that all will work together for the greater benefit of the village.
That is all.
And with that the new Sennin had been appointed. Kahako would have found out a little time earlier and have had time to mentally prepare herself, however the new title wasn't official until after the announcement had been made. There was a lot of paperwork to catch up on as Akira hadn't been able to keep up with it as well as maintain his Raikage duties, but he'd done the best he could in the circumstances. Still, it would be interesting to see how the medical branch would prosper under its new leadership.
