Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Off to the west side of the hospital a bell rang from the speakers adorning the top of a tall building. It was the first warning que, meaning that those with the intent to learn and study the human body in detail only had another fifteen minutes to get to their class. All across the stone grounds leading up to a set of large double doors medical students in a rainbow of ages began to either scramble or calmly stride across the stones; depending on what year they were in. Usually it was the cocky first years that took their sweet time heading to the first class and no doubt that today would be like any other. There would be a handful of late students with poor excuses as they sundered up the small set of stairs to the doors. On this particular day of the new semester, however, was a terrible one to be late to class.

A seven foot tall giant of a man strode down the school halls like a devil was at his heels and his face registered high annoyance. His blonde hair was pulled back up into a bun, at least as much as he could get into it, and the three pens sticking out of it spelled ‘rushed and annoyed’. When Dr. Tama signed up to teach originally he had it in the mind to pass on his personal knowledge to a select group; preferably hand picked. Instead he was heading a class of a bunch of First Years who either had their head up their ass, was coerced into the field by family status, or had no idea what they were in for. To get anything like he wanted the scientist was now self-tasked with weeding out everyone he didn’t deem worthy of his knowledge or time.

The man stopped suddenly in his stride, turned to a seemingly random class door, and planted his large boot in the center to kick it right off the hinges. It shot across the class room to crash into a pile of glass and splinters to completely silence any of the talkative early birds. With an unsettling calm Tama stepped over the door’s threshold with his intent on the desk that headed the center of the class. Tapping his boot against the chair he rolled it back enough to flop down with an exasperated sigh. The scientist leaned deep back into his seat as his mis-matched eyes sharply scanned the room of students before him. His left hand pulled out a drawer of the desk to pull out a folder full of information about all the students he was here to lecture.
At first glance not a single person there caught his attention. No one seemed to give off any special blood lust or fear from his entrance, just stunned indifference so far. His eyes skipped away from the faces to the papers in the folder and quickly flipped through them. No extraordinary high scores, no special intents beyond a practitioner's license…it all felt so dull.

The bell rang loudly again setting off the doctor’s ire a little as he made a face upwards towards the speaker nestled in the corner of the room. With a quick glance to and from his papers to the class he had surmised that he was missing about three to four students. From there he began to count the seconds and after about thirty the first one came in. This one he let slide. However the two that came in after three minutes came face to face with a furious Ancient Hybrid who took his job far too seriously.

Time?” Tama questioned them.
“Um…7:03?” one of the two replied. It didn’t take the scientist even two seconds to realize they were friends and no doubt were also the reason for each other’s tardiness.
Both of you will receive negative marks today for class. Next time show up at the specified time or double negative marks will be given. The lesson today will be chapters 1-12. I suggest you use this suddenly large amount of free time to go and study before you collect anymore of my ire before the semester starts.

Raising his hand up the doctor gripped the very air itself and slammed a fresh door made from an opaque barrier of chakra. Despite the substance the chakra made a solid connection with the wooden frame causing a loud bang to shut out the two males and the remaining late student. This show of cruelty was just but the first steps to weeding out the class. Already he could see some of those indifferent expressions turning towards familiar anger and outright fear. He could taste it. It drew a little smirk from the corner of his mouth as he flopped back into his chair, kicked his boots up on the desk, and spoke to his new class,
I’m going to be straight with you right now. I am not like your other, ‘kinder’, teachers. My entire goal of signing onto this program was to pass on my personal knowledge. However instead of being allowed to select who I want, I have to cut out my own diamonds. Welcome to hell kiddies. This is your first and only chance to get out with your GPA intact,“ his fingers on the right hand snapped and a small hole opened up in the door that would require some crawling to get through; as if the shame of being intimidated wasn’t enough. His sharp eyes watched close.

Jiro made his way from the mission tent to the hospital. He barged into the building and looked around. A bell had rung and he let out a slew of curses. He was not going to make it. Hell, he had not even had time to change out of the clothes he had been in to fight Dagger. The fight had gone on longer than he had expected, but he had finished. He had not counted on it making him late for class.

"Where's the med-nin training led by...." He looked at his schedule. "Dr. Tama?" Jiro asked the lady at the front desk.

"West wing. Last door on the right." The woman gave him a quick look-over before adding, "Are you hurt? You're bleeding! Do you need a doctor?" Her voice was laced with concern at the blood that covered the male.

Another swear escaped Jiro's lips as he ran towards the west wing without answering the woman. As he got there, he heard the slam of chakra door meeting broken wooden door. But there was soon a hole in it, just big enough to crawl through. He looked at the two others standing there and he smirked a bit. "Gonna let this stop you?" he asked.

The other two students stared at him in wide-eyed horror. The Akkumaist rolled his eyes as he watched them carefully. Did they really think it was all his blood? Or maybe they knew it was not and that was why they were so terrified. But now was not the time to argue about things, he was late! He moved down, crawling through the hole. It was a tight squeeze and, besides his ass getting stuck towards the end, he managed it almost perfectly except for the landing. He tumbled out of the chakra door and landed practically in front of the tall, annoyed male.

He rolled up onto his feet, blonde hair stained pink with blood. Well, he was covered head to toe with dry blood so really, there was a perfectly good explanation for his lateness. He handed the teacher his completed bingo book entry and then spoke. "The mission went on longer than I thought. The bitch tried to sacrifice me!" he exclaimed, showing the male the scars on him that were slowly healing before their eyes due to his bloodline and because of the higher power that he served.

He stood up fully then and ran a hand through his matted hair. Jiro could not believe that he was late, but he had a valid excuse. Attempted sacrifice at the hands of a deranged Jashinist should be enough to get him off the scientist's shit-list, or at least he hoped it would. He sat down then, front row, and met the instructor's mismatched eyes with his own. "Are we doing bookwork or hands-on instruction?" he asked.

The rest of the class watched the Chigokai and then turned to the instructor, waiting to see what would happen. Jiro, however, remained unfazed. The blonde seemed a bit off and probably odd, but the instructor did not scare him yet. He had dealt with worse from Akkuma. But now he was curious. Was he going to get kicked out? Written up? He was not sure but he waited to see what the instructor would do, as did the rest of the class.

His announcement stunned the students into absolute silence as he had expected but only a single female student who had starting going pale when the door flew off its hinges stood up. Before she could crouch down and start to crawl through the door, however, an unexpected bloody mess shoved its hand through. After a couple of seconds Tama and the lone female watched as the crimson covered Jiro wriggled his way through. Without missing a beat the psycho strolled over to the doctor’s desk and slapped a moist piece of paper on the cheap plywood. Instantly, though he forced himself to not show it on any level but mental, the scientist was curious.
Though he masked a looked of ire when he kicked his feet off, Tama was truly curious as to what was written on the page. His eyes scanned what little could still be read of the letters and allowed the corner of his lips to rise into a smirk.

Okay, you’re excused…from a mark. However I want you to remember I do not accept tardiness and hate people who arrive too early even more…” his eyes slowly drifted from the paper to meet with Jiro’s as his voice dropped a little, “If you want to earn my knowledge, that is…

His hand nearest to the killer made a little shooing motion to have him find a seat. The scientist then turned to the chalk board behind them, picked up his text book, and the chalk. He began to write down the chapters and pages in columns until he had made twelve of them stretching from left to right on the board.
These are the chapters that are going to be in review at the end of the semester. In order to move on to the next year of study in the medical profession here in Sunagakure you will be tested on two fronts during your first, second, and third years. The first is a written exam to test your ability to recall important information on the fly. It will be one-hundred questions, you will have twenty minutes to complete it, and all answers must be in the form of either a hypothetical technique or a proven one; bonus points will be rewarded for correct answers of the aforementioned. This,” Tama stabbed at the board with his piece of white chalk, “Is everything that will be on that test. Learning everything from your books is not necessary to past the written. This crap”, he stabbed a few more times, “is.

He could already hear the multitude behind him scrambling to write down everything he had written. After about sixty seconds he grabbed the board eraser and began to slowly wipe everything off from chapter 1 to 12. After he had finished the doctor grabbed the chalk and began to quickly draw an incredibly detailed chakra coil complete with the muscles that intertwined with the vascular system it was wrapped around. After about three minutes the doctor was finished and he placed the chalk down. The girl who had elected to leave was very nearly out when the scientist slid his thumb down his index finger causing the opaque chakra to suddenly come crushing down. Sensing the danger she just barley managed to get her foot out as the chakra ripped off a shoe and tore it into shreds of cloth that floated in the chakra. The doctor chuckled a little as he then casually strolled over to the window and placed his hand against it to coat the entire glass structure in a thin film of chakra that would make the surface more reflective. Writing a little seal on the corner of the window to hold the chakra in place the scientist smiled to himself as he sang in a creepily playful tune,

Who, would like, to volunteer~?” After a moment of no one answering his smile only grew larger.

Casually the scientist walked down the aisle of desks until he stopped at a young male who had gone rather pale for his natural dark complex. Tama’s gigantic smooth hands gently cupped the young male’s face and looked into his eyes as the boy began to sweat,
Ah…no…you won’t do…” He released the male and carefully walked around a woman in her late thirties and repeated this act. He did this about four times denying each student until the scientist finally came across a woman in her early twenties who, he surmised by scent alone, was menstruating. Instantly he felt the steely claws of his phobia picking at his heart but quickly formed his hands to use a genjutsu on himself to remove that problem temporarily. His hand then touched her shoulder once and then tapped under her arm causing her to rise on command with an incredibly concerned look.

Aye, you will do.

Slowly the scientist began to lead her back towards the front of the classroom and stood her before the class. Touching his hands to her own he spread her arms away into a T-pose before lifting her shirt just shy of her breasts and tugging down her pants until her full mid-riff was exposed. Try as she did to complain her mouth would not move despite her eyes screaming ‘please help’. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a sharpie and began to draw lines in perfect replication of the chakra coil on her exposed flesh. In all seriousness he turned to the class and began to teach, now, in lecture with a live specimen as he was best at doing.

Ever still his sharp eyes watched the students and their reactions.

As Jiro crawled through the door, he practically smashed head-first into the female who was about to take her leave. He smirked at her and gave her a quick nod before casually walking over to the scientist's desk and placing the bingo book entry on the wood. His red eyes met the older male's, trying to figure out his emotions, but, like Akkuma, the man gave him nothing. Until a look of pure rage crossed over the elder's face, making Jiro flinch slightly almost like a kicked dog. But then he let out a loud sigh of relief when the professor smiled and said that he was excused from a mark.

"Thank you, Doctor-Professor...." Jiro spun around and then found a seat right up front, directly in front of Tama so he could focus. He watched the male curiously. There was something unique about the male that intrigued him. He did want to know his personal knowledge, so he would make sure to focus, even though he hated sitting in class. It bored him. He was a doer, not a listener or a notetaker. But he would try.

Jiro looked at the chalkboard and at everything that was written on it. Chapters and pages written across the whole board and then an explanation. He copied the diagram into his own notebook. He would have to study, but he knew a couple ways that would make studying more interesting, but he was sure that who he had in mind would not be so willing or amused by his attempts at trying hands-on practice based on the chapters. The written test seemed quite simple and it was only a few chapters of the book, not the whole thing. That made it easier.

Just as the Chigokai finished writing down the final word, the scientist was erasing everything and drawing something else. It looked like a coil attached to muscles and other parts of the inner anatomy of a person. Jiro looked curiously from that to the chakra door slamming down on the girl with such force that her shoe was ripped off and destroyed. He let out a low laugh of excitement at the scene. The other students watched with wide-eyed terror, wondering what kind of maniac the hospital was allowing access to such delicate medical techniques. The blood-drenched blonde, however, had his eyes widened with another strong emotion -- excitement.

The chakra blocking the window and the seal made the Chigokai tilt his head slightly, but he also perked up. Class was getting much more interesting than he thought it would. He had assumed it would be notes and various other boring tactics like lectures. This, however, seemed much more intriguing. Jiro could feel himself leaning against his desk for a closer look once the scientist asked for a volunteer. He raised his hand but the man ignored him, which was probably for the better once he realized what was going to happen.

Tama walked through the room. Jiro's red eyes focused on him the whole time, never leaving the older, taller male. He watched his every move as if he looked over each person attending the class. It went on for a few excruciatingly slow minutes until it seemed the professor had selected a very unwilling volunteer. It seemed to be a woman who looked to be around maybe around Jiro's age. He watched the woman rise and follow Tama relunctantly.

Jiro could feel his heartbeat racing as he watched the professor lift the woman's shirt. He shifted slightly, adjusting somewhat, as he watched the chakra coils being drawn onto her bare flesh. Nothing was exposed, but he had seen Akkuma do similiar things with his brands and seals and marks. And seeing this brought on the same reaction as watching Akkuma doing heinous acts. His body involuntarily shivered in anticipation and pleasure.

The woman looked at Jiro, meeting his eyes. Her own were a silent plea for help. "Relax," Jiro whispered. "Fighting it'll only make it worse..." The rest of the class, however, seemed paralyzed in fear and terror of what this man was going to do to this poor, innocent student.

The female in the front of the classroom looked like she wanted to scream at Jiro’s response but amazingly remained tight-lipped; be it herself or through jutsu it wasn’t sure. Yet the mad scientist standing beside her had the most unremarkable look of nonchalant one could imagine. It was as if not only had he done this before, on an actual person, but apparently with an audience as well.

Or, he was just that nuts.

His finger poked the center of her exposed abdomen where the spiral of the chakra coil started. A gentle light started to glow from between his fingertip and her coil. A soft blue glow began to shine around the markings he had left on her flesh with the pen and a bead of sweat broke out on her forehead. Removing his finger Tama shook it as if the tip was unbearably hot and even stuck it in his mouth, causing a light sizzling sounds with a puff of smoke leaking out one corner of his lips. Removing the finger with another shake he turned back to the class,

The chakra coil was recently thought to be one entire thing. Leylines of power that happened to encase our circulatory systems. For countless generations since the discovery of Chakra, The Coil, and the Fighting Spirit - shinobi have trained under two beliefs. The first is that everyone and everything has either a Chakra Coil or the potential to have one. The second is that once this Coil has been damaged to a certain point there is no repairing it, thus, ending a warrior’s career,” Tama walked behind the exposed student and began to scratch on the chalk board again, and this time he was drawing the same chakra coil but in separate parts with tid-bits of info like where to start injecting healing chakra.
My entire career has been dedicated to the mysteries that medical science just seemed to give up on and the biggest of them is the Coil. During my lifetime research I discovered two special things about our bodies involving chakra. The first is that not everyone has the Coil or even the potential to generate chakra. You’ll notice that the entirety of Sunagakure has just as many normal people as it does military, probably more. I don’t know, I’m not head of that department.
Regardless you’ll know that not everyone who lives here works for our military or has the power to conjure fire or wind at a moment’s notice like most of us. Which is why a lot of you here are to become doctors,” Tama gently put down his chalk and began to walk back to the student with a terrifying speed,
Which is why a lot of you are wrong.

His giant hand suddenly slapped against the female student’s painfully glowing abdomen and curled his hand into a fist to grab, what appeared at first, her flesh in a most painful and twisting manner. The hand suddenly jerked forward and in that motion he ripped out the woman’s chakra coil. Blood sprayed the front row that the scientist casually side stepped as wounds appeared all over her body and face. The “volunteer” could only stand there shocked before dropping to the ground with ragged breaths as the scientist walked over to his desk and with the spare hand drew out a special scroll he unrolled on the metal surface. Carefully he laid down the girl’s silhouette image via chakra coil on the scroll and a black energy greedily inked it down onto the paper. By the time he had started to move back to the profusely bleeding student three more of Jiro’s classmates were already banging on the chakra door begging to be let out.

The scientist’s hand raised up without looking at it and the door opened up again in the same manner it had for the first girl. Three boys scrambled over each other to crawl out leaving only Jiro and two more pale faced males in his class. This was working better than he had originally thought; this current generation were a bunch of cowards.Though Tama couldn’t help but noticed the fellow blonde in the front who just seemed utterly fascinated by his teacher’s actions.
Well then, time to test now the abilities of who remained. To be an apprentice for the mad scientist Ryuu Tama, the man required two things; a strong stomach/will, and actual talent. He wasn’t about to mentor some scrub who couldn’t even manage to heal a simple wound.
He demanded someone with the potential to heal this kind of wound.
Crouching down the giant scooped up the girl who’s eyes were all but dead as he carried her bleeding near-corpse to lay down on top of the scroll-work containing her chakra coil. Almost instantly her vitals jumped back up to near consciousness and her bleeding slowed a tiny bit. Placing a hand on her head the “good” doctor used an anesthetic genjutsu that blocked off her pain receptors but continued to keep her in a conscious state of mind.

The first lesson I’m going to teach you today is how to heal a major wound on a civilian. Unlike other shinobi who have stores of chakra and life energy, using a healing jutsu on a normal person with a wound as mortal as the one I have inflicted upon your fellow student can be just as life threatening. When you heal with Mystical Hand you’re actually tricking a person’s body into healing faster. If they don’t have the life force or chakra to amend to that, then they will simply just die faster and make a pretty corpse. As such you must learn to infuse your own life force to heal,” the scientist tucked his hands behind his back and stepped back towards the window to watch for something.

Begin,” he said his eyes shifting back between the class and outside every now and again.
