Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A faint plume of steam rose through the crispy mountain air, a breeze quickly carried it away and dissipated it. A pair of red eyes stared at the gates, flashes of the past dashing in and out of his mind. How long had it been since he last saw these gates, years? Looking up at the sky Kaen could only make out a few stars in between the large fluffy clouds that loomed overhead. It smelled like rain was coming, this was perfect. From what he could tell it was no different than the last time he came through, only a few guards visible. Perhaps there were more lurking out of sight, but Kaen made a deal with the devil, so to speak, and thus he needed to deliver this letter to the Raikage. It was strictly business this time however, Kaen had no intentions of wreaking any havoc this time around, he had not the time nor the patience for such an endeavor. Hell, he wouldn't even kill any of these gate-men this time.

With a single hand Kaen would activate a simple anbu jutsu and then a clone jutsu. [Used Active Camo Mastered and Specter Shade Mastered] "You know what to do..." Kaen spoke to his clone who only nodded in response. Not a moment later he would pull over a shoddy looking shawl and begin to walk towards the gates. Meanwhile the real Kaen would channel the boon gifted to him by Mother Suna herself, and he vanished from the world. [Activated Cursed seal - Auto stealth option] "Please... Help me!" Kaen's clone would cry out to the guards on the gate. "Halt, don't move!" One would call down the the Kaen clone, the other would hop down from his perch and cautiously approach the clone. "It's very late, why are you traveling at such a time?" The second guard questioned the clone, the other guard began his descent. Kaen would move now, scaling up the mountain side with ease, his active camo working to its fullest in tandem with his other powers, it appeared he was scott free.

It's inside me! Help, please help get it out!!!" The Kaen clone would desperately cling to his head, eyes rolling back in his head, falling to his knees. "What? What is it? Are you hurt, how can I help you? Still Kaen's clone put on the show, now falling completely to the ground, writhing about. HUAH, AAH OH NO, NO NO NO NO. I can't take it anymore, I have to make it... Ugh... I feel, I don't feel so good." [Used Special action on specter shade to disperse] The body of clone slowly dissolved into nothing but wisps of shadow and ash, leaving only a shoddy looking shawl on the ground. "What the fuck just happened?!"

[OOC - MFT - Force Entering - Run Time 60 Minutes]

Standing at the gate, Maikeru looked down with his Sharingan scanning over the scene. It was boring this time of night, especially in the middle of the week. It wasn't like caravans traveled through the dangerous mountains at this hour, so usually, this was a shift to catch up on one's reading. Apparently not tonight, though. A small, almost impish smile came onto the face of the young god slayer as he saw the commotion happening below. He had hung out with the boys in leaf back enough to know a fake out when he saw it.

His eyes scanned from left to right, looking for anything that might be off, and that was when he saw it. It was nothing more than a slight shimmer, even to the enhanced perception of his Sharingan, but it was enough to set him off. Leaping from the gate, his Rinnegan burned to life as he manipulated the gravity around him, allowing him to glide a small distance from where he saw the shadow. Ripping red queen from his back, he jammed the blade into the ground before 'revving' the handle of it, causing the blade to glow with a bright red light.

"So, what exactly do you think you're doing at the gates this late?" Maikeru would ask, his red and purple eye glowing in the dim light surrounding them, the flames from his blade casting shadows across the serious look on his face. "I appreciate a good prank as much as the next guy, but I think you can understand if I have to take some caution, don't ya?"

[Catch]

A presence, it was approaching fast. Kaen braced himself expecting a full on assault. A young man slammed a mysterious looking blade into the ground before twisting the handle causing it to roar to life, hues of red shimmering in the night air. "So, what exactly do you think you're doing at the gates this late?" His eyes were the first thing Kaen would notice, they were... interesting to say the least. One was unmistakably that of the Uchiha, but this other one he had no idea. The ripples were quite mesmerizing in the shadows that danced about. "I appreciate a good prank as much as the next guy, but I think you can understand if I have to take some caution, don't ya?"

Kaen would release both his anbu jutsu and his cursed seal with a sigh. "Ya know, I gotta hand it to you Cloud folk. You've really stepped up the security around here." Kaen would lean up against the cliff wall behind him, taking a non-aggressive stance. He knew where he was and just how far away from home he was, he wasn't quite as stupid as he used to be all those years ago. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a prank though, I did have actual business inside your lovely village." Kaen would whip out the letter given to him by Akkuma, flashing it for the Cloud nin to see that he was no liar. "I'm to deliver this to the Raikage, a message from a friend in Wind Country. I don't suppose he's around, is he?" Kaen prodded lightly, certainly the Raikage was not simply on reserve to be summoned at a whims notice, but you never know.

A small smirk crept onto Maikeru's face at the man's words, and even more so as his Sharingan noticed the strange chakra being pumped into the chakra system. So, he had a cursed seal too did he? How fascinating, it appeared power-ups were the same no matter which village you came from. Straightening his stance and leaning onto Red Queen more than gripping it he decided to at the least humor the man. Perhaps he really did have something important to say, he wouldn't know if he just proceeded to the fighting, as much as he wanted to.

"Alright, I'll play along." He said finally, removing his hand from the handle of his blade, releasing his own cursed mark as he did. "But, we don't need to keep measuring our cocks to talk do we? I can keep up this releasing of marks all day, even got a nice new form I wanted to try out."

It was then that the man mentioned the Raikage, and Maikeru's mood soured a bit.

"Lord Raikage is around, I'm sure, but you won't be speaking to him. At least, not before we have a little talk. Firstly, the contents of the letter." Another pause, followed by a short sigh preceded the next part of his speech. "To be honest, it's late, I've had a long day, and I am just about to clock out. I don't want to fight you or make this a bigger deal than it has to be. I can deliver the letter for you if you wish, but I'm not calling the Raikage to the gate at this hour."

Finally, for one last semblance of dick measuring, the Rinnegan in his left eye glowed a bright purple, before surrounding his body in a chakra cloak of the same hue. From the stump of his right arm shot out skeletal bones that tightened and gripped into a tight fist.

"Your call though kemosabe."

"Alright, I'll play along." In this moment the young Cloud nin would demonstrate an interesting show of force. A power similar to his own, gifted to him by Mother Suna herself, flowed out and covered the man before him in a cloak like aura of malevolent energy. "But, we don't need to keep measuring our cocks to talk do we? I can keep up this releasing of marks all day, even got a nice new form I wanted to try out." Kaen smiled, he kinda liked this guy. Blunt, brash and to the point, not afraid to show what he's made of. Kaen respected that.

"Lord Raikage is around, I'm sure, but you won't be speaking to him. At least, not before we have a little talk. Firstly, the contents of the letter. To be honest, it's late, I've had a long day, and I am just about to clock out. I don't want to fight you or make this a bigger deal than it has to be. I can deliver the letter for you if you wish, but I'm not calling the Raikage to the gate at this hour." Kaen would pocket the letter back inside his pouch, safe from view of this sharingan user. It was nothing of national security, probably. Kaen had not read it himself, it remained sealed with the Miroku emblem. And then in one last attempt at scaring Kaen off, the man's other eye started glowing and an ominous chakra began to flow out, on top of the man's previous energy, and a skeletal-like hand clenched into a fist. "Your call though kemosabe."

"Yes, yes of course. It is pretty late, I imagine Lord Raikage is quite preoccupied at this hour." Kaen would make eye contact with the man before him, those calculating eyes scanning over Kaen's body. He felt power in this man, great power. Had it been another time, another place, perhaps Kaen would step up to the challenge. But he had other matters to attend to, perhaps he would visit the mountains, see the sights, meet an old acquaintance... "I am sorry, however, I was given specific instruction to hand it to the Raikage alone, no disrespect. We all have our orders. Well... I suppose I should head off, perhaps I will return during the appropriate hours next time." Kaen would turn to leave the area. "If there is nothing else, I bid you farewell friend." And with that Kaen would begin to head the other direction.
