Message to Sand [From Leaf]

As a hawk traverses slowly upon the horizon it slowly comes closer into view. Landing softly upon a perch, a message on it's leg.

Letter= TO SUNAGAKURE NO SONO

Konohagakure and Sunagakure have had a difficult relationship in times passed, words have been exchanged. Actions and decisions have been taken which us, as Konoha, have acknowledged and respected. Although communication has been slim we have respected your own sovereignty and simply tried to live a peaceful live in the cruel world of the Shinobi. We expected for any discourse to come into discussion, we expected any insult to be brought up.

We did not expect this.

Recently Konoha has been victim of unprovoked, unsanctioned attacks by an individual dressed in the kin of a Sunagakure shinobi with it's respective headband. Unacceptable doesn't come close to what those actions merit. Although we would like to believe Sunagakure did not have any notion of this, the evidence suggests it was a premeditated attack on foreign ground without provocation or causation with a particular goal in mind.

As of this moment. Any and all agreement between the two villages has been suspended upon completion of an investigation by Konohagakure to fully understand the events and uncover the truth of the matter.

A delegation of Konoha shinobi is being sent to Sunagakure to interview and conduct an investigation to find out the truth. It is expected they will be let through and have independence enough to conduct their work upon this matter. Cooperation is expected to divulge the proper information concerning this matter and to avoid misunderstanding in this precarious situation.

[Uziuke]

He was ready to get back to the construction of the Airship. But gate duty was gate duty. There were rumors of people passing through every now and again, but rumors were only rumors. What happened while he wasn't on post usually didn't reach his ears, unless it was something major of course. Speaking of something major, today would be a day that the boy would never forget. He would be placed between a rock and a hard place.

Looking to the bird's leg, Uzi noticed a letter.

'Konoha hmm?' Uzi knew Suna had no ill will against the Leaf Village. What made matters worse was the Desert Country was going through it's own tough time. Thinking back, no one looking suspicious of malicious activity passed through while he was active. This letter would have to be passed along to Raizo immediately.

Uzi looked to the bird as it took it's leave. Flying off in the distance, the Uchiha could only imagine the Leaf shinobi's arrival. Uzi sighed, it'd probably happen on his shift as well. He could deal with the Leaf shinobi with no problem. He'd rather not upset them more than what they already were.

He wasn't from Suna himself, but he would stand firm with them through this situation. 'First Dominus and now this.' Uzi shook his head as he finished his second read through the letter. He was hoping it was all a dream, but such nightmares tend to linger even after the morning stretch.

He took a moment to himself, removing his ANBU mask as he stared off into the distance. He hoped that he would be on gate duty when the Leaf shinobi arrived. He didn't know how the others would take to the allegations. There was a proper way to diffuse this situation, but it'd require a talk with the Kage. Uzi placed his mask upon his face, giving a wave as he took his leave. His heart was in the pit of his stomach. How would they explain this case? It really would be ashame if one of the Suna Nin did commit this crime.

'Innocent.' Was Uzi's verdict. He took a slow trail to the Kage Tower. It'd been a while since he bugged Raizo. He had his own matters to get across to the Kage, but for now, it'd have to wait.

[Kaen]

The ex-anbu captain drudged his way back from a most curious evening with some 'friends' out on the Holy Grounds, so to speak. The scorching noon sun assaulted the yellow desert below. Suna was no exception to this heat wave, there was little place to hide from the eye in the sky. Kaen's brows furrowed as he squinted upwards towards the sky, grumbling lowly. Staying awake all night was not something he preferred doing.

Movement caught his eye while looking upward. A hawk rocketed towards the gates up ahead, a messenger type by the looks of it. Interesting... No doubt this had something to do with the conversation he had earlier last night. Perhaps he should look into this? Yes, yes he should. Just in case. Upon arriving 'on scene' he noticed someone else already had the letter in hand. Unfortunetly it was in the grasp of one of his old subordinates. Good thing he kept his old gettup. Pulling a scroll from his belt he would full forth his 'attire' and approach the individual. And just for funzies he would press 'record'. This was about to get interesting...

"Afternoon... I believe that belongs to me..."

"Hmm? Turning around on his trek, Uzi noticed another dressed in ANBU attire. The choice of words caught the white haired guardian's attention.

"Not to worry, this is headed straight to the Kage's Tower." The boy chimed. It seemed the other guard may have been curious as to the contents of the letter. He doubted there were any other reason to ask for it. With it containing matters of the village, he wasn't going to misplace this piece of parchment. "It's an important read, it's actually for the Kazekage. But not to worry, I'll deliver it without a hitch." He took the matter seriously as it was his duty as a shinobi.

Uzi placed the letter under his vest. As if showing it were stored for safe keeping. "If there's nothing else, I'll go ahead and get this delivered. I was hoping to be relieved from duty after this."

[Kaen]

Upon closer inspecting the seal was definitely belonging to the Hidden Leaf Village, just as suspected. The Anbu pocketed the letter for 'safe keeping' informing Kaen that he was going to personally deliver the letter to the Kazekage, Raizo. There was little else he could do in this moment, he quickly surmised. Any sort of action out of the norm would only raise further suspicions. He was already committed, he might as well see this through. "Ah, my apologies. It's not what I thought it was." He lied, followed by an exhale that exuded a cloud of steam from the vents in his helmet, his 'nature' sneaking through. "Allow me to escort you to the Lord Raizo's office, if the letter is as important as you say. It's not often we get messages from Konaha, two is better than one." Kaen would gesture with his hand and a slight bow as if to say 'after you, sir'. He would follow the Anbu to the Kazekage tower from here.
