She hadn't done of this in a while but the situation definitely called for it. Moving the guards away Asuka made her way up to the aviary. A letter with her official seal in hand. It wouldn't be long before she would start this. Opening the door to the aviary she looked around for the fastest bird she could find. Not taking long she found her favorite one, her usual Hawk was available for delivery. With a sigh she petted the bird. "Sorry buddy, this is going to be a long trip." The bird gave a little squak as Asuka wrapped the message around the birds leg. Placing it on her arm. "To sand buddy." She giggled letting the bird fly into the sky. What happens next would not be up to her unfortunately.

Konohagakure and Sunagakure have had a difficult relationship in times passed, words have been exchanged. Actions and decisions have been taken which us, as Konoha, have acknowledged and respected. Recently Konoha has been victim of unprovoked, unsanctioned attacks by an individual dressed in the kin of a Sunagakure shinobi with it's respective headband. Unacceptable doesn't come close to what those actions merit. Although we would like to believe Sunagakure did not have any notion of this, the evidence suggests it was a premeditated attack on foreign ground without provocation or causation with a particular goal in mind.
As of this moment. Any and all agreement between the two villages has been suspended upon completion of an investigation by Konohagakure to fully understand the events and uncover the truth of the matter.
A delegation of Konoha shinobi is being sent to Sunagakure to interview and conduct an investigation to find out the truth. It is expected they will be let through and have independence enough to conduct their work upon this matter. Cooperation is expected to divulge the proper information concerning this matter and to avoid misunderstanding in this precarious situation.
