- Called Shot
Staring at the paper targets, Michio took a drink from his gourd, then started twirling the kunai in his hand. This is easy, I just need to hit the targets like I did when I was a child, and I need to learn how to do it in any state. Drinking again he closed his eyes for a moment, before pushing chakra into his eyes, activating his birthright, taking in the targets that were in a circle around him. Hands blurring, kunai after kunai flew from his hands, soaring towards the targets, and missing. Sighing, he went to pick them up, time to try again. - Sage Mode
“I believe 100% now, that you are playing an elaborate joke on me Sho.” Michio was sitting cross legged, under a waterfall, water flowing over the back of his head and cascading over his shoulders. The water was briefly disrupted as the bear sitting next to him shoved him good naturedly, ”You must concentrate Michio, feel the Natural Energy around you, if you can’t manage this, you will never fight like a bear,” Sighing Michio relaxed back into the waterfall, feeling the water flow over him, suddenly noticing a slight trickle of new chakra flowing into him. ”I think its working?” Seizing on that feeling, he concentrated, and felt the flow grow stronger. ”Good work Michio, onwards to step two!” Michio groaned inwardly, and prepared himself for the next step. - Unarmed Style & Mixed Martial Artist
The Hyuuga bloodline was known for their ability to target an opponent’s Tenketsu points, and a real master of taijutsu should be able to take that one step further. The body was covered in pressure points, just waiting to be exploited. Michio was already a master of Tenketsu points, and it just took practice to target other pressure points and to release a burst of chakra, disrupting an opponent. It wasn't quite the touch of death, but it certainly gave him an advantage. Considering how similar it was to his gentle fist style, Michio realized that he might be able to combine the two of them together. Walking through the kata of Hyuuga’s Gentle Fist style, Michio started striking the target dummy, switching through Tenketsu and pressure points, hands blurring, he wove the two styles of attack together, peppering the dummy with precise strikes, multiple point lighting up to Michio’s Byakugan enhanced eyes. Switching up his attacks, he pushed chakra through his fingertips, leaving embedded bursts in the training dummy. After a few moments, Michio stopped, and the chakra bursts went off, cracking the training dummy along the various points he had struck. I think I can call that a success. - Heavy Handed
Cracking his knuckles, Michio concentrated on his hands, pushing chakra to the edges on his hand, trying to force his chakra to give him a larger imprint size. He had seen other fighters use ridiculously large swords and other weapons, which the pure range they afforded them was worthy of envy, but Michio specialized in unarmed fighting. Sho had suggested he just have bear claws made for himself, but he had initially dismissed the idea. It’s better if I learn to do this, because if I can manage to do this with my hands, I should be able to apply it to any weapons I use. He was adapting a taijutsu he knew to use Chakra to extend weapons reach, he just wanted to get to the point of doing it naturally. Sighing, he decided to try again later, he had done enough for the day.
- Conservative Motion
Michio was hungover. It didn’t happen often, but it did happen. He was exhausted and had barely any energy, which he had made plans for. To minimise the requirements of the day, he always had a water jutsu or two sealed in a scroll, so he could hydrate. The water tastes stale, and the chakra made it tingle, but it was required for recovery. He had to conserve his energy, and this was why he spent so much time preparing in case he ever needed it. Reaching slowly into his front pocket, he reached for the scroll, only to find it missing. God damn it, I forgot to replace it again. - Contract Mastery
”One crab with eight feet,” Michio started off the drinking game.
”Two pointed horns, what a big crab!” Sho followed his lead, knowing the game well.
”Blinking eyes, shrinking head,”
”Crawling, crawling everywhere,”
”Two and two, who should drink?”
”Three and three, who should drink?”
”Five and five, who should drink?”
”Two and two, drink you first!”
”Two and two, you drink first!”
”Ha! That’s on you Sho, drink up,” Michio cried in triumph, too fast and steady for the bear again. Smiling he enjoyed his victory against Sho, knowing that the more he won the easier it would be to win. Smiling he waited for his friend to finish, ready to start again. - Initiative
Michio flicked his wrists, hands moving in a blur, causing the items in his hands to twirl and move like they were a living thing. Into his pockets and back out again, he moved faster and faster, until he reached a point he was sure even an Uchiha’s famous ability to observe would have trouble following. He practiced like this every day, knowing it was going to be extremely important, a vital skill that he knew his life one day would rely on. Pausing, he caught the item, and looked at it, before flicking it back into it’s packet. Being able to cheat at cards was going to be extremely important, and being able to draw faster than the eye could see was going to help him keep the edge. - Physician - Mednin Free ability.
The absolute best cure for a hangover, was chakra infused medicine, or medical ninjutsu. Michio had made a point of learning how to look after himself, and by extension others, because if anything he owed it to his liver, and it made him a favourite the next day after a heavy drinking session. The ability to stretch out his supplies was also a welcome addition to his skills, because it meant that he didn’t have to expend his meger funds on resupplying his stock. It also meant when there was no fighting to be had, he could always sell his healing skills where they were needed. He was a mercenary after all.
