Bloodline: Senju
Age: 12
Height and weight: 4ft 5" and 85 lbs
General description:
Mihoki Kahora, often nicknamed 'Miki' by her parents and hopefully her friends if she ever makes some, can be described as the 'perfect' daughter. It's easy to tell, from her ideal posture and the fact that she never forgets to say 'please' and 'thank you' whenever someone does something for her, that she certainly lives up to that label. Miki's well-kept rich chocolatey brown hair that hangs around her shoulder's and her long black dress without a single crease in suggests she takes pride in her appearance. Her dazzling green eyes that she inherited from her father and her pale ivory skin makes her seem innocent, naive even. Kahora stands around 4ft 5", making her noticeably smaller than others her age. Her small stature has always been an insecurity of hers but she knows that with the right training and motivation from her teacher, she can use that to her advantage. She believes that when the right time comes, her naive aesthetic will trick her enemies into believing she's unworthy opponent and then when they least expect it, she will use everything that she's learnt at the academy to prove them wrong. Even though she not expecting to make many enemies, her raging fire within may not let her, especially if they hurt her loved ones.
Whenever Miki isn't helping her parents with housework and learning to play the violin, she's usually up in the trees admiring the way the natural world makes her feel. After all, there's a lot of pressure trying to live up to the perfect daughter image. She loves the sense of tranquillity and clarity that comes with being up in the trees. It makes her feel at home. Rarely a troublemaker, except for that one time she accidentally stole an orange to give to a homeless man and after realising you can't just steal things she ran straight to her parents and cried all the way home. She's definitely not a troublemaker. Maybe a bit too nice, some would say.
History and Bloodline:
Mihoki can be described as a loner of such, growing up she never made many friends due to her parents constantly moving house in relation to her mother's job as a Diplomat. However, her father began to notice how lonely she was getting and agreed with her mother to finally settle in one place. Miki's mother still goes away frequently on business trips and her father works long hours working as a medical ninja, but at least she can finally settle down and hopefully make friends her own age. That’s party the reason she wanted to join the academy, so she wasn’t as alone. However, deciding to join the academy wasn't an easy decision. She remembers the fear and shock on her parents faces when she told them about a certain event that changed everything.

”Sweetheart I’m sorry but I have to go, it’s for work and you know it’s important. If I had a choice I’d stay with my favourite people.” Kahora’s mother confessed that she’d be gone for 3 months on a work trip. Shifting her weight on Miki’s bed, unsure of how to cheer her daughter up she settled for a warm hug. “I really am sorry. Your dad will look after you and I’ll be home before you know it.” Kahora knew that wasn’t going to be the case, she’d heard the same thing almost every six months for the last five years of her life.
A mixture of feelings came up for Kahora but not a single one was pleasant. The last time her mother had returned, she had made a promise not to spend so much time away from home. But apparently the promise mattered more to Kahora than it had to her mother. She always leaves. Waves of warmth rose in the young girl’s eyes; her vision grew clouded as tears continued to grow. Soon they were streaming down her cheeks. With a bout of anger and dejection, she stood up from the bed, slammed her bedroom door and ran as fast as she possibly could to escape this house which had so often been the root of the disappointments she faced. It was all getting to much for her.
Miki sprinted through the streets of Konoha with tears in her eyes and her fists balled up as tightly as she could bear. The occasional ‘sorry’ was spoken as she bumped into sellers and their stalls in a careless act of escapism. The only goal in that moment was to go to her favourite place in the woods and sit among the trees in hopes it’ll calm her down and make her forget about this disastrous day. Miki slowed down until she came to a halt as she set her eyes on her beloved tree in the woods. She didn’t know why this was her favourite place, it just was. If she sat at the top of the tree she had a beautiful site of the village and it was comforting to her seeing Konoha so small. It made her problems seem so insignificant and allowed them to melt away.
Nestled into the nook of the tree trunk, Miki found herself dozing off to the sound of birds chirping and the light breeze. She had no idea how long she’d been asleep for before she felt herself falling from her high perch. Unknowingly, the wind had picked up and blown her off the branch while she was fast asleep. Kahora jolted herself awake at the sensation only to see the ground quickly approaching her. Time seemed to slow for a moment, in a quick attempt to break her fall Kahora reached both of her arms out however instead of seeing her human hands, solid wood shot from her arms and into the earth below. Her descent quickly slowed to a stop. Confusion and excitement ran through her mind. Finally she was different. Finally she had something to show for herself.

Upon learning about their daughters hidden abilities, her mother revealed that she too had those powers, but they were far too dangerous to be used on others or at any time. Her mother instructed Miki to keep her abilities hidden in fear of others opposing her. Kahora’s father also agreed that she should not tell anyone about her abilities because, as a medic, he witnesses the casualties of missions every day. All he and her mother want to do is to protect her from the risks that shinobi life brings.
