Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Appearance:
Mikaboshi's appearance varies greatly as he is capable of morphing his shape to (for the most part) his will. Â The only primary aspect of him which remains the same no matter what form or shape he takes is his eyes; they remain a reflective golden color with tiny red flecks blotching here and there. Â Typically however he favors the appearance of a young, thin man with short black hair and avian features. Â Attire-wise, Mikaboshi tends to favor formal wear over casual-wear which is a hold over from his upbringing and then subsequent life as a living god. He also tends to stick to neutral expressions to avoid betraying his thoughts though he can rarely refuse himself a smirk when the occasion calls for it.

Retribution
Retribution is the name of a weapon that Mikaboshi forged from a nexus of both his own and Fuujin's arcane power. Â Originally taking the form of a long, exquisitely fashioned two-handed sword and then later the physical form of a large powerful broad axe, Retribution has proved that it possessed the ability to shift it's form-- much like it's creator --to any type of weapon that it or Mikaboshi desires it to be thus it is less of a material weapon and more of a weaponized force as it is not only a source of but a locus for many of Mikaboshi's shadowy powers. Ribbons of Night
The Ribbons of Night are an extension of Mikaboshi and Retribution's combined willpower. Â They are a curtain of darkness that follows Mikaboshi from place to place and is normally inert though during combat they manifest as various things that Mikaboshi's will requires it to such as long stabbing tendrils of darkness or broad wings. Â While the Ribbons rarely take the form of a corporeal weapon-- a function typically left to Retribution --occasionally they will take the form of a spear or cannon to attack with before once more melding into the shroud of darkness.

Rosenthal is the family name given to Mikaboshi's family from ancient days before the modern settling of the countries. Known then as a clan of powerful blood sorcerers, Mikaboshi has carried on that tradition by continuing to practice his spell-casting even to this day even though he has completely surpassed the need to sacrifice his own blood to fuel most of his powers.

Following Mikaboshi's infusion of Pure Shadows into his chakra system, Retribution has since absorbed them causing the godslayer to evolve beyond it's existence as a weapon into a living force of shadow. Which is to say that it has become hunger incarnate seeking to devour any sources of nearby living energy which can sometimes overcome Mikaboshi's control over the energy being allowing it to lash out at his allies. Even despite it's evolution Retribution has little more than a feral intelligence which acts purely out of instinct and what commands Mikaboshi gives it even though it is constantly sending the impulse to feed on life energy into Mikaboshi's subconscious in a effort to motivate it's master to become more like it so that it can feed more often.

Prerequisites
400 Stat Average, Kinjutsu Application, 3 Ability Slots, 10 Mastered Ninjutsu of the chosen Element.
Effects:
- When gaining this kinjutsu, the user may choose any base or advanced element of Ninjutsu to be the affinity of their inner demon. All Ninjutsu of this Element do not require Handseals as the demon bestows unnatural abilities to the user.
- They are treated as having a 'minor' affinity to this element in their base form, and a 'major' affinity in it when in either Demon Cloak form.
- Â If an Advanced Element is chosen, this element will not count towards their 'Advanced Element' slots.
- While in the Demon Cloak, the user has a chance to not be able to detect friend or foe due to the power of their inner demon. Every attack has a certain percentage chance to cause the Jinchuuriki to attack a random target on the field. This only applies to the effected action, not the rest of the fight.
- Jinchuuriki skills do not require handseals.
- All Jinchuuriki techniques receive Damage/Cp reduction buffs to the user's chosen Element.
- All melee attacks made by the Jinchuuriki uses their chosen element's Ninjutsu Accuracy, receiving the chosen element's Damage and Cp buffs and replacing the Melee accuracy/damage buffs.
Note:
- Because of their Inner Demon's Chakra, when any Demon Cloak is activated, any Bloodline and CA Transformation-type technique becomes negated as the user now becomes somewhat possessed by their demon's energies. This does not apply to 'Activated' passives such as Doujutsu or other Core Ability Activated Passives. In addition, No curse seal's may be active during this time as the demon's strength is too powerful to be overridden. Accuracy/Dodge buffs from Jichuuriki and their Bloodline/CA do not stack beyond +10.

Mikaboshi is a creature of strange temperament. Being a supernatural predator that subsists by destroying human lives, Mikaboshi tends to look down upon humans with disdain, believing them to be changeable and unworthy beings. This is a hold-over from his reign as the Ancient of Deep and Shadow in an era long lost to the mists of time and history where humanity served at the pleasure of the Ancient race. Manipulative by nature, Mikaboshi is a being of deceit first and foremost. Though he will never outright lie as he considers such an act "too human" and thus beneath him, one must watch Mikaboshi's words carefully for not only does he consider misleading others with word play and specific phrasing an amusing activity it is hard-wired into his consciousness as almost a compulsion. As with his policy against lying, any pacts that Mikaboshi makes with another he considers to be iron clad. Just as he will never outright lie, Mikaboshi will never outright betray a promise or deal he has made but that does not stop him from creatively interpreting said terms to his own advantage. Aside from his penchant for deceit, Mikaboshi possesses a predatory mind that is constantly assessing those around him for possible weakness and holds no reservations about eliminating those that stand in the way of his ambitions thanks to his low opinion of human life. Having taken an oath to Sousuke to obey his orders and interests implicitly as well as protect the city of Sunagakure, Mikaboshi considers it his duty to destroy anything that threatens the safety and sanctity of the city or Sousuke's life or career.
[Appearance]
Standing at a height of five feet and eleven inches, Mikaboshi is by no means a towering individual. The body that he inhabits is that of a young man who died in the service of the village and was used in an experiment by Sousuke to create a hybrid automaton of flesh and steel. Mikaboshi's hair is raven black and of medium length which never changes as the body he inhabits is by all intents and purposes deceased and possesses points of golden flame for eyes. Upon close inspection, it can become clear that the eyes of Mikaboshi's body don't move as he doesn't actually use them. Instead, the golden color that is reflected in the lens of his dead eyes are the burning presence of his soul essence being projected out of his body giving him a sense of sight. Possessed of a slim frame, Mikaboshi's slight build belies his incredible physical strength and speed as one would expect such an un-athletic looking body would be slow and scrawny at best. Clothing-wise, Mikaboshi is almost always seen wearing a hooded coat over a light cuirass of leather armor along with a menacing looking mask upon his face. For most, Mikaboshi's mask is as close to his face as they have ever seen for only the eyes of the Steward-Kazekage have ever seen the true face of the former Ancient.
[Background]
In the days before the ordering of Wind Country and the fall of the One King, Wind Country was ruled by vast and capricious supernatural beings. Thought of as gods by the men that they ruled these beings which have come to be known as Ancient Ones by history were as unique and varied as the human beings that they subjugated; some were creatures of elemental energy which had attained life and intelligence, others beings from other worlds that had come to ours with thoughts of ruling weaker beings on their minds. Each controlled their own realm, subject to the rule of only the most powerful of the Ancients. An ancient of shadows and deep places, Mikaboshi controlled much of the underground caverns which ran beneath the sands. Possessing a great kinship with not only the dark elementals of the place but with the sandworms that created his realm, the King Under the Sands ruled much of the ancient tunnels and was known quite well as a deceiver amongst the various elemental courts.
That was before the One King and the coming of the First Men. Humanity has long since been part of the natural order but their place had been firmly beneath the heel of the Ancient Ones. None but those that were present at the First Fall could say what it was which caused humanity to rise up against their rulers but with the destruction of the first primeval elemental came the knowledge that they could die. The Ancients, of course, knew this from the beginning. They had been killing each other in their wars for centuries since the first light dawned over the horizon. But it had been a guarded secret that they were in fact mortal since they had first "domesticated" humanity. Armed with the knowledge that their oppressors could be killed, humanity swiftly galvanized behind a singular being whose name was Primus the One King and embarked on a war to take Wind Country for their own. Even as the Ancients fought back against humanity and crushed their armies, still more rose up against them. In their complacency, the Ancients had allowed the humans of Wind Country to breed themselves into numbers that the elementals could never match, no matter how much power they possessed.
A call went out amongst the elemental ancients for each of the court lords to bring together armies to oppose the rampaging humans but Mikaboshi refused to heed it. The problems facing the Ancients of the surface were just that. Their problems. The humans would never descend into the darkness of the caverns to oppose him and when they did he would simply take them apart. The underground was his world just as the surface was Fuujin's. Why should he weaken his own court for the benefit of the surface courts? What if a rival were to assault him during his altruism? No, he decided. It would be better to simply let the war play out; they were only humans, after all.
But the war did not go as Mikaboshi had expected it to. While Homura and Fuujin had killed the One King during the last great battle of the war, humanity had cemented it's place in the order of the world and dismantled the supports of the old world. No longer were the elemental courts the supreme power in the Wind Country and thanks to aid from a mysterious power it seemed as if the mantle of supreme power in Wind had fallen to humanity. Ever the opportunist, the King Under the Sands approached the leader of what was being called by the remaining courts 'The First Men' in respect to the fact that they were the first to rise against their masters and gave to them an offer. He would give to them the knowledge of the deep ways and teach their warriors the power of the dark elements. In exchange however, their nation of Sunagakure had to swear that they would serve his interests by continuing to hunt the other elemental courts and destroy them where-ever they found them. With their glorious leader gone, the first Kazekage agreed to the pact and issued forth warriors to seek and slay the remaining elemental lords and their courts. Given new power and knowledge by Mikaboshi, the assassins did well on their first few hunts. The other courts were ill prepared to deal with the danger of humanity coupled with aid from one of their own.
This of course brought down upon Mikaboshi the wrath of Fuujin, the Ancient which had laid low the One King of humanity. Fuujin was the Ancient of the Sun and Sky and terribly powerful, even underground outside of his realm. Despite his power and the increased strength given to him by his domain, Mikaboshi did not possess the power to overcome Fuujin and fell before the powerful Ancient and in a moment of spiteful revenge Fuujin tore Mikaboshi's essence from his physical form and sealed it within the Ancient of Shadow's sword and gifted it to the first Kazekage as a token of peace. It did not take long for his imprisonment to become clear to Sunahoshi Nori and in a bizzare twist of fate the ancient that would have made all of Wind Country his slave became a servant himself to the men that he once had believed would be destroyed by his kin. Nori however feared the sword that Fuujin had given him, mistrusting the motives of the Ancient of the Sun and Sky. And he was right to fear. For even in his imprisonment, Mikaboshi schemed to regain his kingdom and supplant humanity by corrupting the wielder of the Black Blade which he'd been trapped within.
And so, the Black Blade of Mikaboshi was sealed away within the vault of the Kazekage with the secret of the Ancient of Shadow a guarded secret of the Kazekage's family line. With the line broken now and the vault unsealed to search for secrets pertaining to the disappearance of the last Sunahoshi, the Black Blade and thus Mikaboshi himself have fallen into the service of Takahashi Sousuke-- the current steward of Sunagakure. When the steward first stumbled upon the sword in the vaults of the Kazekage and grasped it's hilt to test it's balance, Mikaboshi immediately attempted to take control of his body but found Sousuke too strong willed to dominate. The two battled for several hours for control of Sousuke's body but the steward emerged the victor and did so knowing that he could do it again if need be. So with his first gambit failed, Mikaboshi attacked Sousuke through another method; a deal. Offering his servitude in return for a physical body to possess, Mikaboshi engineered his eventual freedom. Sousuke agreed to the pact and took up the Black Blade with no resistance this time and then forged for Mikaboshi a powerful body made from both flesh and steel. Now residing in an eternal simalucrum of human life, Mikaboshi serves Sousuke as his retainer and servant awaiting the day that Sousuke's mortality fails him so that he may be free to rebuild the Deep Court and rule the underworld of Wind Country once more.
