Name: Mikoto Kazuo
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Physical description: Kazuo is of average height and weight standing about 5'3" and weighing 120 lbs. Kazuo's build can be deceiving making him look slender but not showing how athletic he truly is. Kazuo's complexion is pale never seeming to tan an ounce regardless of how long he stands out in the sun or not. This adds to his rather creepy vibe that people seem to get from him but it also complements his hair which is in fact two toned a mixture of deep red and black that seem to to blend into each other seamlessly. He usually wears his hair in a controlled mess with his bangs slightly covering his deep orange eyes. Kazuo's right eye is glazed over with a slight scar that reaches up to his brow. His eyes do not show much emotion usually and seemingly has an ability to look through you. Or rather as if they are not looking at you.
Personality: Kazuo is very calm and near impossible to aggravate or show much emotion either way. Though this may be just on a surface level as in his own words he is a very emotional person. Kazuo is a very matter of fact person and has never really been shy when it comes to speaking his mind for better or for worse. Kazuo by his own authority believes himself to be very popular and considers rightly or wrongly that everyone is his friend and treats them as such. Usually dragging them along to partake in one of his various macabre interests. Kazuo is a devout lover of anything horror especially ghost stories. He loves to go to places with a history of ghost sightings and can even be seen talking by himself in such places. This has led people to shy away from him though he himself is oblivious.
Kazuo is a smart person and is usually objective in most situations. He is never afraid to admit he is wrong. Though he is not very empathetic, not that he believes this or even knows this. As a result he tends to make matters worst when it comes to social interactions. Despite acting this way Kazuo does care quiet a lot for the people whom he considers a friend, which as stated above is apparently everyone, as a result he has a propensity to being taken advantage of. This seems to be a minor thing for him and he usually forgives pretty easy. Because of this people tend to call him gullible or naive. But for Kazuo it's different he generally can tell if he's gonna be taken advantage of but chooses to ignore such things in hopes that the better side of the person might come out. Kazuo is also very diligent in his work and can be quiet the perfectionist willing to sacrifice everything just to get a job done.
History: Kazuo was born into a simple farming family, neither rich nor powerful but happy. This family was surrounded by a village of likewise simple farmers and merchants. A small village but a peaceful and happy one. But this was not something Kazuo can really remember clearly. Though he has vague recollections of his parents happy smiling faces. A vague recollection of a old couple who would come over and talk to his father while the old woman gave him treats. But with these small details Kazuo could infer quite correctly that it was a village that ran at a relaxed and calm pace. Blissfully ignorant of anything going on outside of this small village. Kazuo's first real memory of this place was his third birthday. The peaceful atmosphere and the smell of the small farm that his dad owned. He remember he was chasing some dragonflies by his house. His mother in the house cooking something.
But this quaint scene crumbled by the next instance of his dad grabbing him and shouting something at his mom. Both of them looked frantic and the confused little boy looked around. All that could be seen was fire and all that could be heard was the piercing cries of anguish from former neighbors and friends as they met their deaths. He remembers his dad and mom rushing to try to exit the village but being stopped by a soldier. His dad shouting frantically to his mother as he handed Kazuo over to her. And then silence from his dad as he looked down to see both his mother and father on the ground. Something stinging his right eye, Kazuo remembered wiping it and seeing blood his three year old mind not being able to grasp the entirety of the situation. He remembers sitting by his parents for a long time until a person with a forehead protector happened by him and grabbed him.
Kazuo's village was a border village between the bear country and the marsh country. What the village didn't hear or simply chose to ignore was the deteriorating relations between the two countries. Because of this ignorance they didn't run and became casualties in the bear-marsh conflict. Kazuo's family and village just became one of many casualties in the war. But unlike most Kazuo was found by a cloud village shinobi coming back from a mission. Perhaps out of pity, Kazuo doesn't know, he was taken and adopted by the shinobi Mikoto Senki. In the attack Kazuo had suffered a minor blow to his right eye which left it nearly blind. Through Mikoto Senki he was given adequate food and shelter as long as performed adequately.
During this time Kazuo seems to have held no grudge against the marsh nor has he ever showed any depression or loneliness. In fact it seems he has been unaffected by any of it as well as unaffected by anything else that might happen to him. However unaffected he is by his past there does seem to be one peculiarity that might have come from it. He seems to have taken up to talking to things that people deem imaginary friends. Other times he can be seen seemingly staring at nothing. Still some times when talking he'll have obtained knowledge that as a kid he shouldn't know about battles and fighting in general.
