Parties have approved my use of a spectator thread. Should they change their mind at any point, I will close it.
"So flashy..." he would grumble under his breath. The masked man would be sitting atop a building adjacent to the one that now found itself ablaze.
His hands would continue to scribble frantically, as his masked face would remain locked on the combat that was occurring before him. The assignment seemed less and less simple than what he was sold on it being, as he now found himself in not only the ruins, and not only in the Red Light district but now also as a spectator to a clash between two individuals that were both circled within the Oracle's assignment.
"The demon isn't my concern... is what a lesser man would say. I will take my notes and pass them along, but Brother Hotei better pay in kind my diligence."
His actual assignment was that of the former ANBU corps, the one known as Shinku Kaen. As a participant in the upcoming Sennin Games, he was to be assessed by request of the Kazekage before the games even officially started. While this was a less-than-ideal situation, it still was a more entertaining observation than what some of the others on his list had been.
"If he kills the demon, would that make him more or less favorable in the Game's standings..." would be another thought that would linger under his breath, but this time not grumbled, as he would muse upon the idea. Maybe he was actually witnessing the unofficial first round of the Games?
