Character Description: Asuka has long brown hair that comes down to just above his rear, his bangs dyed a bright blue and tied into braids. His face has soft, gentle features and combined with his hair and petite frame it lends him an air of femininity.
Personality: While he possesses a sense of humor Asuka for the most part is a no nonsense kind of person, extremely blunt and having no problem calling others out for their mistakes or deficiencies. Due to this most would consider him aloof which would seemingly be reinforced by his great pride in his abilities, though in reality he's more down to earth than he may seem.
Character History: Hailing from the small village of Xiangfei, Asuka is the fifth child born to the current heads of the Mishima family. Originally desiring just a boy and a girl, they had instead been blessed with 4 males, two of them twins. Despite having gone through such lengths to have their fifth be a girl, even using charms and prayers from local priests, it still turned out to be boy. Frustrated at this they then decided to just raise Asuka as a girl, preferring to deal with the consequences of it later. It wouldn't be until his sixth birthday that Asuka questioned his parents, who quickly capitulated and explained everything.
Though given the choice to go back to being treated like a boy he decided against it, who had realized the benefits he was then having. He had been given his own room, was able to bathe by himself, and given much more attention from family and friends. He had become used to the lifestyle and was proud of his beauty, though he also now identified himself as male.
The Mishima were a long running family of martial artist, trained in the Den Fuujinken style. At his family's dojo he would become proficient at the style, mastering it when he had reached 15. As his oldest brother would be the one to inherit the dojo and with a desire to test his abilities Asuka would move to Cloud, using the money given to him by his family to purchase a modest home.
A few months into his stay he would take up a challenge handed out by a local dojo who wanted to show their superiority by defeating other martial artists in public matches. He would humiliate them by beating some of their best, and in their rage they afterwards attempted to ambush him on his way home. Outnumbered, he would have been killed if it wasn't by the interference of a beggar girl named Yukiko who helped him despite the overwhelming odds. In the process she was severely injured and dying, although Asuka would be able to save her life by taking her to Isaki Kushin, who repaired her body through prosthetics. Yukiko, grateful to Asuka, would pledge her services to him, becoming his maid and bodyguard.
