The Missions Office is crowded with people, both locals and mercenary alike, looking to make a quick buck or two. There are posters advertising missions, both big and small, everywhere! There isn’t an inch of the room that isn’t covered with one flyer or another. Several desks with officers, taking people’s questions, accepting and assigning missions and accepting fees line up on one side.The only available one is with a dour looking gray haired woman with glasses. And, as you approach, her words are quick and concise like she has no time for you and your insignificant needs. “If you’re looking to take a mission, fill in the form on the left. If you want to put up a mission for others, fill in the form on the right. Don’t dilly dally; you’re wasting my time. And time is money.
You look down at the desk and see a blue form, for mission goers, on the left and a green form, for clients, on the right just as she said. But, somehow, some pink forms for mission payment had been mixed up with the blue forms.
Some OOC guidelines for the Mission Office:
- You do not need to post a new topic to acquire mission assignments and rewards.
- For quick Self Modded Missions that you do not want to post up here, the SMM Pre-Approval area is still available for use.
- RPing the acquisition of the mission or the reward is optional. If you feel lazy, feel free to just use the OOC forms alone.
- The missions listed are open to all in Stone, whether they belong to the Mercenaries, Sand or Cloud unless stated otherwise in Restrictions.
- A Battle Ready Warning means that a B-Mod may or may not be called into the thread, depending on events. Make sure your profile is up to date. These warnings often only happen in S Rank missions although they may appear in lower ranked missions, to help educate our villagers in the battle system. Fear not; chances of dying are nil, even in missions with this warning.
- Repeatable missions are, suffice to say, repeatable.
- You do not have to pay for missions you add. Modding the mission you added is optional as well and, if you do, it may be considered as a Self Modded Group mission with your character. If modded by a Mission Moderator or a Councilor, it will be considered a Modded Mission.
- Remember that you can only do missions of your OOC Rank or lower. Restrictions to IC Rank may be chosen by the Client.
- If a mission has an indeterminate mission rank, the rewards shall go by the rank of the lowest ranked party member.
