In her free time she tends to play with several different stacks of cards. Whether it be playing a small game of solitaire, or throwing the cards at her walls. Although she does like to be by herself, she does enjoy the luxury of going to the hot springs. Due to her past, she tends to have trust issues and is very skeptical of adult figures in her life, other than her current caretaker Granny Yuuka. She believes that her parents abandoned her 4 years ago because she was unwanted and inadequate. Due to this she is not very confident in herself which leaves her striving to become better. This lack of self-esteem leaves her to distance herself from social interaction. She also works out alone in her room to try to become stronger and better in her strength. Because of the time that she spends alone, she seems to excel in her academics. Hiroko enjoys reading about other cultures and flowers. She also likes to read the legends of skilled shinobi and kunoichi. Her aspirations are to become the best kunoichi to prove to herself that she is not inadequate. She has athazagoraphobia, which is the fear of being forgotten or ignored. She loves to go out and explore her surroundings on her own. She also enjoys collecting different decks of cards and making houses out of cards. She hates feeling alone and forgotten. She hates when others touch her things and people talking down to others.
Character History: 4 years ago when Hiroko's parents left her on the streets of Kumogakure No Sato, she started her journey growing up in the alleyways. When her parents abandoned her she thought that she was inadequate and unwanted. Due to this, she is not very confident in herself and this leaves her to become better. To live she had to appropriate food from nearby vendors and homes. Her housing was an old cardboard box, damp and warped from the towns climate. To busy herself from the gnawing hunger in her stomach she played with a nearby, well-used, old deck of cards. Nobody seemed to notice the small girl in the alley for two years, for they were too busy enjoying the luxury of warm clothes and houses. One day she took food from a fruit vendor, and put in her backpack. Thankfully, the vendor did not notice but an elderly woman did. As she was walking back to her "home" she noticed a presence following her. When she turned around she saw the same elderly woman looking at her with a sadness in her eyes. That day was they day her life took a turn for the good and the elderly lady, who she told Hiroko to call her Granny Yuuka, took her in and let her stay in a real home. In a real bed. The recently widowed Yuuka needed someone to take care of her common household chores that she could not do herself. For two more years, Hiroko lived in the guest room of the small, two-room house where she learned about the different cultures, flowers, and legendary skilled shinobi and kunoichi. Granny Yuuka turned out to be a retired kunoichi and taught Hiroku about different skills of a kunoichi. She had also taught Hiroko many different uses for the cards she had, such as card games. Granny Yuuka gave Hiroko her second deck of cards and since then she has been collecting different decks of cards. Granny Yuuka is the only adult figure in her life that she trusts. Because of her trust issues she tends to stay alone in her room playing with her many decks of cards or reading. When she does go out she is either running errands or with Granny Yuuka. Though she never found her own self worth, she finally knew there was someone out there that cared for her. Someone to break the chain of abandonment she had experienced. Someone that gave her purpose: becoming a kunoichi like none before.
