Name: Mochizuki Komora
Age: 8
Gender: Female
Sex: Female
General Description:
Komora is four feet, one inch tall. She weighs 52 lbs. Her shoulder length hair is a blue shade of grey with red eyes. She has a child’s body and has no secondary sexual characteristics at her age. She has a thin build and seems a bit on the lanky side. She is often covered in dirt, or wearing her clothes wrong. She doesn’t care though. She has no regards for her physical appearance, grooming, or personal hygiene. If she is bathed and dressed, you can thank that someone in her family took the time to help her.
In a shinobi world, so many are special. Komora is special too, but in her own way. Despite her physical appearance giving the appearance of a particular age, Komora certainly does not act it. Some have described her personality being more like a three-year old’s than like a girl her age. Her social skills are very much lacking, and she struggles to speak in coherent sentences. She has a difficult time reading, and can’t seem to get excited about anything other than swords. She knows a lot about swords, and seems to enjoy every part of the sword, from using them to fight, to pounding them out of raw metal. To Komora, it is not her that is unusual, but it is the world around her. She thinks a different way than others, and she can’t understand why no one can feel the feelings she has or how she can put her feelings into them so that they can feel what she feels. She would much rather draw pictures than to try and explain things with words. Everything would be much less frustrating if the world worked her way.
History:
Komora is the youngest of her siblings in the Main branch of the Mochizuki troupe. She seemed a normal child up until she reached the age of two years old. While her peers and play mates continued to develop and mature mentally, Komora was left after. She was growing older, but still required a great deal of attention and support from her family. She grew to have an unhealthy obsession with sharp objects. At the age of four she managed to get ahold of some knives and ended up killing a small dog and covering herself in the creature’s blood. From that point on knives had to be locked up tight in order to keep them away from her. Even so, it seemed that she always found a way to get ahold of them. Her fascination with knives and pointy objects grew to be primarily about swords as she grew closer to her present age. The family came to the conclusion that instead of hiding the weapons from her, she should instead be trained on the proper use of them so that she doesn’t hurt herself or someone else. This is what began her entrance into the Academy in Kumo despite her weaknesses.
