Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Age: 24

Gender: Effeminate Male

Sex: Male

Sexuality: Bisexual

Born: August 31

Sign: Virgo

Blood Type: AB-

Height: 5’8”

Weight: 135 lbs.

Hair: Medium-dark blue on his left side, black on his right, and transitions to gold as it goes down. Tomo used to braid his hair, but one of his hand mouths likes to play pranks, so he doesn't trust fiddling with his hair for fear it will get spit on.

Eyes: Grey

Favorite Color: Orange (Deep Purple is a close second)

Outfit: When off-duty, Tomo most commonly wears orange shirts with black or white pants. Depending on his mood, his shoes will either be boots or simple flats. When Haruki is in control, he will most likely be wearing plum-colored clothes. During one of his missions, he attained a set of battle gear consisting of a white shirt and pants, with leather protectors on his legs and chest. The leather straps on his torso have few pouches attached to them, and Tomo can add more if need be.

Personality%20Banner_zpsssezwavv.jpg

Tomo
Tomo is a generally quiet, calm young man. However, when his composed demeanor is shattered, his emotions get a bit over-exaggerated. He is a pacifist, but will fight if it is forced upon him. He tries to be a man of logic, though he has been known to lose his poise when intense fear or frustration sets in. Though not uncompassionate, Tomo tends to prioritize his troupe and village in general more than on random individuals. However, he does have a sense of justice, and will try to right wrongs if it is in his capabilities to do so. Though he doesn’t like being a ninja, Tomo has come to terms with it and remains loyal to his village. He has an energetic, cocky fraternal twin sister, which has caused him to generally dislike those with a similar personality. Tomo used to be mistaken for a girl, and had grown to accept that he would never look manly. However, due to his merging with Haruki, Tomo is now a little less feminine, but not by much. His favorite pick-up line used on him was, “Your eyes are like wispy clouds in a sea of your twilight hair.” He rarely gets furious, but every once in a while his sister will cause him to snap. Lately, Haruki, the ghost within Tomo, has been trying the young man's patience as well. Due to this, Tomo is now a bit irritable at times, since the Genin gets no rest from the voice in his head. This also has caused his habit of thinking out loud to become more prominent, so much so that he can frequently be seen talking to himself. (Though in actuality, he is most likely talking with Haruki)

Tomo's Likes
Painting/Calligraphy, Archery, Singing/Dancing, Math, Things Divisible by Five, Staying Out of Danger, His Ink Creations, Managing His Family's Troupe

Tomo's Dislikes
Tama/Haruki, Anyone Similar to Tama/Haruki, Alcohol, Undomesticated/Untrained Animals, Losing Control of His Body, Things Not Divisible by Five

Haruki
Haruki is a romantic who loves to speak extravagantly. He greatly admires beauty, though he believes nothing can compare to the beauty that is his twin lover Haruko...well...except for himself of course. He enjoys tormenting Tomo, constantly trying to frustrate the shinobi in hopes that Haruki will be able to control their body. He has a normal intelligence, not overly bright, but by no means brainless. He is a bit impulsive at times, preferring not to think before he acts. However, this doesn't mean he is short-tempered. He is more apt to laugh things off than get angry over them. In the end, he's just a ghost who wants to make out with his twin ghost sister.

*Note: Every time Tomo sleeps, he must play a game of Go in his mind with Haruki. Whoever is the winner takes control of the body until the next match. It is also possible if Tomo is knocked unconscious, Haruki may take over in his place, and vice versa.

Haruki's Likes
Twin Lover Haruko, Himself, Mirrors, Beauty, Water, Tormenting Tomo, Poetry/Rhyming, Literature, Doing Things on a Whim, Plum (the fruit and the color), Being Over-Dramatic

Haruki's Dislikes
Haruko Haters, Ugly Animals/People, Unnecessary Violence, Over-thinking, Pineapples

Aitouka
The poster-child of 'bitches be crazy', Aitouka was never the most stable individual. Enjoying explosions a little too much, she never fit in well with the less crazy people of her previous village. Her time in prison and hiding away in the mountains didn't help her fanatical behavior. In fact, it may have intensified it. She is a pervert in the highest degree, coping feels whenever she could, though of course only toward the ladies. She loves the jiggle. Now that she is a part of Tomo, she is the little devil on his hand, doing everything in her power to convince him to blow things up or fondle women. But rarely both, that would be a waste of perfectly good breasts.

Aitouka Likes
The Jiggle, Toujigikou Hands, Tormenting Tomo (nicknamed Trap), Explosions, Clay Artwork, Haruki (nicknamed Fancy Voice), The Occasional Butt Grab, Make-up

Aitouka Dislikes
Losing, Flat Chests, Abstract Art, Water, Manly Body Parts, Prison, Reading, Silence

History%20Banner_zpswth78uaz.jpg

Tomo was born into a performance troupe. Sadly, he didn’t inherit many abilities from his extremely skilled parents. It was his twin sister that seemed to take all the talent. His main contribution was his ability to throw daggers, taught to him by his mother. His smaller roles involved performances consisting of singing, dancing, acting, etc. His father was the troupe leader, and Tomo wished nothing more than to take over the troupe. At age 8, he asked his dad to teach him what he would need to do to be the troupe leader some day. His father, happy that his son was so eager to take over, taught Tomo all about the duties a troupe leader is required to do. He was taught financing, how to book appearances, and how to keep everyone happy and healthy. Being a calm, good-natured boy with a knack for managing, most of the troupe will be more than happy to have him in charge, rather than many of his siblings.

However, when he turned 10, his family decided that his twin sister, Tama, needed more training as an acrobat. Since the wife of the troupe leader, Tomo and Tama’s mother, was a retired Kumogakure ninja, the troupe has an agreement with Kumogakure to send people with chakra potential there to become ninja. This seemed like an opportune way to train Tama. She was reluctant to go, but if she wanted to continue to be an acrobat, she had to do it. With his sister about to leave the troupe, Tomo thought he would finally get some peace and quiet. But to Tomo’s dismay, his parents demanded that he stay with Tama to keep her out of trouble. And so, begrudgingly, Tomo was dropped off at Kumogakure with his twin and dreamed of the day he could return to his troupe. They lived at their uncle’s place while the Mochizuki Troupe traveled, and the troupe would visit the village to check up on its members.

After living in the village for five years, Tomo still wasn't very interested in the shinobi life. Because of his lack of interest, he is a rank below his sister. This didn't bother him in the slightest however. After a faithful encounter with a young kunoichi, Tomo began working to become a popular performer to help her with a problem she was having. However, this was a secret to even his sister, and many wondered about his sudden change.
Two more years passed, and Tomo had become an impressive idol. His cheery persona had nabbed him many fangirls, and his low shinobi rank ensured that he was rarely in danger. Tomo was content with his life just as it was, but fate had different plans. During a mission with his twin to investigate a temple, the two were attacked by ghost twins. The ghosts defeated Tama and Tomo before attempting to possess the Mochizuki twins. Though one of the ghosts, Haruki, was able to make a permanent residence in Tomo's body, the genin was able to prevent the specter from taking over.

However, six years had passed as the ghosts endeavored to possess Tama and Tomo. Their bodies had been suspended between the real world and the spirit world, leaving family and friends to believe that the Mochizuki twins were dead. Upon returning to the village a changed man, Tomo was met with skepticism. However, he began working again as a shinobi, despite the turmoil he has been put through.

The first order of business for the village was to review Tomo's rank. Being a Genin at age 23 that rather ridiculous to most. A trial was held, and Tomo was ordered to take his Chuunin exam within the year. Obviously not prepared for the task, one Takaki Saeko took it upon herself to train the Mochizuki. Though her training was lacking, Saeko instead offered Tomo something else, love. But they were both unstable, with Tomo filled with insecurities. It was agreed that when he passed his Chuunin exam, they could begin dating.

After being drugged and almost buried alive, Tomo pulled through his exam and reached the rank of Chuunin. Soon after that, Tomo was sent on a courier mission where he faced Toujigikou Aitouka. After a fierce battle that almost cost him his life, Tomo absorbed the Toujigikou's powers. How will this affect Tomo's life?

Hawkeye
[fontsize="12"]A Hawkeye is said to have the gaze of a raptor, able to see farther and with greater detail than any normal person. With uncanny aim and precision, Hawkeyes are able to riddle an enemy with arrows, kunai, and other thrown weapons.

Vital Strike - Passive (3 points)
Restrictions - C Rank and up
Taking their training to the next level, the Hawkeye masters to art of attacking enemy weak points, hitting them at an alarming rate.
Effect: +2 chance to score a critical hit with ranged/projectile weapons.

Rapid Assault - Modifcation (2 points)
Restriction - Requires Quickshot Jutsu
By training ceaselessly with the Quickshot technique, a Hawkeye gains the speed and precision to fire off even more arrows in a short period of time.
Effect: When using Quickshot, you may take an extra shot.

Flickering Shadow - Dependent Special Move (2 points)
By repeatedly experimenting with the Shadow Shuriken technique, the Hawkeye learns to apply it with their other techniques, bending the light and shadows within their attack, momentarily confusing their foes as they attempt to discern where will the attack will fly.
Effect: Twice per battle the user can trigger a targets reaction to an attack. This must be used in conjunction with a jutsu for +1ap and occurs before the jutsu's effect takes place.

Composite - Boost (1 point) [Purchased 3 times]
Restriction - may only be purchased a maximum of three times
The Hawkeye’s bows are tensed and well - balanced, and their kunai and shuriken have been sharpened for hours on end. Ranged weapons used by the Hawkeye are simply better and more effective.
Effect: +5% damage with ranged/projectile weapons.

Precise Strike - Dependent Special Move (2 points)
By taking their time to aim and waiting for environmental factors or an enemy opening, the Hawkeye is able to set up a shot far more accurate and deadly than normal. Through patience and discipline, they can deal a ferocious hit.
Effect: For every .5 AP they spend aiming (to a maximum of 1.5 AP), the Hawkeye can add +1 Accuracy and +10% damage to a shot or throw. The attack can be combined with ranged jutsu and must be made that round to take effect.

Full Shot - Dependent Special Move (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
That archers are frail and possess little strength is a myth, encouraged by those who wish a little edge against their opponents. In fact, a ranged fighter must possess a great deal of strength to wield a bow--and even greater to use it to its maximum power.
Effect: By sacrificing -1 accuracy, the user may add 5% base damage to a shot or jutsu. Can sacrifice up to -3 accuracy this way.

Sureshot - Passive (2 points)
The focus of a Hawkeye is intense. When they're on their game, the world narrows down to a single target and they are able to land a hit, no matter how many factors go against them.
Effect: All ranged attacks have a 10% chance to auto-hit the intended target. Attacks that auto-hit override any type of auto-dodge or auto-miss effect and land a 100% hit, regardless of whether or not the attack would have hit otherwise. Does not override auto-fail or stun effects.

Keen Sight - Boost (1 point) [Purchased 3 times]
Restriction - May only be purchased up to three times.
With their sharp senses, a Hawkeye's shots tend to be far more accurate than the average bowman's. They are said to be dead shots, able to knock a fly off a target without brushing the target.
Effect: +1 accuracy with ranged/projectile weapons.

Shot on the Run - Physical Style (3 points)
Restriction - C Rank and up
Often quick movement is a Hawkeye's only defense while holding onto a bow. This tends to hinder their accuracy as they move in evasive patterns at greater speeds.
Effect: The user gains a +3 Dodge Bonus while active but suffers -2 Accuracy. All CP costs are increased by 15% while active.
Note: Like any other fighting style, this can be turned on or off at the user’s discretion or lack thereof.

Bounce Shot - Dependent Special Move (3 Points)
Restriction - C Rank and up
Often what looks like it missed is merely a surprise, trick shot. Hawkeyes can do funny things to their shots, making them bounce off obstacles or even thin air before hitting their targets.
Effect: The specified ranged attack can be re-rolled with a +2 bonus to hit at -10% damage for surprise on the bounce. If the original target completely dodges, a secondary target may be chosen instead. Does not apply if it hits the first time. Applies individually to each hit of a multi-hit jutsu.

Sniper - Passive (2 Points)
By their innate knowledge of how the human body moves and where to aim, a Hawkeye is able to make their critical hits that much more devastating.
Effect: Critical hits done by the user deal x2.3 damage instead of 2x with projectile/ranged weapons.

See The Wind - Jutsu (1 point, 1 point to rank up) [Purchased 2 times]
Restriction- A-Rank and up
This jutsu is the pinnacle of Hawkeye secret techniques, allowing the user for a brief moment to see the exact trajectory, pull, and timing required to make the perfect shot. When used, the entire world seems to slow down as they aim and fire, allowing them to determine exactly what to do. Once fired, the projectile speeds through the air and becomes nigh unstoppable, as anything that the opponent might try to do was probably already factored in.
Rank 1: A single strike dealing 2,970 Damage at +2 Accuracy. Cannot be stopped by Wind Jutsu, Shielding Jutsu, the Deflection ability, or instant block effects.
Rank 2: A single strike dealing 3,795 Damage at +2 Accuracy. Cannot be stopped by Wind Jutsu, Shielding Jutsu, the Deflection ability, or instant block effects. This attack pierces through all damage reduction.

Costs:
Rank 1: 1,485 Cp; 2.75 Ap
Rank 2: 1,900 Cp; 2.75 Ap[/fontsize]
Current Hawkeye Points: 20/20

Ghost Walker
[fontsize="12"]Ghost Walkers might have been a clan in days of old, but they now live scattered across the world, mostly keeping to themselves. Their distinct attuning to the otherworldly empowers them, allowing them to use Genjutsu much more destructively, and granting them other unique abilities. Strangely enough, many of them seem almost not quite there themselves...

Note: All techniques and buffs from this Core Ability are considered Spiritual.

Unreal Understanding - Passive (3 points)
Due to their experiences with the surreal and illusionary, Ghost Walkers are less affected by illusions and tend to be less fearful than others, not being completely affected by the intended penalties.
Effect: All penalties from genjutsu are reduced by 1 (if Blinding Flash would normally do -3 accuracy, they only take -2). Fear effects do not apply. 5% chance to break out of any genjutsu each round.

Genjutsu Mastery - Passive (2 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
With their understanding of the real and unreal, Ghost Walkers can use genjutsu much more effectively than others can, making their illusions more potent and longer lasting.
Effect: All Genjutsu costs are reduced by 10%. Genjutsu which are fully effective last an additional round before resistance checks are made, and Partially-Effective Genjutsu are treated as fully effective for 1 round after the initial use.

Extra-Sensory Perception - Modification (2 points)
Restriction- Requires Sixth Sense
Honed beyond that mere "gut instinct" that some people can get, a Ghost Walker’s ability to know things by feeling is just downright creepy in how accurate they can be.
Effect: Can detect people nearby, harder to ambush or surprise. Can often tell if something’s real or not (a fake, illusion, supernatural occurrence) just by looking at it. In battle, this manifests as a +2 to all awareness and genjutsu save rolls.

Ethereal - Boost (1 point) [Purchased 3 times]
Restriction- Can only be purchases a maximum of 3 times.
Ghost Walkers can often take an ethereal form, hence the name. In some cases, they remain partly ethereal almost all the time, part in the world, and part in the world beyond.
Effect: -5% Physical damage taken

Sound Mind - Boost (1 point) [Purchased 3 times]
Restriction- Can only be purchases a maximum of 3 times.
Because of their many encounters with the supernatural or unreal, Ghost Walkers are far less affected by the strange or illusionary, giving them a calm mind in the face of the bizarre or unreal.
Effect: +1 Genjutsu Save

Ghost Illusion - Dependent Special Move (2 points)
Restriction- B Rank and up
Ghost Walkers have the unique ability to make their illusions physically present, making them that much harder to resist and avoid. Their skill in this often confuses others as to whether such things truly exist or not.
Effect: Gives Genjutsu a Physical Presence. The victim makes a check against the users Genjutsu Difficulty as normal but also must make a check against the users Ninjutsu Accuracy upon initiation. Upon a successful Ninjutsu Check, all damage dealt upon the target deal +10% damage. This technique costs Hp equal to 15% of the Cp Cost. This may only stack twice on a single target.

Notes:
- Each round a Ninjutsu Check is also made between the user and the victim following Genjutsu Rulings. If the Ninjutsu Check fails, the additional +10% damage is negated.

Burrowing Spell - Passive (2 Points)
Certain barriers are no use to employ against those attuned to other worlds, as their ghostly sight and senses bypass them entirely. Such overcharged spells have a tendency to be more potent than average as well.
Effect: All Genjutsu bypass barriers, and deal 40 Illusionary damage per Jutsu Level, per sense. This damage is automatically dealt each round the genjutsu is maintained, and cannot be avoided or reduced in any way.

Mind Guard – Modification (3 Points)
Restriction- Requires Defensive Technique
Ghost Walkers live in a world unlike that of most people, and so their minds are much harder to influence due to the spiritual defenses granted to them.
Effect: Whenever the user enters the Defensive Stance, they may replace the Accuracy Penalties and Dodge Bonuses with equivalent Gen DC Penalties and Gen Save Bonuses.

Notes:
-This also counts for Defensive Techniques -1 Acc/+1 Dodge ratio.
-This replaces Defensive Techniques

Mind Over Body - Passive (3 Points)
With so much focus on their minds and honing their chakra, Ghost Walkers often find their minds recover so much more quickly than their bodies do, especially while in their native state of befuddling the mind.
Effect: User gains back 2% CP every round they use a Genjutsu.

Spirit Barrier - Modification (2 Points)
Restriction- Requires Barrier
There is more to this barrier than the mere name, as one attuned to the spirits can hear the whispers of ghosts around it as it shapes into existence. These spirits are more likely to withstand blows for one who can speak to them.
Effect: Barrier gains 1500 HP more than normal when used and fully heals itself each round. The user gains back 300 HP a turn while it is in use.

Ethereal Weapon - Independent Special Move (3 Points)
Long have Ghost Walkers sought a viable means of attacking while in Ghostly Form, and here it is--a weapon of sharpened chakra itself, striking with piercing force and able to be held by even the intangible.
Effect: User creates a pure chakra weapon of any type that is able to pierce half of all damage reduction, including Ghostly Form. This weapon is treated as being augmented with the augments Spirit Link and Mirage, regardless if the user posses the augments. The user may replace either Spirit Link or Mirage with a single purchased augment, but this must be declared upon creation. Weapon must follow all weapon creation rules for the user's rank, and costs 100 CP and 1 AP to summon and 100 CP/rnd to maintain.

Ghostly Form - Jutsu (1 point, 1 to rank up) [Purchased 2 times]
Restriction- A-Rank and Up
The culmination of their supernatural power, a Ghost Walker can use this technique to turn completely ethereal for a small amount of time.
Rank 1: User turns ethereal for 2 rounds. While ethereal, the user only takes 60% damage from physical attacks, but still take normal damage from Ninjutsu/Genjutsu. User also deals 60% less physical damage to others, unless they are using Ethereal Weapon. The user takes +25% damage from Evil/Holy attacks.
Rank 2: User turns ethereal for 3 rounds. While ethereal, the user only takes 50% damage from physical attacks, but still take normal damage from Ninjutsu/Genjutsu. User also deals 50% less physical damage to others, unless they are using Ethereal Weapon. The user takes +20% damage from Evil/Holy attacks.
Cost: 4000 CP and 3AP
Notes: This counts as a Chakra Armor.[/fontsize]
Current Ghost Walker Points: 20/20

Weapon
The Halbowd: Astrosigil
Tomo is skilled at bows, but they can be problematic when fighting in close combat. Therefore, Tomo had a special weapon crafted, calling his new creation a halbowd. It is a bow that can be shapeshifted into a spear. He specifically calls his weapon Astrosigil.

*Note: I am rping it as one weapon while system-wise I know it is two weapons

Astrosigil - Bow Form
Damage Type: Ranged (Bleeding)
Damage: 150 (S-Rank)
Accuracy: +0
Augments: Primal & Breaker (2/3)

Astrosigil - Spear Form
Damage Type: Piercing (+5% Called Shot)
Damage: 150 (S-Rank)
Accuracy: +0
Augments: Swift & Lucky Dodge (2/3)

Unarmed Weaponry: Tomo's Hands
Upon acquiring the Toujigikou bloodline, Tomo's hands have become weapons themselves. He will usually only use his hands when his other weapons are unavailable, or if he is focusing on Ninjutsu use. The mouths on his hands provide extra damage, as he fights using his palms. They also help to disarm enemies, as Aitouka has a habit of grappling weapons with her teeth.

Haruki and Aitouka
Damage Type: Unarmed (Can use hand seals while equipped)
Damage: 150 +5% (S-Rank)
Accuracy: -1
Augments: Anchor Boost, Raid, & Free Flow (3/3)

Ink Weaponry: Pata-wea-pons
Tomo has crafted ink weapons that he stores in his scroll. Because he must concentrate to keep them in a solid form, they do not have the same benefits of his normal ink jutsu. For all intents and purposes, they are the same as any regular weapon.

Ink Goat (Cannon)
Damage Type: Ranged (Suppression)
Damage: 150 + 10% (S-Rank)
Accuracy: -2
Augments: Siege & Lucky Strike (2/3)
Shoots large ink cannonballs. Slow reload time, but packs a punch.

Ink Mushroom (Horn)
Damage Type: Projectile (May use Hand Seals while armed with this weapon)
Damage: 150 - 5% (S-Rank)
Accuracy: +1
Augments: Barrage & Wired (2/3)
Shoots ink notes at enemies. Has good accuracy at the cost of power.

Ink Sheep (Shield)
Damage Type: Bludgeoning (Suppression)
Damage: 150 - 10% (S-Rank)
Accuracy: +2
Augments: Riot Shield & Vanguard (2/3)
Smashing board with great defense. Its large size makes it very accurate, but it's not all that powerful.

CRPJ%20Banner_zpslx82bgwr.jpg
Name of Jutsu: Static Dome (F-rank version of Thunderdome)
CRPJ's Effect: To look pretty.

Example RP of how it will be used:
"AGAIN!" Tomo visibly flinched, fearing his sister would hit him again. Upon hearing about the reward this year for the Lightning Show, greedy Kimiki took it upon herself to whip her siblings into shape so that the Mochizuki would take home the prize. However, Kimiki herself had no affinity for Lightning jutsu, so she had collected those of their family that were gifted in that element. Tomo's eye twitched as he looked to his other siblings. Saka and Soko were having a blast, doing an interesting jutsu together. They didn't even seem to be aware that Kimiki was there snapping a whip. Those two had a knack for finding anything and everything to be fun.

For once, Tomo actually felt bad for Takama and Tama, who were the two out of the five that only had a minor affinity for Lightning. Takama was obviously struggling a bit, as he was much better at using Fire and Plasma. Tama was also having some issues, as her strengths were in Wind and Photon. A sharp sting to Tomo's rump caused him to let out a squeak. If only he could zap that whip right out of Kimiki's hands. However, that would be even more dangerous than taking on a slew of bandits.

He breathed deeply, readying himself to try his jutsu again. As his rocky friends who trained him could attest, the geezer Genin wasn't the best at pulling back the strength of his chakra. He needed more focus for this than one would think. He did the hand seals required for Thunderdome, but did them slowly. He pulling inwardly on his chakra, urging most to remain within while a small hint of it poured out of his pores. A small, see-through dome formed around Tomo, as fragile as glass. Sweat trickled down his face as he began to make poses, lightning sparking around him to match his movements, but remaining within the dome.

A zap to his ear caused the young man to lose his focus, and the jutsu shattered around him. A snap of the whip told of Kimiki's displeased mood. "That barely lasted more than a few seconds. You've got to be able to do it for at least a minute. AT LEAST!" She cracked her weapon. "AGAIN!" Tomo groaned aloud as he wiped the sweat from his brow. He feared for their lives if no Mochizuki brought home that prize.

Reason why it cannot be used in battle:
It only surrounds Tomo and all of the electricity is within. The lightning itself only gives off a static zap, so it doesn't do any damage if anyone touches it (unless they hold their hand to it for long enough, but that would be dumb). It is extremely weak too, so even an E-rank jutsu could easily blast through without losing any power. As for the inside, it lightly shocks Tomo from within, so it would be an extremely counter-intuitive barrier. (as it blocks nothing and continually zaps Tomo)
