It's been quiet for some time now. That quietness has left a void that even Mitsuha has a hard time trying to fill. Yes, she did cure the entirety of Leaf Village, yes, she has regained her rank as Head Jounin. The Village as a whole has been lively, but in terms of anything out of the ordinary, or heck, even some of her friends, have been nowhere to be seen. Her eyes changed from red, to blue, then back to red again. It was something that she was now well aware of, when she thinks on the past, or has an event happen that stimulates an emotion out of her, it seems to awaken an old part of her. However, with nothing going on, she often finds herself lost in thought.
So she decided to go to the Forest of Death, and deep into the Heart of the Forest to train. There is said to be creatures and monsters that dwell here that are as strong enough to give even Jounin ranked ninja a hard time. Naturally she would go there to train.
In a sense, this was a blessing for her to finally get her mind off of things. As such, these types of things are always double bladed. She won't think too much on the past since she'll have to focus more so on defending herself and eliminating any threats that come to her. Being a human puppet does make the danger factor of it all seem less, since she can fix broken parts, something that she won't be able to do if she was a regular human. Killing a giant ant the size of a building with ease, Mitsuha took to the trees to get a lay of the land and scout out any lone monsters before she thinks about striking.
