Name: Katie Bug
Age:20
Description: Ivory hair, bright green eyes. Around 120 pounds, 5ft 4 in. Loves to be outside, near animals. Is very shy but once you get to know her, she is very loyal and very open. If she isn't outside with animals she is inside reading or writing. Got the nickname Katie Bug due to her love for nature. Loves dressing in darker clothes.

History: When Katie Bug was just a little girl, her parents found her ways quite strange. She was always outside with nature, hardly ever made human friends. When Katie Bug claimed one of the animals talked to her, they sent her away for a while to a private school. When She came home from the school, she was more withdrawn than ever. She tried to be normal but she knew she wasn't. During her stay at the school everyone tormented her, mocked her for talking to animals. and constantly made her feel like she was crazy. Katie bug knew better but it didn't stop her from growing a burning hatred towards them.

Welcome to the site Buggie! (mind if I call you Buggie?) Anyway, there's a few things that need to change to get you up and running!

1) Name: In order to fit with the theme of the site, all players need to have Japanese names. There are simple ways we can go about it. You could take a word you want and translate it into the Japanese word and use that. (Ex: Bug = Mushi) You can also edit your name to fit with the Japanese alphabet. (there is no 'ti', instead it is 'chi') So you could edit your name to Kachi (or something like that) Here is a link to the Japanese Alphabet to get a better understanding of how you can go about naming. ->Japanese Alphabet Link<- You can always just throw sounds around until you get something you like. (Ex of a random name by throwing stuff: Katsutobe Kachime)

Don't forget that the surname comes first in Japan. (Ex: My name is Mochizuki Tomo, but to English speakers, the order would be Tomo Mochizuki) I would be happy to help you through this if it is a bit much. (I can offer possible names to fit your character if you'd like it to be meaningful, etc)

2) Age: Characters starting out on the site must first go through the Academy as students. Because of this, there is an age range limit of 8 to 13 when first creating a character. Also with a younger age, her height and weight might be a bit different. Here is a link to the average height/weight of children/teens. ->Height/Weight Link<- You of course don't have to change your physical appearance, but it may be something to consider if you decide to be on the younger side.

3) History: We have a 150 word requirement for histories, and I'm afraid you've only hit 111. Some suggestions to help give your character some more development might be to add a bit more on the parents. Are they farmers? Fishermen? Merchants? Other places we can learn more is when she was in the private school. Due to the age thing, my suggestion would be that she went to private school between 8 and 9, then got out around 11 or 12, then was sent to Kumogakure at 13-ish (this of course is assuming you wish to be as old as possible). You could show us a specific incident that occurred at the school with the tormenting, etc. Lastly, when she returned and was more reserved, how did her parents feel? Since Inuzuka are known for their ability to converse with canines (and are a well-known clan), did her parents find this out and send her to Kumogakure in hopes that they might understand her? Or was it a bit more cruel and they sent her to Kumogakure because they figured she needed a tough environment to force her to stop being odd and didn't even try to understand her?

Name: Ryu Kachi
Age:13
Description: Ivory hair, mint green eyes. I am around 98 pounds and 5 ft 3 in, I used to live on a crop farm. I love Animals, nature, books, and writing. I love to wear pretty dresses, well I used to before I had to run away.

History: My father is a crop farmer, he sells half of his crops for money, the other half was for us or for trade for other items. My mom was the home maker, and I was the abnormal daughter who loved to talk to animals. My parents could barely tolerate me refusing to make real friends. Their last straw for me was when I came home claiming an animal talked back. They started to talk about sending me away to a special place where they'd make me normal.I knew that meant an institute, and I wasn't going to let it happen. So I ran away from home when I was just 12...for one year I've lived on my own hiding with villagers in return for me doing house chores. Now I am setting out to find my real destiny. I don't know what exactly it is, but I am sure it'll be something great!
