Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Today was going to be an important day for the Byakko Clan as the daughter and son of Kyuji and Yanshi were going to learn about their family and their upbringing so far in their lives. Sadly for the children, their lives had been accelerated quickly in the ancient Byakko Realm to the point where they were currently half way to becoming adults in such a short amount of time in the physical world even though they had only been born months earlier. It was only fair to the children to know what was going on and so they knew that they had the opportunity to go to this ancient realm of the Byakko Clan if they wanted or needed since it was only available to them or someone who had the permission and grace of Lord Byakko. But, let's not ramble on since the children are going to be here any minute along with Lady Yanshi. Kyuji had to get ready as they were currently waking up and probably eating breakfast while he was sitting in their living room meditating and preparing himself to reveal to the children everything that they wanted or needed.

The man known as the demigod or the descendant of Byakko had been thinking long and hard with his beloved wife about the perfect opportunity to tell them along with planning their wedding. Sadly considering the rest of the Toraono Clan was busy preparing for a war between Sora and the Daimyo, the wedding would have to be postponed even longer. Fortunately however the Byakko Clan had sent a message to the other parts of the whole clan explaining that they didn't want to participate in the war anymore with a family now and had been granted leave. Besides, the whole clan would get stronger if they actually decided to allow Yanshi and Kyuji the opportunity to grow their family and train their children.

Any minute now the children and Yanshi would be walking into the pristine, white but dim lighted room since it was still early in the morning. Kyuji was wearing a simple kimono that was black with yellow markings displaying their clan's emblem on his back. He was in deep thought but could be snapped out of it if he was touched or if he could sense a presence in the room.

It was finally time to learn not only about the family's history, but also about themselves. Although Yanjirou had never particularly cared about the truth behind his origins, and the strange world he lived in for several years after birth, it would certainly be interesting, and perhaps bring to light several things he had questions about. For example, the ears that everyone in their family seemed to have... The one thing separating him from being considered a normal human being! Maybe, just maybe, there would be a way to rid himself of those... Not really awful things but.. Irritating? That would have to do, there was no longer any time to think about such silly things. Arguably one of the most important things he was taught at a younger age was showing up on time, never too early or too late.

The boy had dressed himself in a kimono that was very similar to his father's, but without the yellow markings, just black with the clan's symbol. Upon exiting his room, his mother and sister were already sitting down to have breakfast, but because of the time he spent thinking about their ears, he wouldn't have any time to actually eat the food that was prepared for him. Damn! Why did he even bother with such silly things when he was trying to be "normal?" Would normal people care if they were slightly late or early to their fathers story time? "I'll be going on ahead." Yanji mumbled as he passed his family members. He would just have to eat later while he explored the town.

One thing that always irritated him was how clean their home was.. Or at the very least, how clean it appeared to be. Everything was white. Maybe it would bother him quite as much if everything was white, but the way that their kimonos contrasted with the white background just.. Annoyed the boy, he almost has to strain his eyes to look at others. Upon entering their living room, the boy sat quietly next to his father. Despite his constant attempts to go unnoticed in their home, he likely already noticed the child. Yanjirou did not know if anything had to be said just yet, but he knew that he would remain quiet until either his father spoke or his mother and sister entered the room as well.

Name: Byakko Kyushiko
Relation: Daughter of Lady Yanshi and Kyuji

Name: Byakko Yanshi
Relation: Wife of Kyuji and Head of the Byakko Clan

The head of the Medical Council and father of Kyushiko and Yanjirou was still deep in his meditation when his son walked into the room and plopped himself down beside his father. Luckily for him and his dad, the noise was not even heard by the descendant of Byakko as he kept his position with his eyes closed as he was trying so hard to clear his mind of everything to focus the entire discussion on the children and their past along with their questions. Yet, it was troubling him to have to reveal how the children's early memories were rushed so quickly to the point where they went from mere infants to walking, breathing and practically independent individuals in the village. In a sense, it saved the children the painful trials of learning how to do many things like using the potty, learning to walk, and learning to talk but their parents still had to bear all those hardships and sleepless nights of crying, puking and the children spoiling themselves. But in the end, all those hardships made the family stronger and it got the demigod out of going to war with Sora and the Daimyo who ruled over the country. Still, he questioned if their intentions were as sincere as they made it sound and if they managed to overthrow the government and defeat the military protecting the the head of the country; it wasn't entirely his concern anymore, he had a family to protect and raise. Family comes first, always according to himself and his brother, Kuro.

Within mere minutes after Yanjirou walked into the room, the ladies of their family walked in wearing matching kimonos that were the complete of the males as they were white and had blue lace on them. But, just like the males' ones, the kimonos bared the clan's emblem on them. The ladies would sit opposite of their male counterparts in the other couch in the room with a table placed between them that was bare aside from Kyuji's and Yanshi's ninja tools that they had when they went out of their home into the deadly and often at times destructive world known as Wind Country or the Hidden Sand. It was probably not the best parental decision since the children had easy access to them; however leaving out their equipment did intrigue an interest in Yanjirou which made him come to the decision to use a katana or at least carry one around. As for the other child, it appeared that she was a late bloomer as she had not shown much interest in becoming a shinobi anytime soon, but she was definitely mature body-wise for her age. It would probably become a problem for her when she went to the academy, but she had her brother to stick by herself when they finally did go to the academy. The paperwork had been filled out by their parents a few weeks earlier and had been processed by Kyuji himself, so they were ready when it was time for them to go. Attending the academy would probably come up at some point in their family discussion.

But, the meditation of the younger parent would be finished for now as he opened his eyes to his lovely wife and beautiful daughter while giving his son a little rub on his head. He would then get up and ask his daughter to sit beside her brother and she did which allowed both parents to sit beside each other and look at their little miracles easier. The descendant of Byakko would begin the conversation with a simple but quick explanation followed by a question. "You both know why your mom and I asked you to come today and that is because it is time to tell you about your upbringing. But before we begin, is there anything you two particularly want to know? If not, we will just start from the beginning and stop when we think it is best."

It didn't take too long for the females of the Byakko family to enter the room after Yanjirou had, and once everyone had been seated, and rearranged by the head of the clan, it was time to begin. After their father had explained what they would be discussing, which they both already knew, he asked if either he or his sibling had any questions. Of course, the boy had plenty of questions, but none of them really related to the topic at hand, so he kept them to himself and simply shook his head no. He did not know what his sister might have to say, but he did know it might actually be a tad interesting to learn about their past. An opportunity to learn things he did not previously know about was something Yanji was always up for.

And what could he expect from the story? Anything, really. Why did they have cat ears? Why did they miss several years of their life? Those would be two questions that would benefit both of the children, but the thing that would truly be good to know would be not only the history of the clan, but the history of the village. After all, history repeats itself, so to avoid making mistakes in the future, one must first learn about the past. Maybe the ears truly were a curse, as Yanjirou believes them to be. Something that was meant to separate the Byakko bloodline from the rest of the world, to make them outcasts, or freaks? These answers were soon to come, so the boy was paying careful attention for whenever his father would begin.
OOC: Short, but not too much to react to just yet.

It appeared that neither child had any questions thus far or they were just simply keeping them to themselves until they had more information first. Their father, a man of his word, was going to tell them as much as he could about their upbringing along with their clan's history; however, a guilty feeling was building up in his stomach at the thought of telling them how their childhood had practically been stolen from them. But, they needed to grow up quickly and going to that Celestial Realm was the easiest way for them to do that considering the village--no, the country was falling apart piece by piece with tensions building up in his own clan and the Daimyo trying to destroy the Hidden Sand. Fortunately, the village and his clan had stayed strong so far, but it wasn't going to last forever considering everyone was being worked especially in the Hospital and people were getting injured, sick, and what not more and more possibly due to exhaustion or just being naive. Who really knew?

His wife, the great head of the Byakko Clan, knew this day was going to come eventually as they couldn't keep their children in the dark forever. But, she didn't think that Kyuji would be feeling so badly about the whole ordeal considering they still saw their children growing up in that special alternative world. Sadly, it appeared their brains had not been developed enough to remember growing up in the Celestial Realm as neither could recall the time in their lives. But, rest assured both children had asked their mother and father about that time which they had brushed off and told them they would tell them when they were older.

It was time however for them to come clean and tell the children everything that they knew and to see the backlash that would ensue after they were done talking to them. So with both of the parents' nerves seemingly wrecked, they would hold their hands as they both sighed a deep one before they began. "Well, it seemed the day has finally came for you two to learn everything about your upbringing since neither of you can remember any of it. But before we get to that, you should know about the Byakko Clan's history. We are a side branch of the Toraono Clan and descend from the blood of the celestial beast Byakko, the great white tiger. As such our clan members are normally born with white, gray, or blonde hair with exotic gray, blue, or ever rare completely white eyes. Our clan members typically are able to use taijutsu that combines their inner energy flawlessly with their movements resulting in a combat style known amongst the Toraono Clan as Tora no Ken or Fist of the Tiger. The Byakko Clan they are as old as the Toraono clan and of soldier stock where the Toraono Clan were once gladiators. The Byakko Clan was originally called the Tiger Speakers. We were an army created during the rule of Ancient Emperor Fuujin. The Tiger Speaker army was entirely composed of women, with men having no roles in the Tiger Speakers' lives other than that of husband. Men were totally shut out of the Tiger Speaker combat forces, with the exception of the Toraono Clan Demon/Celestial Hybrids. They were trained to be fanatical, disciplined, and extremely effective doctors, soldiers, and police. The Tiger Speakers were also used in Ancient human breeding programs, taking advantage of their speed and strength. The Tiger Speakers were not only an army but also served as bureaucracy: pages, courtiers, archivists and teachers; some were priestesses, serving as judge, jury, executioner in one. Ancients also used them as secret agents and assassins, apart from the official Tiger Speaker Guard and elite units as the Imperial Guard. Errant Tiger Speakers were isolated and served as Death Commandos or Berserkers. Men originally only served as advisory capacity and only later became Tiger speaker auxiliaries, which was generally seen as a sign of the degeneration of the original Tiger Speaker schools. The Tiger Speakers typically wore skintight one-piece uniforms or uniform-robes with the Byakko Seal on the left breast, cloaks or cape-robes, high boots and, for commanders, heavy black armor and face masks. The common color was a rich dark blue, although acolytes and trainees wore short green robes, Special Guards wore Forest Green, and Tiger Speaker Commanders sported black uniforms with gold striping. Tiger Speakers who left the Tiger Speaker Guard or served as Doctors, Priestesses or Executioners wore ceremonial white. After the realization of freedom under the One King and the awakening of ties with Byakko, the Tiger Speakers became the Byakko Clan, the strongest female run clan in history. Although traditionally a Matriarchy, they have accepted exceptional men in partnerships and ruled their homes in a 60/40 or 70/30 split. As for us, your parents, I am the head of the Byakko Clan and your father is the descendant of Byakko, our god, and is a demigod. Eventually, he will be going on a long mission to become even closer to Lord Byakko and he will probably be taking you, Yanjirou. As for you, Kyushiko, you would be the head of the Byakko Clan if I would die and would need to find a partner---"

She would be cut off by Kyuji there as he looked at her and then the children before saying anything. When he was ready, he would lean back on the couch and begin to sternly talk to them starting off where he cut Yanshi off. "You actually would not need to find a partner, Kyushiko. The Byakko Clan does not need a marriage nor does the head need a partner to rule the clan. However, you both are probably asking what would happen if Kyushiko would pass before becoming the head of the Clan. That is a simple answer, the title would then be given to your mother's sister whom you haven't met yet as she has been preoccupied in her area of our clan's holding doing her own little thing. We are sure you two will meet her someday as she actually does not that you exist and actually was temporary filling in as the head of the Clan while we all were gone. That's right, your childhood was not spent in this clan nor this world actually. You see, a student I had actually delivered you two in our infirmary and then we pretty much immediately headed to the Celestial Realm where you two grew up and then we returned. Our mother and I both do not know why you two do not remember any of that, but we think it has something to do with how the brain develops. You two were little babies when you went in there and obviously grew up in there learning how to walk, talk, eat, and everything else. It is possibly the chemicals in the brain going in and coming off had changed so much that it affected your memory. But again, we don't know."

He would then take a breath as his wife would look at the children with a smile on her face but clearly sadness in her eyes. She was hurting badly hearing this all being said to them and the anger and frustration that would probably occur after words. But, she solemnly would continue their explanation: "We never meant to have you two lose your memories and forget all the fun times that we had together while you were growing up...but we are sorry that it happened this way. You need to understand though that the village and country going in and even coming out of the Realm was very screwed up and we needed to have you two grow up quickly to be able to help us out if we needed it. You see, the Daimyo of the Country sent a group called the Cabal to the village who caused havoc, destruction and killed many people in the process. Our main branch being the Toraono Clan is trying to go to war with the Daimyo in his home in Sora and wanted your father to go with him where we being your parents believed he would've been murdered in cold blood and hung up in a public display. Our father did not want to go and you two precious children came right at the right time as they were going to send him off with Lord Kuro, but he got a leave from that duty to help me raise you two. There is also speculation from your dad that Lord Kuro is a dangerous man and we are asking you to please stay away from him because he know for torturing students and Genin to get them more power....there are other ways to get stronger and get power than being tortured and making a deal with a demon or the Devil..." "Yanjirou, Kyushiko listen to your mother and I on my brother, Lord Kuro. We both advise you stay away from him unless we are with you...I am sure he means well but his methods are not ideal and I saw first hand what he will do to make someone stronger and more powerful. It actually brought tears to my eyes as those students' bodies were shaking and moving in ways they should be able to do. Also, stay away from my cousin, Miroku Akkuma. He is the Devil himself and he will try to make a deal with you which is giving you a curse seal to make you stronger, yet you will lose complete control of your body using it and he might try to operate on you to put something sinister inside. He actually did that to another student of mine named Surutameni...I have no idea how he did it but he put a wolf's spine inside of the child's body which had been possessed by a demon. The child could not control the spine and it tried to murder me I believe three times but luckily I stopped him. Also, you may want to go find a genin named Aikayume Azusa as she is the one who delivered you and become a medic-in-training for the village in doing so."

The man known as a demigod would then pause momentarily as his and his wife's grip in their hand holding got tighter possibly due to nerves before he finished by asking them a simple question. The question was a simple one and hopefully they wouldn't be too pissed to not respond to it: "I am sure you have some questions so what questions do you have? Also, you can be mad at us if you need to be but we were doing what we needed to do to protect yous and help the village. We are truly sorry that your childhood got ripped away from you, but you are both nine years old now and have a long future where we both know you will do amazing things! So swing if you wanna to and shout if you want to at us."

Once he was finished, he would see Kyushiko shake her head and say simply in one of those adorable sincere voices: "Mommy and Daddy, I am not mad at you. I think I can understand why you did it, but I am sure Yanjirou and I both wish we could get those memories back that were lost." Understandable to want your memories back, but what about Yanjirou. What did he have to add to this conversation?

As expected, the story began with a bit of information about the clan itself. Likely because his sister is less interested in learning about the world, despite them being quite ignorant due to several years of lost memory. Thankfully, his mother quickly got into some information the boy hadn't heard or read about previously. It came as quite the surprise that the clan started as a branch of the Sunagakurian military, and that the branch consisted exclusively of females. Practically all of the information Yanjirou was told about these "Tiger Speakers" was stored in his memory for later use, as all of it seemed like it could be useful in the future. When the beginnings of the clan was explained, it brought to light the fact that Lady Yanshi was the true head of the clan, being historically correct, and that his father was more of an idol with some influence over the clan's activities. Another thing to be remembered, of course. The whole story about the clan being descendants, or at the very least, worshippers of Byakko was also quite interesting, and the possibility of being taken to this... God, was fascinating enough to make Yanji's eyes glow a golden hue as he began to smile slightly.

Soon after he began to be interested in the conversation, Akujin interrupted their mother and began explaining that Kyushiko would not actually need to find a partner, causing him to lose interest a tad, before regaining it once they discussed the siblings being put into a different world entirely. If given the chance, Yanjirou would have stepped in to give his own theory that he had formulated during the statement of their assumption, but the conversation was moving too quickly, and he would simply have to wait till the end to say what was on his mind. "And here I thought my parents would be sharp enough to figure something like that out.. Weren't they supposed to be the ones that worshiped this 'god?'" Of course, soon after explaining their origin they had to make excuses for why they did it. Helping the village, fighting, risking their lives for the betterment of the country.. None of these things truly appealed to the boy, perhaps if a knife was held to his throat he would assist them, but purposely running into danger? No. The boy preferred standing back and observing until something so interesting, that it had to be experienced first hand showed itself.

The parent's warnings that came after, primarily their warning about Miroku Akkuma, had the opposite affect on at least one of their children. Yanjirou was, of course, interested in Kuro's theory about pain making people more powerful, but experiments that involve transplanting demonic body parts into shinobi? That sounded not only innovative, but interesting. Such experiments could change the world as they know it, and perhaps even sate Yanji's hunger for knowledge. For good? Most likely not, but it would surely be quite the experience...

"Only a comment from me, don't you think that Byakko would have prevented us from remembering anything from that realm? From what you've said, you were both either born worthy, or made worthy because of your position. Would new born children really be worthy enough to remember such an extraordinary world? Not only that, but it seems that we didn't quite lose our memory, as much as have it replaced by something else entirely. Speaking for myself, any amount of training, studying, or whatever else I might have been taught in that plane of existence, was replaced with memories of being trained in our own. My skill with the blade, my knowledge of the world, my interest in the people of the village, all of these things seem to have stuck with me since exiting that world, even if this was the first time we've ever heard about it. Perhaps the gaps in our memory are just the hole left from having nothing comparable to what we saw?" The boy was satisfied with his own explanation, but it was obviously up to his parents and sister if they would believe it. It simply made more sense to him, if Byakko was as powerful as they were making him out to be.

It was apparent that their beautiful daughter seemingly was not upset or phased by any of the explanation given by her parents about her upcoming. Yet, both parents were still feeling pretty bad for tearing that somewhat important time in their lives away from them. Still, neither child really seemed concerned or irritated about it as their son would begin to talk offering an explanation or more of a theory on what he believed to be the reasoning for them to not have any trace of memory from that realm. It seemed that out of their two children, their son was becoming the smarter and more knowledge of the two. Then again, their daughter had not even shown much interest about the shinobi arts nor even becoming a shinobi. Sad, quite sad. But back to the explanation, it actually made some sense considering they were pure and innocent going in and out and thus they hadn't really prove much to their god. Still, one would think that Byakko would actually not want to steal something from someone who had done no wrong in the world. Either way, they had no memories and this theory was a good one at that...interesting perspective and definitely made some sense. Nice work, Yanjirou.

It was evident on the faces of their parents that they were intrigued by their handsome son's theory. Hell, Kyuji had leaned in while he was talking to listen even more intently on it. It actually had given him an idea for the children to attempt with their parents in the future. But for now, he would nod at them both as he leaned back again in his seat while bringing out a mask that was in one of his pouches and an empty syringe in another. He would then put the items on the table between his family and he smiled at them all as he began to speak again: "Yanjirou, that is actually a very good theory that you have and it in some ways would make sense. Your memories might have been lost in that realm as Byakko wants you to prove yourself to him to show that you are worthy to worship him and deserve the information. I believe he might have the memories stored in that realm or in his own mind but is waiting to bestow them to you when you prove yourselves. As you two probably do not know, we have a shrine and building in the back of our clan away from the general public. That is where I had to prove myself to your mom and Byakko when I first stepped in this clan so when you two are older and more experienced, we will take you to those sacred grounds. But for now, let's discuss your futures moving forward. As you can see on the table, I placed a syringe and a mask which symbolize the medical and ANBU branch of the village. We as your parents and medics would hope that you follow in our footsteps and become medics, but we are not going to force you to go down the same path we did. Your future is in your hands, but we will 100% support you on any decision you make. You could go into the ANBU, join us in the Hospital or just be a normal shinobi and do your own little thing. But, that is down the line so let's discuss your future in the next few weeks. You both have been accepted into the academy and should attend classes in the coming weeks...they may be taught by me or they may be taught by someone else. If I am teaching you, I am your teacher and not your father during the class so you will not be given any special treatment. Same thing if I would be giving you an exam in the future, no special treatment. You may think it is tough love, but we both earned everything we have and you two are going to have to do the same. You might be in a prestigious clan, but you are going to have to make a name for yourself and earn everything like we did."

He would then look to his wife who had her eyes closed, but they would reopen after a gentle nudge from him. She would turn her head slightly to him with a smile as she took over the talking for now. Whenever either parent was talking to them, they were stern but not being overly rude or mean to their children. They were quite proud of their children but they had to give some tough love here and there. However, they were both smiling and upbeat as they talked as nothing too serious had occurred yet in their discussion. "Is there anything you would like to know that we didn't address? We all know there are questions that you are dying to ask as children always are curious and wanting to ask questions. We will try to do our best to answer them obviously."

Yanjirou was pleased to learn that his theory was at least acceptable, as both parents seemed to accept that as a more likely possibility, and he went on to listen to his father as he questioned the thought of his god denying children their memories. Most of this became white noise to him, until two objects were placed upon the table. The boy was unsure of what each symbolized at first, and he was also quite confused as to why his father would just be carrying a syringe and mask around in his kimono, but he made sure to listen carefully to what Akujin had to say now that these items were presented to them. As any parent would want from their kids, they both wanted their children to join the same branch as them. Probably so that they could spend more time with the kids, or feel like they had enough of an influence over their lives. As for what Yanjirou actually wanted to do..

"I understand that you'd want us to join the medical branch, but I'm still not sure which of the three I actually want to join. As I'm sure you've both noticed - assuming you pay attention - I am easily interested and strive to learn as much as I possibly can. Things relating to biology are certainly some of the more interesting things, but if I joined the medical branch I feel as though I would be missing out on so much out in the real world. Joining any branch, in fact, might restrict my research more than I really want it to be. But, I know that not becoming a shinobi simply isn't an option when I'm capable of using chakra in some way, so I'm not going to try and fight it. My point is, I have no answer to give you about my future just yet." Not only did he not know what he wanted to do, he also had no way of speaking for his sister. With all of that crap he'd heard about twins sharing a special bond, him and Kyushiko had never really cared for each other. While he was off researching the habits and behavior of common folk, she would be off doing her own thing in some other part of the village, and they haven't ever felt some strange connection like people have said twins share. Maybe that's specific to twins who truly care, rather than twins who could care less. Then again, it could just be something that takes time. Yanji certainly wouldn't mind researching such a thing if they ever gained that bond.. Surely there was some logical explanation for it.

After their mother had asked, once more, if they had any questions about the conversation, the boy simply shook his head no and waited for whatever Kyu might have to say. Who knows, maybe she'd already decided what branch she wished to join?

The loving medics that birthed two talented and unique children listed carefully as their son explained to them that he understood their reasoning to have their children join the medical branch considering their father was the current figurehead of the branch. He would continue explaining to them that he hadn't decided on a branch yet and that all the branches would restrict in some shape. In all honesty, he had a valid argument about the restrictions that each branch had on a shinobi if they decided to join that branch, but he also would eventually probably have to pick a branch. But, it was fine right now to not be certain on his future considering his sister and him were both only nine years old. However, their son was correct that they would hope that their children would follow in their footsteps, but either case, they wouldn't be upset unless their children did something severely wrong like murdered someone or raped another villager. And with that, it appeared their daughter had nothing to add to the conversation as she seemed to be spacing so the adults in the room, or the people who were suppose to be adults and not horny bunnies, were going to speak again.

It appeared that Kyuji was going to be speaking as his wife was going to speak, but he put his hand in front of her and looked at her with a nod that she understood. He would look back at their children with a smile as he leaned back again on their couch-like seat. His eyes would shut as he began to talk: "I understand where you are coming from my son. You are both only nine years old and have years to learn where you want to go in the village. Besides, your future is yours and we will support you regardless of what you do as long as you aren't going to go down a dark path against our family or this village. His eyes would then open as he would lean towards them with his smile replaced with a straight face and his tone changing quickly to a serious tone as he continued: "But, if either of you decide to betray this village or this family, I will personally hunt you down and handle you myself. I do not want to be bringing my children back in a body bag or seeing you hanging in the streets. Just understand that just because you are twenty years younger than me and not in as much pain as your mother or I does not mean that I will not go to the ends of the world to kick your ass if you decide to do something idiotic. And with that, you are both dismissed. We can talk more about your future and past at a later date."

He would then rise from his seat as he left the room and their daughter quietly followed suit back to her own bedroom leaving Lady Yanshi and their son in the room. She would have her eyes shut and sigh heavily as she would walk over to sit beside her son and put her arms around him. She wasn't crying but if the boy could read body language at all, he could tell that she was upset and shaken up from the whole incident. She would after what seemed like an eternity lean in towards her son and say slowly fighting tears: "You will have to excuse your father, there is a lot bothering him right now. He means well and he like I love you and your sister so much. He just doesn't want you or your sister to grow up and regret your live choices like he has. He actually was born in the Hidden Stone Village and moved here after an incident occurred. I am sure he would sit down with you and talk about it since you are his son, but please just understand that he and I mean the best for you and your sister. But, I won't hold you here any longer, I know you like to explore the village and you have plenty of daylight still. Please just be home for supper tonight since we are having a nice protein filled meal. You can bring a friend if you'd like."

It was good to hear that the siblings' indecisiveness about which branch to join was okay with their parents, it may have been a pain if they tried to force the medical branch on them. The conversation had gone well, at least that's what Yanjirou thought. From how his caretakers looked, it must have been quite the stressful time for them. At leas they both have white hair, there's nothing left to turn gray! One thing that was a tad irritating, however, was Akujin's attempt to intimidate his children. He warned them that, should they ever betray the village, he would hunt them down like they were witches in Salem.. Whatever Salem was. His little speech didn't really faze the boy, but it did make him wonder why it was something he had to say. Had he really been so busy that he couldn't tell how his own children acted? The boy couldn't really speak for his sister, but he wasn't one that would intentionally do something endangered himself. It simply wasn't in his nature. Only when something interested him enough to cause his eyes to glow would that happen, and that's more like a blackout he remembers...

"No worries father.. You wont ever hear of a betrayal from me." Not even if someone else betrayed the village.. If he spoke up, the traitor might kill him. If he doesn't, the village might kill him. The best thing to do is not get caught, so he would keep to the shadows for the most part. Never be a witness, never be a victim. Soon after his warning was over, Kyuji left the room, with Yanji's sister following suit. His mother was the next to speak, apologizing for what his father had said.

"No worries, I'll be there on time." Yanjirou sighed after his mother left the room as well, what friends did she think he has? His friends are made of leather and paper, not flesh and blood. Silly woman. Oh well, it seemed it was time for him to leave as well. Being cooped up in such a clean room would make him go mad! Nothing to see, nothing to learn after all. Plenty to understand though... He may have to reconsider his view on nothingness.
