Name: Naganori Konno
Age: 11
Gender: Male
Height: 154.5 cm || 5’0 ft
Weight: 45.7 kg || 100.75 lbs
Blood Type: AB
Character's Physical Description:
A boy of smaller stature weighing just barely three digits and standing roughly a handful of feet off the ground. His frame is light and contoured for tone and agility rather than mass and raw muscle. His skin is of a deep pale hue, almost to the point of seemingly unnatural if one were to stare too long. His entire face, back to his ears and even down to the upper portions of his neck, are the exception. A deep searing red discoloration encompasses these areas, the blaring remnants of a tragic attack from his past.
His irises were once a vibrant turquoise, but during the same past incident his retinas were burned as well. His eyes seem completely white unless one is up close to make out the feint silver/grey outline and shading of his corneas and pupils. His hair however is a vibrant yellow blonde hue, inclusive of his eyebrow color as well. His hairstyle a hybrid of a top level pompadour combined with a long single braid that reaches down to his lower back.
As far as apparel, he adorns a burgundy short-sleeved Gi with golden trim and exotic accent around the sleeves. His chest area is left bare and un-layered while a white sash wraps tightly around his waist (also where his forehead protector is located) while the last inches of the Gi flow beneath before ending at his upper thighs. Concerning his lower region, he wears black form fitting shinobi sweat pants that stirrup from the lower shins down to the ankles by way of white wrapping tape. In addition, his feet are housed in black padded open toe sandals while his hand and forearms remain bare.
Character's Mental Description:
The intricate web of his personality stems around his desire to be accepted. Although a broad and general consensus, the focal of the matter specifically is to be accepted by his own Iwagakure brethren. Personal exclusion will rub him the wrong way in any facet, causing him a healthy amount of envy. If excluded by anyone of Iwagakure affiliation, envy would break the fragility of his personal security and be conveyed through a heartbroken anger that can be directed both inwardly and outwardly.
Everything dealing with his behavior is stemmed from this central theme. If unbothered he will be outwardly friendly, subconsciously seeking friendship and acceptance from perfect strangers, feeling obligated to prove himself worthy of others time and regards. This extends out into the battlefield as well, at times putting himself at risk to prove his legitimacy to those who may be allies or even less so. This perpetual insecurity makes him quite vulnerable to the more manipulative and deceitful types of personalities he may come across.
On the matter of the painfully obvious deep red discoloration that encompasses the entirety of his face, towards this he is very sensitive. He is more on the side of acceptance rather than utter depression, and for all intensive purposes he chooses to pretend like it doesn't exist. When others make notions about it, it causes him to become uneasy and embarrassed, even if intentions are well met. He also hates reflections and tends to avoid them if at all possible. For the most part he tries to keep a cool head and a good balance of his internal baggage. But rage at times does get the better of him and causes him to act out of emotion, a short coming he will have to curb if he wishes to be a truly successful ninja.
History:
(Birth)
Unlike most others born in this land, Konno was brought into this world in the presence of not only his native Iwagakurian mother Yokoyama, but also among the likes of his Arcadian father Ono Naganori and his immediate family. His first cries reverberated within a modest villa absent of a Shaman or any testament to the Gods either old or new. His untraditional, unceremonial birth, was of no surprise if one regarded the circumstances of his conception. Yokoyama had fallen in love with an Arcadian of the ceremonial council and their company had been spent in secret between his ascents to Iwagakure. Considered very much alien for his pale skin and his long yellow blonde hair, Ono as he was from a social context, was taboo for any pure Iwagakure woman. Although politically accepting, the social climates of the time dictated otherwise.
(0~5)
Iwagakure had been decided the place for Konno’s domicile origin, but his fathers name as a compromise would be something he’d keep. Konno Naganori would be his full given name, although the entirety of his life within Iwagakure he would be acknowledged only as Konno. From his birth it was evident that he took after his father in appearance, with pale skin and long yellow blonde hair. His journey towards teleos, his mother deemed, would be striving to prove his nativity in the face of his partially Arcadian/alien origins. By age three the realization of his mothers pseudo-prediction came true as she swaddled him from the house for the first time into Iwagakure civilization. Glares of her son’s strong Arcadian features quickly became apparent, and the more stoic denizens began to take offense. Up until his fifth year Konno and his mother dealt with only harsh obscenities and idle threats, but it wasn't until his untraditional birth was discovered that the ignorance of a few would change his life. On a bleak winters night Yokoyama’s home was set ablaze more than likely by those of past vocal displeasure. The fire did not manage to kill them thankfully, but Konno’s entire face had been harshly seared from the heat, turning his face a deep sunburned red.
(6~10)
After the horrific incident Konno’s mother had immediately rushed him to the local shaman who managed to heal and preserve the nerve endings in his face, but they were sadly unable to cure the harsh discoloration of deep red that lingered. It wasn't until Ono’s next ascent from Arcadia with the ceremonial council that he received word of the horror that had befallen his family. Out of concern for his further well being Ono and Yokoyama had agreed to exchange custody and have Konno reside in Arcadia until further notice. As Konno came of age six his father began to teach him the ways of the warrior, or as much as he had gathered from his years spent near Iwagakure shinobi from his duties on the council. Ono’s training lasted for four years, consisting mainly of hand to hand combat, experience, and battle savvy. Neither he or Yokoyama were shinobi and moreover they had no knowledge on the concepts of chakra, but Ono’s goal was at the very least to have his son able to protect himself, even if only with rudimentary techniques. Ono was a realist and understood that he could not be by his son’s side at all times, and as much as the realization pained him, life did not work that way. The best peace of mind he could ever instill, was knowing that his son was capable of his own protection.

After five years living amongst his other half in Arcadia, Konno had learned a lot. The first of many things was the embracement of himself visually. The deep red discolorations from his past left not only a scar on his personal vanity, but a scar on his self confidence as well. However, being amongst the denizens in Arcadia with people of all different shapes and colors, he learned to be accepting of not just the people around him but within his own self. Although still at such a young age, he is not yet completely tranquil with himself. His second homeland however, has him on a good path in that respect. Now at age eleven Konno finds himself ready to return home, ready to return to Iwagakure, to try and live again amongst his native brethren that once denounced him through fire itself. But on this journey back he is armed with the spirit of a warrior laced with a burning desire to prove his Iwagakurian blood despite his contradicting appearance. The only way to accomplish this, in his youthful mind, is to become a shinobi. It would serve to prove not only the validity of his native blood, but also give him a chance to demonstrate his will to embrace and be seen as a true part of his homeland, even if his life is what needs to be staked.
