Ryuutaro has wild, brown hair with singed ends, his tanned face always covered in grease, his eyes stuck in a glare. When he smiles, his face twists into an arrogant smirk. Standing at 140 cm, weighing in at 36 kg, Ryuutaro's build is remarkably average for a boy his age.
Ryuutaro is always seen wearing his trademark jet-black apron (It was white when his father first gave it to him), a and a pair of gloves with vulcanized rubber covering the fingers and palms. Ryuutaro has a fondness tinkering and experimenting with electronics and machinery matched only by his total lack of self-preservation. Filled with an eagerness for experimentation, Ryuutaro will often pursue a course of action that doesn't initially make sense; a firm believer of the old adage: "If at first one does not succeed, Try again." Unfortunately for Ryuutaro, the path of a Shinobi is one with few second chances.

Born during the Diamond Maelstrom, Ryuutaro never saw the sun as a young child. As the first-born son, his parents named him 'Ryuutaro', in the hopes that Ryuutaro would grow into a strong young man, to protect his siblings who would come after him. In the year, PP 221, Ryuutaro's only sister, Taiga is born. His mother, unfortunately, died due to complications.
If one were to ask the neighbors on what they thought of the Nagare household, The first thing they'd mention is their long, long, list of noise complaints; loud bangs coming from the boy's room, always waking up the whole neighborhood right before dawn; the high-pitched beeping of a fire alarm, always during lunch; and the sound of his father's yelling, so frequently that the next-door neighbors of the Nagare household find its near-constant presence as oddly-soothing.
The second thing they'd mention is how the family would always fix things up for them, at most reasonable rates. Oftentimes, the objects they'd fix would work even better when they had first gotten it.
