Jun is a very unassuming individual. A simple boy that enjoys watching the world go by yet feels pressured into his role as a shinobi due to his families failings in life. Students at the ninja academy would have noted that Jun was a very quiet and reserved individual with a keen mind. However he tries to fly under the radar and does not showcase his intelligence. Despite his shy and reserved personality Jun is fiercely loyal and opens up around friends where he becomes much more personable, relaxed and at ease. Opening up to reveal that he often fears that he is carrying a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, causing him stress and self doubt.
History:
Junichi Nakamura was born to the Nakamura family, a family people with big heads and big aspirations. They claim to be one of the oldest families in the Hidden leaf yet possess little to no influence and little to no Chakra control. Due to these reasons many see the family as a bit of a laughing stock, though this reputation is not helped by the family’s patriarch being a loudmouth. Junichi’s mother married into the family upon seeing his father’s lust for life and his aspirations but ultimately has realised that her husband is not the great man she once thought he was. When Junichi was born his mother was brought great happiness once more, and his father was brought another chance for success.
Junichi’s early years were split between his loving mother and his pushy father, his father constantly wanting him to be like the great progenitor of the Nakamura clan. A legendary and likely fake ninja. This desire for his son to be a ninja would see success when it came to pass that Junichi possessed a talent for chakra control, an ability thought lost within his family. It was at this moment Jun’s father pushed him to the academy to become a great ninja. This was something Jun was set against until he learned how happy it made his mother. Although she thought it selfish she told Jun that seeing her son be successful and getting away from his poor name would make her very happy. This is what originally spurred Jun to join the academy.
His time at the academy however was most unremarkable, he did the bare minimum to pass by so that his father did not brand him a failure but he could keep the attention away from himself. Truthfully he had a keen mind but was often reluctant to show it. After passing the academy Jun was assigned the rank of Genin and was to be sorted into a ninja team to continue his training. It would be during this time that Jun would truly forge his identity and decide on his own path in life.
