More then that, she had to be thorough in every step moving forward. She had a target, a man named Doso Nomuro. He was the owner of one the largest multiple casino operations within the Red Lights and she had been ordered to create very large headaches for this man. His unstable nature would cause him to lash out at competition and begin a domino effect that Kana hoped would begin to tear the underground apart from within.
The first step would be proper reconnaissance. Kana would infiltrate the man’s operations from the point of view of a patron, a waitress, and even managing to earn the credentials to sneak in one evening as a card dealer. Which gave her access to places she had never been previously. A lot of the employee areas are what gave access to the true dealing behind the table. The big private games, and where the money from the ‘Front’ end and back end was all stored in a very secure vault below.
Two weeks of time would be spent in preparation. Learning the rotations of guards, the exact layout of every building, and most importantly. The grounds in which she would be stealing from, the vault. It took some precision and trickery, but Kana would manage to sneak her way up to the vault entrance to get an idea of exactly what she had to fight against and work with here.
Nomuro was a man of great wealth and taste, and care about nothing more in this world than making more money. It showed, as every moment of his day was spent hawking over each of his casino’s with rarely a thing ever being missed. Kana would use this to her advantage, playing to the charms of such a man in various ways. As a waitress, she would flirt with him and bring him more alcohol to imbibe. The man had a wife, and no intent to cheat, though she would utilize her feminine wiles and young form to allure the man enough to give her what she needed. Proper voice records were memorized by the Anbu and stored in her mind like a databank. As well as lifting fingerprints from the cups in which she would serve him whiskey. This had to be done not only for the owner, but for the pit boss of each of the three major casinos.
The businessman cared about money, and so he did his best to protect his investments The vault was by far the most secure location in all of Suna, and Kana would have to single handedly break into it. The requirements were four separate voice activated phrases, one from each of the three Casino Heads, and the fourth from Nomuro himself. That wasn’t all though, the fingerprints of all four were required to boot. This would require some serious trickery from Kana.
Pain was not a new concept for the Anbu, but the pain she endured during this mission was unlike any other. After lifting all of the required fingerprints she had the very unfun task of searing the fingerprints onto her own fingers for proper identification purposes. As well as days practicing the voices of each of the different individuals and their particularly annunciations. A few days would pass and with time, practice, and a determination never seen before, Kana would master all she needed to make this job a possibility.
Week Three, the night of the heist. Kana would have to enter as a civilian and quickly cover her face while using the ventilation system to sneak into her desired destinations. The first stop would be the film room, where she would need to knock out two guards. Destroying the footage from this evening and grabbing tapes nearby that had records from the last weeks. Utilizing the false footage, she would cover her tracks so they would have no evidence of the events to transpire. Kana did not believe in leaving witnesses, so sadly, the pair of hired security had to perish this evening. Hiding the bodies inside the ventilation would be a nice present for the mob boss to find later on.
Now with everything in place, she would make her way to the vault and utilize the fingerprints and her practice vocals to open the secure door. A moment of uncertainty washed over the young girl as the vault door would click to unlock, and a small voice chimed over, ‘Access Granted.’ She was in. This was it.
Kana would stack all of the money as quickly as she could into large black bags and again, use the ventilation system to get them safely out of the building and onto the roof. Prior to leaving the vault though, Kana would leave behind something. A single Yellow Rose. The mark of Nomuro’s major competitor. A signal, to potentially start a war to come soon. Meanwhile, Kana would be the one walking away as one of the richest individuals within Suna once again. It would aid in preserving the type of lifestyle she was used to, or perhaps give her means to once again pursue more sinister paths.
Moving the money from the casino roof to a safehouse location took some time, she would leave behind one bag for Uzu at one safehouse before finding a suitable location for her profits. Mission complete, and now she just had to wait for Toushin to locate her and supply her with a new task.
