Name: Nara Ieyasu.
Age: Ten (10).
Physical Description: Nara Ieyasu is a scruffy sort. Small and short - only around 137 centimeters and weighing about 34.0 kilograms. With a bit of obvious baby fat still filling in his face, limbs, and belly. His skin is on the pale side of fair with no visible blemishes on his body save for a small cut on his knee when he tripped and fell at five years old.
His eyes are the customary black of most Nara though appear grayer in the right lighting. His hair is messy, short, and dark with the two front bangs strands being red. Clothing wise he wears a black tee shirt with a black and white jacket over it, a pair of black, baggy, pants, and a pair of black sandals. A matching white and black hat can be seen on his head as well. Which will one day be replaced by his shinobi headband.
Mental Description: Ieyasu is a rather chipper and open-hearted young man. Being raised as the youngest child of his household led to him being babied much in his youth. Because of this, he's rather naive and sheltered with a penchant for tearing up when things get tough. And thus earning his rather "illustrious" nickname of "Crybaby Yasu".
Despite his rather airheaded personality, he is actually quite intelligent with a skill in perceptiveness that has not yet been nurtured. While much of his stupidity tends to be based on ignorance he is skilled in his academics due to his strong mind and quick-wittedness.
As he grows older these traits will grow more elaborate and detailed adding a hint of the cunning edge that lurks behind his sunny disposition. Despite everything, Ieyasu is still a shinobi, born to generations of killers. As such, he too, will one day become someone just as cold-hearted as the rest. However, currently, Ieyasu is an optimistic, kind-hearted, and gullible youth. A sullen soul wracked by sorrow who hides behind a sunny smile. An iron will lurks behind soft skin, as well as something darker... Twisted... What kind of man or monster shall Ieyasu become? That... is to be seen.
History: Ieyasu was born to the famous shadow-manipulating Nara Clan, as the second child of his family's household. His elder brother Issei was a strong-willed and passionate youth who was the envy of those around him. Or so he told his little brother. Having lost their father to battle at a young age - his brother took the role of "patriarch" in the house, aiding their sickly mother who grew ill after the death of their father.
Surrounded by love and affection, Ieyasu lived a simple and leisurely life amongst his mother, brother, and grandparents. Ieyasu looked up to his elder brother and believed he would always be there to protect him when things went rough. So much so that he became a known troublemaker who got into more than he could chew. Often leading to his brother saving him from his own messes.
He grew a bit of an ego and touted around like he was the best due to his status being from the "Genius Nara Clan" and his "super strong big brother!". So, it was quite a shock when his brother didn't come home one night. He was told it was a simple mission, that they'd be back by sunrise. But something was wrong, and the true horror set in when they presented Issei's bloodstained headband.
His mother fell into hysterics while Ieyasu shut down completely. Becoming withdrawn and nearly mute - he locked himself in his room for days. Only coming out when he was told he would be moved to live with his grandparents permanently. His mother... had passed, though they wouldn't explain the cause.
Eventually, he got tired of being wracked by guilt and pain and refused to be a burden anymore. With his chance to become a shinobi possible by joining the academy, he took it with both hands. He wouldn't be a crybaby or a brat anymore. He'd make his family proud - he would survive.

Bloodline/Core ability:
Nara Bloodline
Roleplay Sample:
"Poko~! Get back here!" Under a clear blue sky - shined a valiant sun, bearing down on the forested floor with an intensity only reached during the summer season. Sprawled out on the verdant earth below lay a young boy - no older than five. Heaving a deep sigh as sweat drenched his furrowed brow. Poko was a little squirrel that the teen had nursed to health one terrible winter night - having found it shivering alone in the cold. It was now summer and yet the feisty little thing still refused to warm up to him. It had a penchant for stealing things, little things, that it could get its little grubby paws on. And had recently stolen his hat of all things.
It was mocking him!
"Poko, you stupid rat get back here, NOW!" The youth whined as he sat up from his prone form. Grumbling he stood up as he glared at the tall tree the stupid raccoon hid in. He'd get that dumb rat if it was the last thing he did! Climbing the tree was pointless - he surmised the rodent would just flee faster than he could reach it. Throwing stuff at it was stupid because he didn't want to hurt it! He just wanted his hat back! Besides, he could never hurt his friend! No matter how mean it was! Feeding it wouldn't work, since it JUST ate a stole stash of nuts he had laid out - so that wouldn't work either...
"Mmmmmmm!"
He pouted as he stood and put his thinking cap on. 'Hm... I remember... big brother doing that cool shadow jutsu once....' He thought remembering how he watch Issei train with the "Kage no Mane" as his clan called it. Watching surprised as his shadow stretched out to attach to another person's shadow and bent their movements to his wi- "THAT'S IT! I GOT IT!" He shouted, probably startling the local wildlife in the process. Concentrating he gestured a hand sign as he closed his eyes and pictured the jutsu. Molding his chakra to his whims he focused on his target - his eyes snapping open as the slithering shadow attached to the squirrel's.
"I don't have a lot of chakra so I gotta be quick!" He muttered as he made a gesture to move the creature's paw to remove the hat on its head and toss it away. Seconds later the connection 'snapped' as the rodent looked shocked at what happened. Reacting as quickly as he could he ran towards the slowly falling hat as it fell into his hands. With a grin, he adjusted it on his head before the world began to swim and his head got dizzy. Before collapsing on the forest floor once more...
KAGE MANE NO JUTSU, SUCCESS!
