He is pretty quiet most of the time, spending the majority of the day lying around, daydreaming. He trains as often as he wants really, working hard for a short period of time, then, getting bored, finds something else to do. one of his favorite past times has been puzzles and mental games such as Sudoku, and Chess. However, as of recently, he has been spending a lot of time at the library in the Maple District, absorbing mass amount of knowledge in a short period of time. His curiosity for new thinks has been counteracted by his laziness for a while now, but his desire to know more is slowly compelling him to pursue other endeavors.

His dark hair falls down to about ear length, not too long, not too short. Typically always wearing a dark, ash grey hoodie with an olive green vest over top it, and a white sleeveless surcoat above that, accompanied by his grey battle gloves, black trousers, and black belt and combat boots, rather than the traditional sandals of the shinobi, with his konoha ninja headband, traditional blue clothed, secured loosely around his neck like a kerchief, and a dark, navy blue cloth tied around his left shoulder with the Kagerenmei Clan symbol in white shown proudly. Physically he is a very thin, slender child with nothing out of the ordinary, other than his ears are slightly more pointed at the tips than normal, and his top canine's are slightly sharper and dominant that most. His skin is light tan in color, and he has no visible scars or wounds. all in all, a fairly normal looking young man.

Born and raised in the Leaf Village, Hayato spend the vast majority of his youth wandering the streets and daydreaming, or finishing puzzles others hadn't finished, and almost everynight, helping someone drag his drunken father back to his house, where, like his father, he would sleep soundly through the night, then do it all over again in the morning. A simple life, for the most part. It was His mother, a strong, independent woman, who took care of the family for the most part, and also like his father, that didn't really bother him all that much. Hayato is the middle child of three, and the only son to his father. Although seeing his Dad's life as a simple one, which was something he liked; simplicity, He still had a sense of wanting more, probably inheriting this trait from his mother. Hayato Decided that he would try to make something of his life, and began his practices and training to eventually become a ninja, in hopes he would be accepted to the Academy so he could fulfill this newly inspired dream, but of course, being a bit of a slacker, He is well aware that this would take a while. Hey, good things in life take time, right?
After months of training and studying with his new found friends, Zero, Kasute, and Dansen, Hayato had slowly found new energy he didn't realize he had, and started moving away from his laziness bit by bit, but still, it lingered and held on. He found that many people in the village avoided him, but not everyone. Assuming there was a connection, he went to the library after school, and making friends with a few others; being Reizen, Satsu, Katsumoto, and a girl he found himself infatuated with instantly, Emi, Hayato went to do some research to find out his namesake, and see why people despised him. After doing research and confronting his parents, Hayato found out he was Nara, a family of Shadow users, on his dads side, not his moms, making him only half as quick witted and intelligent, and half as lazy. This new skill would prove useful in his later endeavors and conflicts as he practiced with his blood right.
It wasn't long before war was upon the Leaf, and The Sound village attacked. But the leaf came back with an assault like none other. a force of every shinobi rained down upon the Sound Village, and several of the students, including Hayato and his friends, were involved in a stealth assault on the medical base. Many were hurt, including Hayato, who blacked out and awoke in the Medical Complex back home, only to be told he and his friends had succeeded. The victory would count towards there needed class for graduation, since they did their part well.
Deciding he would rather help then let his friends fall again, Hayato enlisted into training in the Medical Corp, where he read and studied up on all forms of medical knowledge, Toxicology being the one that peaked his interest the most, and, after taking a very risky exam from a very strange set of doctors, Hayato passed and was allowed into the ranks of the Med-nin, told that he did not need to trifle with Medic in Training status, and was ready right away. This didn't sit well with a few doctors at the complex, but Hayato planned to prove himself.
Not too long after had His friend, Satsu, who he had gotten close with, found out his origins, and asked him to be "Herumesu" a Messenger for a clan that on the front dealt with words of peace and prosperity, but preformed acts to "remove" corruption from the world in the shadows. Accepting gratefully, Hayato was now a member of something bigger in the world; an organization meant to keep evil at bay, by any means necessary. Hayato was sent to find candidates as new recruits for the Kagerenmei Clan, and stumbled across a few students that he had taken a liking to, namely Suzume, a lively young girl that Hayato connected very well with, Tsuchi, a sweet young lady with little self confidence at first, but much talent, and Hizoku, a boy that seemed to emit pure darkness. Hayato later decided that Suzume would be his Protege; his "Padawan Learner" in a sense, and all three would be "his team", the ones that he would look after and guide once they graduated.
Not long after choosing the three as his own was he recruited in a team himself, under the lead of one Horosha Akio, a drunk gypsy that Hayato had run into several times before, his good friend, Kuro Reizen, and a boy he had made friends with on a mission they shared, as well as during a strange set of events to bring peace between the Leaf and Sound villages, Kuruchi Hayate. Glad to be part of a team now, Hayato prepared for what was to come.
