The site has returned, it went partially smoothly, a few bumps down the road, but it was a success in the end! And that's what counts.
With the server moved we had the chance to do some really nice things ensuring the forum better usability and more clicks through for example Google searches.
During the course of the following weeks, we'll be doing lots of minor changes here and there, adding and fixing tons of minor things and enabling other matters.
There are at the current moment a minimal amount of bugs still running rampant in the site, links that are missing or is wrong, images that are linked to the wrong place on the server, if you see any of these things, please inform an admin and they will make sure it gets fixed asap.
With this comes more news, pretty big news at that.
Shane, aka Kagutsuchi Ryoma (sometimes Mysticode), has decided after ten exciting and amazing years to give up the site ownership to the current serving Administration Team. Leaving some members with special access to the FTP and direct access to the entire server. This means we’ll be able to do many things without delay, update the site, change settings and fix pretty much anything that might arrive on the Admin table.
In “layman’s” terms. we can switch the banner whenever we need, we can add medals, we can change the theme, we can add modules without delay!
The Administration Team is here for the players and we will maintain the stance of supporting and helping every single player equally.
We, the Administration would like to thank each and every single player personally for sticking with us for as long as you have, may you be from the oldest generation of players now aged, wives, husbands, some even with kids now growing up in a new generation of individuals that had spent their precious time on NC. We want to thank you, the new players joining us only recently entering into a world where old and new meet, where inspiration flows like a river, always changing, shifting. The currents ever flowing.
Ninpocho stays around just as it is, and we will continue to work and strive for improving the experience that is Ninpocho Chronicles.
