Brief Physical Description: Short dark plum hair in a mop-like cut, lighter purple eyes, wears a loose black and gray ninja outfit with tighter fitting black clothes underneath. Roughly four feet tall with a slim build.
Personality: Tatsumi is a relatively quiet kid, though it's more apathy than shyness. Due to constant scoldings from his dad, he believes himself to not have much worth and no future, so he doesn't try very hard unless there is something to make the effort worthwhile. It is rare to see him smile, though talking about exploring or treasure has been known to cause the reaction. Fighting is very low on his priorities list, instead preferring to walk away and not have to deal with whatever arguments arise. He has a habit of covering his eyes with his bangs if the light gets too bright, as he's used to living and traveling in dark places, or if he gets too embarassed.
History: Tatsumi and his parents don't get along. To avoid fights with them, he often wandered off to explore the cave systems nearby. His family is part of the lower class in Kirigakure, which led to Tatsumi's drunkard of a father trying to push his son into getting some kind of job, which ultimately led to Tatsumi enrolling in the ninja academy. Tatsumi, however, had little interest in becoming a ninja or advancing through the ranks for any reason other than learning how to be stealthy so he could explore more places without getting caught and sent back to his father. His mother occasionally shows affection for Tatsumi, but is generally too busy trying to keep the house from falling apart to pay him much mind. At one point he wanted to run away from the village to go live with his aunt Nearu Supiruka, but she vanished with her friend days before he was ready to go. He still holds out hope that he will find out where she lives and will be able to join up with her at some point. Lately Tatsumi has taken an interest in learning ninjutsu and genjutsu that will help him be able to sneak in and out of his house, and potentially the village, should he discover Supiruka's whereabouts, as well as developing information gathering skills to aid his search. Tatsumi's dad, if he's even noticed, attributes it to Tatsumi simply wanting to become a member of the ANBU, which may or may not be true.
