Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Just one. Just one time Osu would like to leave the village for a fishing trip, make it to his destination, and actually enjoy his time fishing and camping, before coming home. Without anything or anyone trying to kill or kidnap him. He knew that for some reason that was a lot to ask for but out of... what 4 vacations now none of them had gone very well... But just once he would like to go to a warm, but not too hot island and fish in peace. that and... well no reason to get into other reasons he may be escaping for just a few days. Just a few without the chaos that was...

That aside, he needed the break and waited eagerly for someone to check him for departure... To be honest it was amazing they weren't sending an armed guard with him after what happened last time but he really just wanted a little alone time after nearly 5 years since he last had time to himself.

There was no getting around it, Yuii was hiding. She didn't want to go back to her office and face the continuously building mess that was her branch. How had Ayumu managed to find the time to date, let alone procreate with so much responsibility!? She wanted to pretend she was still a Jounin, with easy, mundane jobs and life risking missions that paid enough to live a comfortable life but actually gave a person free time.

So that's what she did. Yuii found the most boring job she could imagine in the village, donned a not so great disguise of a hat and sunglasses then got to stamping passports. Guard duty was, after all, the shinobi's version of street sweeping. Of course, everyone knew who she was, but they were all far too polite to not go along with her awful charade.

And so it was the not sneaky Yuii who met Osu on his way out of the village and an incredibly nervous Yuii who stamped his passport and signalled that Osu could leave. For the sake of disguise, he was saved the exclamation and lecture about "using up vacation days" because she wasn't Yuii, and only Yuii knew about the dwindling availability of time off. Damnit Kounin.

Osu felt like he should say something... Anything really... Like why was the Main Branch Sennin handling gate duty, wearing that strange disguise, not simply using a transformation to disguise herself etc. But at the same time he felt like he would lose if he did for some reason.

So Osu nodded without a word towards Yuii with many questions in his heart, but none of them destined to break this silent moment. No, instead he was going to go fishing and actually catch a fish dammit.
