All of the Site Rules are pertinent to new players, and in addition the Ultimate Battle Rules Compilation and the sections on Bloodlines and Core Abilities are important to begin understanding how those two systems work on NC.
Be especially mindful of the rules pertaining to usernames. There is a Name Change Request thread to change it if need be, which can be done after you put up the creation application but the request must be submitted before it can be accepted.
