Name: Nezumo Temekono
Age: 10
Physical Description: A slightly dirty boy, standing around 4'3 with what passes for clothes amongst the poorer caste in the cities - Practically rags, washed rags, but rags nonetheless, old and decrepit as if they've never been changed except to be scrubbed. His features reminds one much like a mouse's - A pale, freckled complexion, with a small nose and wide cheeks, and a short brow. He bears magenta red-orange eyes that twinkle with curiosity and mischief, and his physique show the telltale signs of previous malnutrition.
Mental Description: The boy is, first and foremost, and opportunist - If he see something he can take advantage of immediately, he tends to follow the impulse. Whether it would be a loose coin sack on a merchant's belt, or a fresh loaf of bread tossed in the garbage by a baker with excess food, it doesn't really matter the opportunity - He doesn't dare let it escape. This of course tends to cause him a lot of trouble. Besides this, he is often kind to others, difficult to anger (of which most of it becomes pouting), and totally carefree, letting the winds of fate take him wherever it drags him along.
History: Nezumo Temekono is the sole son of a poor merchant father buying vegetables from local farms and carting them from town to town - He was born out of an accident, the mother refusing to care for him, and the parents quickly split. Feeding a child when you're already scraping by on money is difficult, but his father managed to weather the tribulations, and the boy would grow up. Growing up with no fortune, the little lad would help his father where he could, and beg on the streets to help the two get by. He acquired an odd affinity for the small rodents that would dart from alleys, or from the ones that would pop out of a hole in the sands, and whenever he had the spare money - Whether that would be from petty opportunistic thievery or otherwise - He'd scrounge up extra scraps of food to feed the small animals, and they always tended to enjoy his company. The boy was nimble and slippery, and any time he was caught for his offenses, he'd always find a way to weasel his way out, whether it'd be by running or fast talking - Without fail. The academy saw some sort of potential in the child, and brought him in - Nezumo Temekono being certainly grateful for the opportunity to not need to dig out of the trash for food any longer.
