Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yumeko walked throughout the village and had eventually reached the Colosseum. She sat in the seats of the empty Colosseum. She didn't know if anyone would have answered any of the flyers she had put up around the village, but then again, she didn't put too many of them up. She waited in one of the lower seats as she waited for a challenger to arrive.

The Kyoujouran walked the streets of Kumogakure, wondering what he could do for fun in this village. It's been quite a while since he's lived in a shinobi village, so he forgot what shinobi did in their free time. Ahead of himself two shinobi seemed to be discussing a spar, but they decided against it due to not being skilled enough to succeed in such a task. One of them crumpled up a paper and threw it behind themselves, and it rolled over to his feet. A spar sounded like it could be fun. So he picked up the paper and called out to the others, asking about the location and made his way there.

He's never been to the Vespasian Colosseum before, but it reminded him of the Konoha colosseum. Thinking back, he didn't remember being in that one too often either. Perhaps if he had the use of his eyes he would be able to compare the look of the stadium as well.

He walked out around the center of the arena and called out to whoever would be listening.

"Rakujo Yumeko! If you're in the stands, I challenge you to a friendly spar!"

He hoped his opponent would be in the colosseum so as not to embarrass himself calling out to an empty stadium. He wondered what type of fighter she would be...

There were times when a person felt the urge to just lose himself in one's emotions and stop thinking. In those the weak would resort to alcohol or other forms of drugs to flee the harshness of reality, while others would detach in meditation to strengthen one's innermost self. And then there was the type that rarely thought, barely had any emotions and never needed a break from reality. Senka was of that type; which meant that the previous was a completely unrelated introduction to the matter at hand.

The fact was that Senka hid in the shadows, in the middle of the day, and tailed her foster-father as he walked through the village apparently with no aim. She snickered, to hide her insecurity in not knowing whether Kurogane was aware of her presence or not; he would rarely say, but he never appeared surprised upon seeing her in a normally unexpected location. She hoped to finally surprise him for once, and followed him by keeping off the floor for as much as possible.

Seeing as he walked the streets with no plan in mind, Senka could take the opportunity to learn more about the layout of the village, even if she had been there for almost a whole year. On the one hand, she was happy to be able to see more of the scenery; on the other hand, she frowned at the fact that her foster-father appeared to be a deadbeat after learning that his previous line of work would not earn him anything. However, as a stalker herself, she was like the pot calling the kettle black; something she was blissfully unaware of.

Interestingly, he appeared to have found a meaning in his stroll through the village, as he picked up a dropped flier and suddenly started to go in a definite direction. As far as she could tell, it was the general direction of the Vespasian Colosseum, a destination she had not expected Kurogane to go into for any other reason than to round it.

"And you preach pacifism... yet you're going to fight?"

With these thoughts, Senka jumped across the rooftops, belying her otherwise feeble appearance, as she displayed great agility and exceptional balance, and soundlessly followed Kurogane to the fighting grounds. However, as he entered through the participants gate, she climbed the exterior while cloaking herself; a doll-like creature with seams all over its body climbing up the tall outside wall of the coliseum would surely cause people to panic.

As she came up at the stands, her ears just barely caught the end of the shout-out towards the ranks of the audience - which were empty save for a single person; the woman who had appeared at the gate in two instances, both times telling Senka how to do her job simply because posting order allowed for her to go first. Gritting her teeth lightly at the presence of that person, the stitched up girl wondered if she was actually the one going to fight her foster-father.

"Oh, this will be good~"

As Yumeko sat in the stands, she wondered if anyone would ever take her on with her challenge she put up around the village. She would soon sigh before looking up at the sky. Though soon after she did, she would hear someone call her name and soon challenge her to a friendly spar. She smirked for a moment before standing up and walking to the wall, in which she would then step onto and then jump down, landing next to the inner wall of the Colosseum.

She would then start to take a few steps towards the man who seemed to be the challenger for her. As she stopped walking closer to the man, a few meters from him before speaking. "Since you know my name, it would only be polite of you to share your own." She said, as a small gust had caused her white hair and the maid outfit she wore, to flutter slightly in the wind.

"Also, just because this is a friendly spar, as you've called it... doesn't mean I won't hold back." She said, should he have given her his name or not. She would soon activate her Sanryoukyougan and doing a few hand seals to start up her setup for this spar. After a quick moment, her body would be surrounded by a veil of some sort of mist. She soon waited for the man to come at her, not expecting him to hold back either.

Soon after he called out to his opponent, she made herself known, jumping down from the stands and making her way to him. A few steps in front of him she asked for his name, to which he replied with a smile. "My name's Iwakajiya Kurogane." He felt nothing else had to be aggregated to that.

She also made it known that she was not planning on holding back, which the Kyoujouran expected. He didn't plan on going all out however, and decided to start slowly, by pulling out his self-made training gloves from his pocket and putting them on. "Well, don't expect me to use my full strength. I don't want to put you in the hospital or anything. This is more of a training session to me..." He grinned and felt a chill settle around Yumeko. He couldn't exactly tell what the chill was, but he expected it must be necessary in some way if she decided to open with that. His response was to rush forward and attempt to land a one-two punch on her, sensing her through the ground, though he was prepared for a counterattack from her. He had to test her and see what kind of fighter she was before stepping it up.

Yumeko watched Kurogane as he introduced himself and soon spoke once more after pulling out some gloves and put them on. He wasn't planning on using his full strength after she told him not to hold back. She qould quickly grab one of two daggers that were holstered to her leg as Kurogane had moved towards her with some sort of an attack. Though the mist she surrounded herself with was of her specialty. Poison. Though she didn't know if it would effect him too much or not, though she would keep it active to see.

As he moved closer to her, she would get ready to stop the mans incoming punch with a single punch of her own, as her body quickly became harder than steel. Though should anyone who would be watching her, could see that her skin had become a shiny chrome color.

Once Kurogane had finished his attack, Yumeko would soon move back quickly, quickly deactivated the technique that allowed her to make her body harder than steel, and slashed in front of her as she moved to the point where her slash would be toward everything as she appeared a few feet behind Kurogane. "I told you not to hold back, because I won't be doing so." She said, before turning around and exhaling a Black Fog in Kurogane's direction.

After she had done so, she would once again make her body to become stronger than steel. "Don't worry about putting me into the hospital..." She said, smirking slightly.

Yumeko's mist didn't seem to initially affect the Kyoujouran, but her fist did. His punch was countered by a steel fist of her own. Kurogane comically pulled back his hand and shook away the pain, adding a noise to display the ache. It was then he began to notice the air around him seemed to be contaminated. He felt a bit of pain growing inside him. Immediately, he jumped back out of the mist and prepared for the coming attack from his opponent. She appeared to do the same.

So she uses poison and some sort of steel ability... Hmm...

She then rushed forward at a speed Kurogane probably wouldn't be able to follow with his eyes, had he the use of them. Her attacks appeared to have landed, though upon second inspection one would see that the Kurogane that was hit by them was actually made out of mud, the real Kurogane standing nearby, preparing his counterattack.

His fists slammed against the ground*, creating a small earthquake radially around him. Whether this worked or not, he would harden his muscles and focus his chakra on the earth around them**. He would contrast Yumeko's steel armor with his stone one.

"Let me show you how tough rocks can be, compared to your steel! *cough*" That poison seemed to have damaged something within him. He would have to relax in a hot spring or something to work that off after the spar...
