Character's Physical Description:
Character's Mental Description: To those who don't really know her she would appear like a very cheery person, who finds a way to have fun in anything and everything she does.It is also quite rare for her to show feeling apart from happiness, even if she actually isn't happy at all. Only a very select few actually know the truth of it all (namely that she is just manic).
TL;DR Old character. Fairly messed up in the head, believing Fate is a living being and setting out to try and kill it. Had an obsession with her brother bordering the lines of having a brother complex. The insanity wouldn't manifest in any real way other than being stupidly cheery and as mentioned above. Stalking included if she finds someone interesting and there exists the possibility of going full Yandere when Kazuki is concerned.

Don't look at me like that. I'm just a normal human being. That is as normal as humans go. We all have our eccentricities our own ''style''. Then again what would you know about that? There are those who can see you and then there are those who can feel you, but to many you just don't exist. All I do is make the latter the truth you see. I don't mind if people don't understand that, but that is how it goes. Kill or be killed. Who I am you ask? I can tell you. I don't see a reason why not to really. After all you won't really live to tell the tale now till you. Try to make yourself comfortable, Oni-dono. That is if you can with a blade on your throat. Guess you will just have to bear with it Hahahahaha.
My name is Senju Natsuru, a demon hunter from a family of demon hunters. That part you already know, but there is so much more to that then you would think. You see you need power to be able to fight your kind. Because of that weaklings are shunned and even killed off sometimes to maintain a certain level of power in the clan. Rivalry and hate is an occurrence which happens often, but it even exists between parents and children. That is why a law was created – No Senju may kill another Senju unless that law is broken. As much as that helped it still didn't stop hate and abuse. I was born in a family which attempted to escape the fate of the Senju. They attempted to hide what we are from my brother, but alas it was useless and scarred him greatly. Was it they found their error or my luck is just the worst I don't know, but the result was the same Hahahahaha. They went back into the traditions and abused me. After all I wasn't strong like my brother was. No quite the opposite. I had no talent for anything whatsoever. Or at least it was so in their eyes. Now I have proven otherwise, but back then I could do absolutely nothing. A kid can't really stand up against her parents. Pain, suffering, hate. I've known those things since I was a toddler. Now that I think about it I need to thank them. It is their actions that made me into what I am now. If they had been better parents maybe, just maybe you would be free to do whatever you want now. Alas there is no point in thinking about that now since we must face reality.
As previously stated I used to be weak. Beyond that I was pittiful, but I trained and trained until my limbs bled and my bones cracked. No matter what I did it was never enough. Even once I was one of the top of the academy it wasn't enough. It wasn't all that bad once I reached the academy. There I found companions and nuisances. Mana and Reika were my first real friends outside the clan. They understood who I was and each in her own way was the same as me. Be it through sheer expectations or just being different. Then there was Shida who to this day continues to pester me and attempt to spread false rumours about me. Ah it always makes me laugh when I think about how many times i've beat him up for being an idiot. Hahahaha those were the times, but soon those times just came to an end. The academy was over and I became a genin. Nothing special yes, but for me it meant really something. That was when I found something out. Hahahaha Did you know that the human mind is a very fragile thing? It can only take so much abuse and hate before it just warps, changed, breaks. It doesn't matter which one you chose the end result is the same. Just a few days after I graduated I had a huge argument with my ''parents''. I still barely remember that year. Everything I do remember is because either my uncle or brother have told me about it. It is just a blank area where I did nothing, absolutely nothing. They both feared I was done for, my mind lost. Thankfully it didn't turn out that way, no. Actually it turned out quite nicely. I found my purpose and found my power. I knew I had to hunt your leader down. I knew I had to hunt Fate down. It was all so simple.
During that time I received my claws, a weapon I still love but rarely use. At least the likes of you will never make me use it. My brother blames himself that he failed when installing the device. Sure it is quite messy, but I love it. I can still see the regret and guilt in his eyes whenever he looks at me. It sometimes disgusts me, but hey no matter. It is nothing to care much about. He attempted to fix his mistake by teaching me to use all different types of weapons, most of which I perfected and surpassed him at. Weaponry was just something I was good at. Be it swords, daggers or even claws it was all the same. I took it up and practised it. My mind completely blank at that point I did nothing but train until I passed out. I was like that for close to an year. We had moved in with our uncle Tadao a bit after my mind had broken, but it wasn't the reason why I came back, no. I found my purpose only after we found out his secret. Only when we found out he had failed to defeat one of you.
One day he just went berserk during a training session. He attacked Kazuki and me with eveything he had. I still remember how the first feeling that came back to me was fear. Pure horror at what was happening. The image of my uncle covered in demonic chakra is still etched into my mind. When I was young I had always felt there was something dark in him, something evil, but I was a child and thought nothing of it. At that time the light slowly came back. The darkness that filled my mind came back slowly. During that fight I regained a bit of what I used to be. Most of it was lost, but some remained. It was at that time that I first really tapped into the powers described later by my uncle as those of a temple guardian, someone who uses the divine light to fight off demons. I remember none of this, but this is what my uncle and brother have told me I did. The sword I had been using to fend of my uncle apparently started emitting silver chakra and made the demonic chakra disappear once it hit. Kazuki also said he felt a calming aura. Those are abilities I know how to use now, but back then I had just barely tapped into it. From that point on my mind slowly but surely started clearing up. My thoughts cleared and I found my purpose in life - to hunt down your master, Fate.
Not too long after that I began training in medical ninjutsu. It wasn't because I was drawn to it, but because I could do nothing else. The injuries I sustained during the battle with my uncle and the one from the modification left me unfit for physical training and weapons training for a long time. It came to a surprise to find out I actually had a knack for medical ninjutsu unlike most other ninjutsu. Months of training I finished in a matter of weeks and soon I became a medical ninja. Even if I actually was a fast learner Mana was a lot faster than me. After all she became a Sennin and I am still a medical ninja, well not quite though. I became a Sec Ops Medic. Yes I still am a medical ninja, but my duties lie with the Intelligence department more than with the Siren Hospital even though I still continue to assist there as much as I can. After all it is one of the few places where I can work alongside somebody I consider a friend.
That is it for my powerless periods really. At the age of 16 I went through the initiation and became a full member of the Senju clan. I learned more about who we are and what we do than i had ever even imagined. Though that was not all. I lost the pigment in my skin and hair. I was once normal, but now I am quite close to being an albino. Alas that is nothing compared to the addiction. You become obsessed with power. You crave it you need to obtain it at any cost. Many Senju lose their mind at that point , but me that didn't affect at all. After all my mind was already broken to begin with. It mattered not that I craved power, because i already did beforehand. Soon after that I had a battle with my cousin, Yusei. He showed me how much more training I had to do. How behind I was and how much more work i needed to do. It wasn't something I easily forgot and it was one of the reasons I barely use my augments now. There is just no need for that.
I wonder why am I actually telling you this? Do I want to make you feel something towards me? Do I want to play on your mind? I don't know. One thing is for sure though - you won't really have the time to even consider what I told you. I'm sorry, but this is the end of the line. Good bye. " A large stream of blood shot out of the wound on the creatures neck. Life quickly left it's already dead eyes and soon darkness took over. Even if it's vision was gone the cold, cheerful laughter of the woman filled its' ears.

Old History Continued
Natsuru:
”There is still no trace of the Sanryoukyougan nor even any affinity towards earth, let alone metal, dear. It seems she may really be just a disappointment, a disgrace.” Natsurus' mother said calmly without even wavering when calling her out with such cruel words. Words that are beyond painful for a child. Words that scar someone forever. ”Why couldn't you be more like your brother? He had already shown many signs by this time! You are just a weakling, garbage, a waste of space! Why did you have to be born into the Senju family? It disgusts me to be your father.” Her fathers' cold voice filled the surroundings. The young girls' tears silently hit the floor as she just sat there. She didn't try to talk back she didn't even try to move. There wasn't a point. Where could she go other than here? She had nobody else, not yet at least. Natsu had tried very hard. She practised every day for hours on end, but nothing made the difference. Maybe she deserved this, maybe she really was just nothing, just a weakling.
Her fathers' hand flew up and hit her cheek.”Look me in the eyes when I am talking to you brat! Don't you even dare look away! Who do you think you are! Ungrateful brat.” A small stream of blood ran down the corner of her mouth. Tears continued to flow down her cheeks. Yes, maybe she was just trash as they said. Guess there wasn't much to do. 'No!' The single word rang in her head. She looked up once more. Her eyes met those of her father. The girl grinned as if from ear to ear and laughed as loud as her lungs would let her. The maniacal laughter resonated off the walls and filled the room. Fear spread over his face and he took a step back. He was a shinobi as well and a Senju nevertheless he was afraid. It was irrational, but it was there.
The reason you ask? Natsurus' eyes then were completely empty as if dead, there wasn't any sign of anger or even hate. She didn't show any sign of any feelings apart from that laughter and grin. It was as if the little girl standing in front of him was no longer there. As if she was dead, lost in madness. His hand reached out towards her subconsciously. He wanted to touch her, make sure she was still there. The laughter just continued as if it was endless, but as soon as his hand was close to the little girl it suddenly stopped. Silence filled the room as she jumped up and backwards. ”Don't touch me. Why should I be trash just because you say so? Don't make me laugh.” Natsuru said with a cold voice, filled with a maniacal, insane cheeriness. It was as if she was enjoying everything, as if every second was filled with laughter for her and it was also filled with a reason for her to smile. Natsu turned on her heels and opened the door behind her before just walking out, still laughing quietly, leaving her parents completely speechless. Maybe they had gone too far even if she was powerless. Maybe they had created a monster. It was too late now. Far, far too late.
Natsu didn't know how long it had been since she walked out of that door. All she knew now was the grass beneath her aching feet and the tree she was leaning on. Her tears had long since stopped and even if she continued to cry no tears came. 'Weird isn't it? Ah well' She thought and looked up at the sky. A unrestrained laughter left her lips once more. Destiny was just evil sometimes. It doesn't matter who you are before it, but it does what it wishes. 'Hah who cares about that. I just have to find and kill that destiny. That will solve it all. I just need to find it and kill it! Hahahahahaha.' She leaned back on the tree even more as her head rested against it. The laughter had stopped, but the insane, cheerful grin still remained on her face. It was weird what sometimes happened really.
Kazuku:
Kazuki had just entered his home when he heard voices coming from the living room. While those talking weren't shouting, the 17 year old ANBU clearly felt the tension in the air. Something serious and alarming was happening. Maybe his parents were arguing as any couple could, maybe they were fighting with her sister. Nothing indicated which option could be, however, the Tsuchimikado was willing to bet that it was the second case. Their behavior toward himself had been nothing but a total disgrace and since Natsuru had shown no signs of activating her Sanryoukyougan, Kazuki believed that they would see it as a sign of weakness, even though they had showed no desire in sharing that heritage to Kazuki, to begin with. The silvery haired boy stealthily approached the room, stopping at the door, eavesdropping the conversation. To his disgust, his assumptions proved to be correct, their parents were admonishing Natsuru and their words were harsh as it could be. The Senju shook his head in total disbelief, not wanting to believe in what he was hearing and to his greater surprise, Natsuru's final reaction also shocked him. She was laughing, a demented laughter. She had lost it apparently, and their parents were to be blamed. Sensing that she was leaving the room, the Caucasian boy quickly exited the house, hiding himself from plain view, guessing that she would storm off to be alone and cope with what she was feeling. Again, he was correct as Natsuru hastily left their house and went away, clearly having no true destination and the Tsuchimikado kept following her. Eventually she stopped and did Kazuki. The ANBU watched as she leaned toward a tree and finally stopped laughing. It was his cue to intervene.
The Tsuchimikado's appearance had changed drastically after the Joining. One year later and he was no longer the same, mentally and physically. While the first change was due to the Joining, the second had been provoked by Kazuki. No longer he had black hair that sticks upward at the top, being replaced by a silvery coloration. His skin was as pale as ever, yet, he still remained as fighting fit, perhaps even more now. Dressed with is usual black and gray robe with silvery trimmings and an open colar, along with a large, red, flowing toga drapped around his body and across his chest. Accompanying that he his two swords on his back, one with a silvery hilt with a large sapphire and the other with a black hilt with a large ruby. His face showed no emotions and his Onyx-like eyes were fixed on his sister. The silvery haired boy opened up his mouth and the word "Sister" echoed, being carried by the wind so that it could reach Natsuru's ears.
Natsuru:
'Hahahahahaha! It is as simple as that. Just kill fate. Nothing else will stop me. Just kill fate! Hahahahahaha!' Her own mind laughed maniacally. It was all as it should be. She was at peace now. It didn't matter what they said. It didn't matter what any of them said. Nobody! Her eyes wandered up to the starry night sky once more. A single tear ran down her face once more, but this one was different. It was warmer, unnatural, more what it should be. Her hand rose up and wiped it off of her chin just before it fell on the ground. "This seems more right." Natsu whispered to herself when she saw it wasn't a normal tear, no it was a tear of blood. A single tear shed to reflect her own state of mind. The girl no longer held what she did before. Her sadness was gone now. All that was left was nothingness, all the more fitting for a tear of blood, for she no longer had no normal tears to shed. A sigh escaped her lips and she licked the bloody tear off her finger before closing her eyes. Why was it she felt so calm now? Was it that she found out that nothing mattered or was it that she knew what she had to do? Just kill the demonic servants of fate and it was all there had to be.
A familiar voice reached her in the darkness and she turned her face to its' source- her brother. Did he want to try and make fun of her. Hah it wouldn't matter. She no longer cared about that. "Ah Onii-chan. Welcome home. The night is quite beautiful today isn't it?" Natsuru asked him with a large grin. Her tone remained the same as it had been when she talked before. It didn't matter what it had been once. Now she knew what had to be done and that was all there was to it really. Maybe it was this state of mind those fools wanted her to find? Who knew nor did it matter. 'The darkness is really splendid today isn't it? It's perfect for hunting Fate. Yes, yes it is indeed. Hahahahaha!' Her thoughts continued as she relaxed her head against the tree once more with a quiet chuckle. Her eyes wandered up to the starry sky once more. "Say, onii-chan, is bloodline the only way to get power?" Natsu asked him without moving as she continued to stare into the sky.
Kazuki:
Kazuki stood there in silence after his words had been carried away. He heard her whispering, yet, the words were barely audible. He did noticed that she had wiped off one single tear from her cheek. Laughing and crying couldn't be a good indication of her mental stability. Something had to be done and quickly, if there was any hope of restoring her, of retrieving her from the clutches of insanity. The ANBU move forward, only a few steps, just the necessary amount so that his sight could counter the effects of nightfall. He need all of his senses now and he needed them in 100% capacity. Still with a neutral expression, the Tsuchimikado scanned the surroundings with his special doujutsu, checking for any supernatural activities as it was expected and as he enjoyed doing it. At the same time, he listened as Natsuru greeted him and something about her words and about her voice was off to the Caucasian boy. "The night is as usual. You're the one that is different Sister." the White Wolf calmly noted as he moved forward once again. "And I wonder what you're thinking right now." he thought. "Of course not Sister." Kazuki quickly replied as he sat beside her. "Power can come from many different sources, having a bloodline is just one of those. I share the same bloodline as our parents, despite how much they dislike it so, and I also share it with our Uncle. That doesn't make me powerful, it is simply a tool that will help me achieve power. With sufficient training, anyone can be powerful. I'm digressing now, why do you ask? What happened?" the Tsuchimikado questioned, concern overwhelmed his voice.
Natsuru:
"I am different? Maybe maybe. Rightfully so yes, yes. I just know what I have to do now. It is all just clear. Maybe that is why." She said and her grin never left her face even for a second. Natsu wasn't really different. No, no it was just that she found herself, found what she needed to do. 'I need power to do it. I can't do it now. No, no I need to attain power. Hahahahahaha' Her mind continued it's maniacal laughter although she didn't let it escape her lips. It didn't matter much though, because no matter how you looked at her now it seemed as if she was laughing, laughing at life, laughing at pain, laughing at misfortune. It was all one big joke, everything was. Why hadn't she thought of this eariler? It was the best, yes it was indeed. It was as it should be, as it should have been.
"Hahahaha Ah they dislike it? Interesting. Strange. It seems as if they love it really. Hahaha Why else would they attempt to break what is not there anymore otherwise?." She continued to chuckle throughout the entire time. It seemed as if she was enjoying everything, as if everything was fun and in place. At least it was no in her mind. "Why I need power? It's simple really Hahahahehehe I need to go hunting. I just need to go hunt Fate down and then everything will be completely as it should. Yes, yes it will be Hahahahaha."
Natsu turned to face Kazuki once more. It was interesting to see him shown concern. It was funny, but then again everything was. Just as the chuckle had been here up until now she suddenly stopped. The girls grin disappeared, leaving her voice and face completely emotionless, deadly serious. "Training isn't the only way is it? If it was there would be no point. It yields the same result no matter how much yours body aches or your hands and feet bleed - nothing. Just nothing. Weird how strength is just natural to some and others who work hard all their lives barely have any. Interesting isn't it? But you wouldn't know that." She finished her sentence just before her grin returned once more. The girl looked up at the sky once more as her mind filled with laughter.
Kazuki:
Natsusu's answers seemed to come from a lunatic instead of her Sister. She kept laughing silently as if she couldn't stop it. Was she out of control? Kazuki was aware of what had happened, something had triggered such transformation, did their parents do something more than mere words? Or those harsh and cruel words had been enough? So wrong were them, Senju were really focused on power, but loyalty to the clan was paramount, loyalty to family was everything. She was yet too young for the Joining, she was still growing, she had time to develop her powers. The search for more power was a secondary effect of the Joining, they knew it, the White Wolf knew it. They were foolish beyond belief. The ANBU visibly sighed. Was Natsuru beyond any help now? "Sister, you're being as foolish as our parents are. You're talking about what you don't know, but ignorance won't justify everything. Listen to me. As I said before, both our parents have the Tsuchimikado bloodline limit. I've inherited it from them, however, they didn't want it to happen and so they chose to left me in the dark about it. You can't imagine what seeing ghosts and other supernatural creatures will do a kid's mind. They didn't want me to have their lives as Monster Hunters, a job that runs in the family of ours. I can't forgive them for letting me suffer like that." Kazuki stated as he looked to nowhere. "I've heard your conversation with them. The last one that is and you have to ignore them Sister. If you're willing to listen to someone, listen to me. Trust me. It seems that what they did to me, changed them, so they are doing exactly the opposite to you. It doesn't matter if you have the same bloodline or not. Personal power is much more than that. I've seen how well you fight with weapons, your skill can only improve if you keep training. And believe in me when I say, there is no such thing as fate. My actions are my own, your actions are your own." the White Wolf declared as he raised his sight and locked it on Natsuru.
And to his surprise she was staring back and she seemed to lost all the laughter in the world. Instead, she was calm, emotionless even, which could be even worse. "You're wrong. There are shortcuts you can take, ways that will increase your power in a short timespan than normal. However, these are dangerous roads to tread. Training can, and will improve you, it just takes more time. But tell me, what do I know not?" Kazuki questioned her. Without warning, the Tsuchimikado leaped to his feet and with one quick and fluid motion, the sword with the large ruby found itself being gripped by the ANBU's right hand. A second later, Kazuki had stabbed the tree near them and it suddenly vanished, being replaced by a cloud of Ash. The tree had been incinerated from within. "Tell me Sister, what do I know not?" he questioned her again. If Natsuru was to look toward Kazuki, she would surely notice that her brother's eyes had turned into rubies and that was a bad sign for her.
Natsuru:
"Oh Fate exists. All the demons in the world are it's minions. I just need to kill them until I finally find Fate and kill him. Simple enough, right? Hahahaha" Natsu shook her head in disappointment. How wouldn't her brother know about Fate? It was strange. Maybe he was hiding him from her. Yes, yes maybe he was trying to protect her from him. Ah how weak she must really be. No matter she could wait for patience is virtue, yes, yes it is. "I know they hunt the servants of Fate. How couldn't I? Hahahaha After all that is all they talked about, but I don't care what they do. No I just want to kill him from my own volition. It seems fun hahahaha." She found it funny that she wanted to do what they wanted from her. Far more than funny really, hilarious more like it. Natsu just wanted to have some fun hunting Fate down really, nothing more "Why would I want power just because they say so? It's funny really. I just think it will be fun. Hunting him down that is" The girl smiled at her brother.
"Danger seems fun you know. Hahahahaha Why bother just training when both taking the shortcut and training is more interesting? Guess having the power since birth does mean a shortcut doesn't it, onii-chan?" Natsuru laughed slightly louder than before and didn't even flinch as the tree just disappeared behind her. After all it didn't matter to her at all whether something was there or not. All that mattered was having some fun. She jumped up on her feet and picked out a large, sturdy branch from the ground to lean on. "It is our nature to seek those shortcuts for we are or were humans after all." The girl stared at her brother and her grin grew ever so wide as soon as she saw his eyes. It was that which helped her see what she really wanted to find. Those eyes were the reason she found her path. Oh how beautiful the glow seemed, surrounded by all this heavenly darkness. It was absolutely beautiful. "So that is what it looks like. Hmmm not quite what I thought it would be. Hahaha not the eyes of a hunter are they, no. Fate would just run from the glow as soon as it appears. A hunter needs a weapon, which can easily be concealed, something which he will not expect, yes, yes. I wonder does he actually feel fear? No no impossible after all even I don't remember what it was anymore." She started her monologue. It didn't seem as if she was talking to her brother it was more like she was talking to herself than anything else. "Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu. All beautiful sources of fun, but I only have one unlike you, onii-chan. I can't use Genjutsu and I can use barely any Ninjutsu. Taijutsu is my main source of fun really. I don't regret it, no. Hahahahaha after all it is far too much fun. Sure you can blow somebody up or completely break their mind, but that doesn't beat the satisfaction of feeling the impact of a weapon, no, no it doesn't. I guess you know the pleasures of all those, don't you onii-chan? After all you are not just confined to one like me. Natsuru's grin grew even larger as her imagination wandered to what she could do to Fates' minions. Ah that would be so much fun, but how much more fun would it be if she had more power. Her grin disappeared once more and she stared deep into her brothers' eyes. "Say, onii-chan. You know a shortcut don't you? I know you do! Yes, yes you do! Tell me, please. Hey, hey tell me, onii-chan." The girl begged him, without moving from where she was standing, still leaning on the large branch.
Kazuki:
"Sister, you can't hunt down what doesn't exist. Demons are real, ghosts are real, monsters are real, but Fate isn't. Your showing signs of madness even before your Joining. I wonder what will happen when your time to take it comes. I really do." Kazuki noted as he listened to her tirade. She kept saying they, and that could only mean that she was speaking about their parents. They had affected far more than they should, her psyche was damaged, perhaps beyond any repair. The sudden destruction of the tree by his sword had no effect on Natsuru, as if she had failed to notice it. That meant trouble, for sure. The Tsuchimikado slowly sheathed his sword again and use his affinity toward the Wood Element to grow a tree on the same spot of the other one. His eyes regained their Onyx-like coloration and he heavily sighed once. "You're delusional Sister. Haven't you seen me training, every single day, since our youth days? Do you really think I'm this powerful since day 1? Since I was born?" the ANBU questioned her, with sincerity on his voice. "If you sincerely believe in that, then you are sorely mistaken. I had to train allot, and I really mean allot, before I could even say that I had any power to begin with. It was only after my Joining that my skill improved dramatically. But even then, I wasn't that powerful. No, even to this day, I still train with the same dedication. And it is true that I can all three of the, so called, Ninja Arts. My skill with them is, practically the same. That is really, the only significant edge I have over you Sister. Be patient, wait for your Joining, then your power will surge, just like with the rest of our Clan." the silvery haired boy advised. But then, she seemed to realize that Kazuki's change in appearance had been due to a shortcut. The Tsuchimikado sighed heavily once again, before replying. "So you have noticed, how much different I look now. I've been through allot to reach my current power level, imaginable levels of pain coursed through my body, incapacitating pain, debilitating pain. I did it because I needed it, not because I wanted it. Not because I had a desire for more power. I gain power from a different source, one that you can't comprehend, even if I explain it. Sister, you're asking me the impossible. I simply cannot allow you go through the same, it is morally wrong, you're too young still." the ANBU stated with a low tone. "Are you certain that you want it? Once it starts, it can't be stopped. Once it happens, there is no turning back, you'll have to live with it, no matter what, regardless of the outcome. And there is a really good chance that your body won't be able to endure it and you'll die. Do you really wanna endanger your life when there is still so much for you to see, so much to live for? Think long and hard on this, think of the positives and the negatives, weight them all. When you're calmer and when you have a definitive answer, you know where to find me." the silvery haired boy declared as he prepared himself to leave Natsuru alone.
Natsuru:
"Madness is just a term. It doesn't matter whether one is or is not, does it? What matter is what you do with it Hahahaha." Natsuru answered withholding her laughter till the end. Her eyes followed the tree as it grew from a sapling to an almost exact replica of the one which had been there not too long ago. The girls grin grew slightly more yet again before it disappeared completely. "I haven't seen you train? No, no it can't be further from the truth. It was through watching those trainings that I learned how to use a sword properly. Ah those were fun times." Natsu said and grew quiet for the rest of the conversation. Her mind had pretty much gone blank. Was it lost in memories or was it trying to repair the damage done to it. It didn't matter at all either way really. This time it had been shattered a bit too much for duck tape to be able to fix the damage. Alas it was pointless really and soon it was back to it's previous state, full of laughter and plans to kill Fate. Finally her ears heard what she wanted. Why wait for the shortcut when you can both take it and then take the other? It was simple really. Just take the first one train then take the second one. Simple enough! Pain and death weren't even words that her mind recognized really, not at that point in time really. Maybe it would have been better for her to heed those words back then, but it's not as if she regretted, no she wouldn't ever regret it. "You already know the answer, onii-chan. Pain or death are just terms. They don't matter since they are there no matter what. Be it sooner or stronger it matters not." The girl told her brother and quickly followed after him.
Natsuru:

After leaving the village and following Kazuki: (New writeup.)
A few moths after leaving the ruins of former leaf to chase after her brother, Natsuru ended up getting caught up in a fight against a pair of unnamed deserters, her Senju blood urging her on to deal with the traitors. Even though she managed to win she had suffered grave injuries and ended up experiencing brief amnesia. During that time she had managed to convince herself that the sands were protecting her, when she was only using basic techniques subconsiously, her broken mind attempting to fix itself without ever knowing it. After a few brief encounters with Akkuma and her brother she ended up wandering off, memories coming back as she devoted herself to the one thing she fully remembered doing - training.
Even though she did not directly remember anything Natsu quickly found that she was proficient with a vast majority of the weapons she ended up picking up, lefovers from the time when the woman had attempted to please her parents. Needless to say that hadn't really worked out at all. There was one fragmented memory at the time which made her obsess over focusing a large portion of her training onto her eyes, which might be the sole reason she ended up breaking the mental bariers that her parents had accidentally built in her mind. The obsession with the Sanryoukyougan had completely stopped the development of her latent bloodline. It turned out that at some point in their family tree the Senju had managed to integrate the Byakugan, the doujitsu that Natsuru finally managed to develop after so many years of torment and only through taking a step back and reveling in insanity did it awaken.
For the next year or so the kunoichi devoted herself to developing the techniques further whilst doing the duty her blood asked of her, namely hunting down demons. Unluckily for bandits in her broken state that is what she began hunting. As the understanding of how to use the new power grew her memory rebuilt itself, her manical personality coming back and finally she was back to normal, now having one clear goal in mind - finding her dear brother once more.
