Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

x Contract mastery
Spending time with each other, a lot of time actually with his contract at the time. Whose name is Hatter.They spend their time through everything. Through thick and thin, good and the bad things. On in the end they had gained a deeper connection between each other.
At one point this was in a battle where he manage to enhance Hatter better, on which he was surprised. It was from this moment onwards that they got a lot better along and decided to get things further and better around in the next few battles. Yet he always let Hatter be around, materialized of course this was the demand of the young ginger haired man.
x Jutsu Mastery
Noba is always the type of guy that goes further than other have been going. This was no other way. Meditating, dealing with his demons inside of him and trying to study the art of Ninjutsu a lot further than others would be doing.
At a given time he was in the rain outside, the village looked at him training and all thought he had gotten mad. Yet he tried his best to do this fireball in a perfect manner while many distractions were going on, such as water, thunder and flashes of light. In the end of the night he was drenched but he did manage to make the mastery of the jutsu even better. A perfection.
x Duelist
One versus one... all the time, that was the deal about this arena. And he was slowly getting tired of it. Declaring a dual after dual... Why did he take that bet in the first place? Were his thoughts after. Yet as he started to fight them one against one he understood their thoughts better and took this as a learning opportunity later on.
At the end of the battle he had a it a lot easier, may it have been a roll on a dice one out of the million lottery. He didn't mind it anymore, he knew what it took to duel them.
x Combat Instinct
It was back in the day that he was with his mentor that he had to fight every now and then as part of the training. Yet sometimes these trainings would come as a surprise with a jab or a kick out of the nowhere. Teaching him that he always needed to be on his guard. However this sooner or later became an instinct. He knew soon how to dodge and how to handle a certain situation. This due to long training sessions too. Eventually he handled the situation that well that he even had managed to confuse his own mentor with one of his movements.
x Initiative
In a lot of situations his mentor let him go first, deciding or reacting before he would. It did help him develop this skill in life too where he had to choose to make it happen. This helped him getting better in the talking, reacting and fighting habit. In the fighting he would react faster than his opponent would do taking the initiative in the battle.
From time to time in his reactions or speaking it did bite back however, as he sometimes has the urge to not let the person speak his or hers full mind though.
x Hidden Power
Down, he was smashed down by a group of Ninja's and he was left on the ground. 'A blink and it's gone, were you even there?' "You think that this time your thought will remain" and with those words... He just couldn't stop here, even though he was a jinchuriki and always hunted, he couldn't and wouldn't end it here. Something of a power burled up from within himself. In the battle, he would become a lot more fierce, a burning desire that keeps them struggling to the end. Where he would be winning afterward. Yet he didn't get a chance to celebrate as he would soon pass out, using everything he had. Yet he was safe.
x Fearless
Once he had to battle Nala, he felt fear sinking in his shoes. Yet he knew what could and would happen if he let this demon run loose around the clan's village. It was a moment to place away from all his fears. It is a moment he doesn't recall due to what everything that happened. Yet his mentor did and called it a fearless act. Because of the fact, the demon might devour him whole because of the amount of power. The moment that he faced Nala alone at the moment that he had to be the vessel. Was a moment without fear, and this moment continued to go on. Which sometimes made a... rather interesting situation.
x Willpower
"You are weak!" Was the voice of his mentor ringing in his head. He was panting on the floor, it took him a lot with these mind-bending trickery of the old man. "Oi oi... I am just learning!" He tried to comment on the older man's comment away. Yet he found it hopeless. Slowly he would stand up again and felt fed up. "We go again!" "Bu--" Yet his own fighting was no use, he was already under it and tried to figure out ways to break the Genjutsu without any help. Without the help of the demon inside of him.
x Human Anatomy
There was one thing he was always interested in, watching people. It really never got bored and you had them in all kinds. Slowly he started to learn medical from his mentor too and learned how the human body would be in a piece or pieces. Define certain structures and the errors of them. The weaker points and the stronger points of the human build. It took a lot of effort to learn this and sometimes a visit to the medical ward on this isle. Yet they did succeed in it and Noba learned some valuable things in all those trips. Some better than the other.

"Just change it, let something else flow in between." The old man simply said and would display his version that he called Shinobi 101. A usefull skill to manipulate your charkra. Yet Noba didn't find it all together that easy. "Right..." he would say and tilt his head slight towards the side. "And you saying this means...." He would however still stand ready in a stance to try it once more. Once more he made a slashing movement and noticed how his mentor had to dodge it, a bit suprised too. "E-eh..?" The mentor just gave a glare. "No ice for you for a month..." And yet the mentor smiled as he walked away. "Owh man!"

Hatter took a smile and slinked off towards the side. "That might be very true... How would you know this." At this... The male grinned. "I think that... Nala herself has had a deeper connection to her ancestors then I knew before... Guess a helpfull feature being a lone wolf..."

Living Artifact - Tsukumogami Contract Passive
The Tsukumogami; beings that, through some type of infusion of spiritual and natural energy, have 'awoken' to sentience out of normal objects. This contract is widely varied in both appearance and temperance, often having traits akin to the object they were born from. The spirit of a weapon might take a threatening form and be prone to aggression, while one of a mirror might be proud and beautiful.[lb2][/lb2]

Effect: [lb][/lb]
- Once per round the contract may be used to replicate the effect of any consumable item (all costs are paid as normal). [lb][/lb]
- The user may be considered either Spiritual, Cursed, or holy; this must be stated in the user's Dojo.
  • Should a character have the Archsage Kinjutsu, their Senjutsu Manipulation ability's alignment becomes this Alignment rather than Holy.

Identify - Tsukumogami Contract Dependent Special Move[lb][/lb]
As the spirits of the Tsukumogami contract were once ordinary objects themselves, they have an instinctual connection to other tools. With a touch, they can understand any object's quality, traits, and history, and can even, as the Tsukumogami like to put it, 'persuade' said objects to not work against them. How exactly this is done, only the Tsukumogami may know.[lb2][/lb2]

Effect: When a target in battle uses an inventory item, the user may pay 1 AP and 500 CP to reflexively attempt to nullify it. This requires a check of the user's choice between the user and the target, and if the user succeeds, the items use is nullified (still counts as a usage) and cannot be used again for a full round.


Soul Regalia - Tsukumogami Contract Senjutsu[lb][/lb]
The unique skill of the Tsukumogami contract, one they are only willing to perform with someone who has earned their respect. In this stage the Tsukumogami shares their power with their ally, pooling their strength together in a way that's stronger than either of their two halves. The Tsukumogami often manifests as intricate glowing robes or armor, or equally detailed weapons.[lb2][/lb2]

Effect: The user transforms into some type of living item, and equips themselves to one willing Player Character (a Tsukumogami contract may only bond with someone who has the Tsukumogami contract, while someone with Sage Mode may choose any willing ally). While bonded;
  • The wielder is considered the alignment specified by Living Artifact.
  • At the start of each round, the caster transfer's HP to their wielder equal to 20% of the damage taken by the wielder the previous round.
  • The caster may grant their wielder up to 3 of their Abilities (if they are a contract), or their full ability list (if they are a PC, excluding Kinjutsu abilities)
  • The wielder's secondary stats are whichever are the highest between themselves and the caster. If the wielder's own secondary's are higher than the caster's, then they gain a +1 bonus.
In addition to the above, the user chooses one of the below options;
  • Legendary Weapon: The caster chooses one of their own weapons or one of their wielder's, and equips it to their wielder. The wielder is treated as having the Weapon Mastery ability for this weapon type. If the wielder unequips or drops the caster, the caster may requip themselves to them without it costing the wielder's AP (it will only cost the Tsukumogami's AP). Upon equipping themselves to their wielder, if their wielder was in the middle of performing an action, then the action will be completed without interference in any way (such as if they were in the middle of performing a technique requiring handseals).
  • Wondrous Item: The wielder gains the effect of 1 Gear item chosen by the caster. Additionally, the wielder may use the caster's Living Artifact ability to replicate the effects of an item inplace of the caster.
  • Mythic Accessory: The wielder equipped with this item gains the ability to perform the caster's known jutsu list without requiring handseals, or knowing the jutsu themselves. The wielder does not need to meet any jutsu requirements. If used by a PC, cannot share BL/CA/Kinjutsu techniques.
Special Action: This Senjutsu's timing may be performed instantly upon the below conditions. All other costs are still paid normally.
  • The contract owner summoning this contract. The contract will pay the cost of this jutsu as normal, and automatically equip itself to its summoner upon being summoned.[lb][/lb]
  • The contract owner entering Sage Mode. The user will pay the cost of this jutsu, and automatically equip themselves to an ally of their choice.

- This Senjutsu cannot be forcibly dropped, other than the caster willingly choosing to drop this, or if either the caster or wielder reaches 0 HP or CP.[lb][/lb]
- Upon being dispersed, the wielder's and caster's Hp is averaged between them. Neither may surpass their max Hp/Cp ((if they do, both caster and their wielder will have Hp/Cp equal to the lower amount).[lb][/lb]
- When sharing abilities, the wielder cannot stack abilities which they already have.[lb][/lb]
- Overwrites any other similar combination type techniques, dispelling and/or preventing them.[lb2][/lb2]

- The caster and their wielder share Genjutsu senses, Clone limits, Creation limits, etc.[lb][/lb]
- The caster may cast supporting jutsu that normally target themselves (Such as clones or buffing taijutsu) on their wielder, do to being the same entity.[lb][/lb]
- Actions which target the caster will instead target their wielder.

Maleficium - Youkai Contract Ability
The counterpart to the Kami, Youkai are often shunned and ostracized despite not necessarily being malevolent. This is no doubt due to them being naturally drawn towards mischief, as well as their capability of spreading havoc and misfortune where they appear, whether intentional or otherwise. It has become superstition that no good can come from associating with Youkai, not without cursing onesself and others with misfortune.

Effect:
- Those who hit, or have been hit by, the user become cursed with misfortune. While in this state, should they roll a 1 on any Dodge/GenSave roll, the opposing attack becomes a Critical Hit. This cursed status does not stack regardless of source, and lasts for the remainder of the round.[lb][/lb]
- The user and all of their attacks are considered <I>Cursed.
  • Should a character have the Archsage Kinjutsu, their Senjutsu Manipulation ability's alignment becomes Cursed rather than Holy.

Miasma - Youkai Contract Independent Special Move
Youkai are capable of generating an ominous, vapor-like energy that causes disturbances to their environment and invokes feelings of paranoia and dread from those nearby. Should feel explainable feelings of anxiety and doom, it could be the presence of a Youkai.

Effect: Every round the user may create a miasma cloud for 1 AP. This miasma provides a number of benefits, but exactly which is used must be declared at the time the miasma is made.[lb][/lb]
  • 10% chance that any attacks directed at the Youkai Contract Summon or their summoner will auto-miss. Upon causing an attack to successfully auto-miss it will disperse the miasma cloud. This does not stack if there is multiple miasmas being used in this way, rather that 10% chance is rolled twice (so if there is 10 miasma clouds being used in this way it does not mean that there is a 100% chance of a miss but rather ten 10% chances that the attack will automatically miss.)[lb][/lb]
  • 5% chance that a combatant (this may effect friend and foe but the summoner and the Youkai summon themselves are considered immune) will automatically dispel a random maintained jutsu or technique (this includes jutsu that do not require chakra to maintain). This effect can be maintained indefinitely and can stack up to three times. These Miasma will not disperse if they cause a maintain to be dispelled.[lb][/lb]
  • The miasma attacks every opponent (may also be used to attack self or allies). There is no limit to the number of opponents the miasma will attack. This happens at 0 seconds timing and can be used as a conditional (such as 'attack myself if bound') but once the miasma makes it attack it will disperse. The miasma uses the user's Accuracy type of choice with a +1 Accuracy/DC bonus and deals 250 damage. Exactly when the miasma attacks an opponent must be determined by the user.
Note:
- There is no limit to how many clouds of miasma can be out at a given time.
- There is no limit to how many times a target may be effected by a miasma in a given round or a given battle.
- The summoner and the contract summon are both immune to these effects unless the user elects to allow themselves to be effected.
- This can effect creations and clones.
- Any time an AoE Wind attack is performed, one Miasma cloud is destroyed. An AOE is defined as an attack that targets multiple targets simultaneously (including ninjutsu spread). Additionally 'Wind' is defined as anything that uses 'Wind' ninjutsu as a part of its base element.

Heartseeker -Youkai Contract Senjutsu
A Youkai technique that condenses natural energy into the form of a glowing spear, launching it at their enemies. This spear, shrouded with their miasma, diffuses into the target it strikes, cursing them with an even stronger effect of the Youkai's miasma.

Effect: Attacks up to three targets for an attack that deals 3960 damage. On a full hit, the user choose one of the below effects to inflict upon the victim:
  • Makes all their jutsu or actions cost +10% chakra. This can stack up to three times. Lasts up to three rounds.
  • Makes all their attacks deal -10% damage. This is calculated before damage reduction. This can stack up to three times. Lasts up to three rounds.
  • Each time an action is made (jutsu, withdrawing an item, basic strikes, etc.) there is a 10% chance that the called shot of a random limb will be increased. This does not stack. Lasts up to three rounds.
Cost: 3 AP, 2750 CP

Note:
- Jutsu subtype is chosen when the contract creature is designed; determining its accuracy and damage type.
- Regardless of subtype chosen, this jutsu is considered <I>Dark.
- Additional applications of this jutsu do not reset the timer.
- A target may only be affected by one of these effects at a given time.

AbilitiesSlashing - Physical Style
The user may choose a single effect from Offensive OR Defensive. Re-entering the style at the cost of 0.5 AP allows the user to change effects.

Prerequisite: 4 Mastered Slashing Jutsu
  • Offensive
    • Iaijutsu: Upon entering this style, the user designates one of their Slashing type weapons; the user may perform Slashing Taijutsu with this weapon without it being equipped. The user is considered equipped with this weapon for the duration of their Slashing Taijutsu. The user is removed from this style if they equip a different weapon, or attack with a Jutsu subtype other than Slashing (non-jutsu attacks, such as items and special moves, may still be used). This weapon is still vulnerable to Called Shot: Weapon while this style is active.
    • Razor Edge: Should a target's Bleed Rank increase due to a Slashing Attack, the attack has a 20% Chance of doing Critical Damage. Can only effect a Victim once per round. If the victim reduces their Bleeding rank to 1, this can be used an additional time; this effect may only occur once per battle.
    • Feral Assault: Each consecutive Slashing Taijutsu Attack made by the user gains +3% Damage and +1 Accuracy, stacking up to +6% Damage and +2 Accuracy. For each Non-Slashing Taijutsu Attack made lowers the stack by -3% Damage and -1 Accuracy.
  • Defensive
    • Flat Edge: The user has a 20% chance to block a successful attack, reducing its Damage by 10%; this is considered Damage Reduction. If a weapon used in this style has an additional chance to block/reflect an attack, reducing damage through an augment, this effect becomes an additional +5% chance to block/reflect. This can only occur twice per round.
    • Blade Whisperer: The user gains a +2 Dodge against Melee based attacks. Upon a successful dodge, the user is allowed a free basic strike against the attacker dealing 50% unbuffable damage. This may surpass the cap limit up to two times.
    • Trickster: Whenever the user performs a successful Slashing Taijutsu Attack, they gain +1 Dodge against the next offensive technique against them. If the user successfully dodges, the next Slashing Taijutsu Attack performed by the user gains +1 Accuracy.

AbilitiesWeapon Mastery - Slashing - Open Wounds
Considered an extension to their body, a weapon in the skilled hands of a master becomes that much more dangerous than those used by others. Train up, and become a master!

Information
Prerequisite: C-Rank, 5 Mastered Taijutsu of the chosen Weapon type

Effect:
- Upon learning this ability, the user chooses one weapon type to master. Each Weapon Mastery requires it's own ability slot.
  • Slashing - Open Wounds: Bleeding Ranks inflicted on a target with the user's Slashing weapon also inflicts a stack of Open Wounds, increasing the Bleed Damage dealt to the target by 10%. Stacks up to 5 times for a maximum of 50%
    • If the target heals or removes a Bleeding Rank, they also lose a stack of Open Wounds.
    • If the target is already at maximum Bleeding Rank, each time the user's Slashing weapon were to inflict a Bleeding Rank, it would apply a stack of Open Wounds instead.
  • Bludgeoning - Momentum: When the user misses a Bludgeoning attack, 25% of the missed attacks damage is added to the user's next Bludgeoning attack that hits.
    • This stacks for consecutive misses, and resets when the user hits, uses an attack other than bludgeoning, or the end of a round.
    • Only applies to AoE if the attack fails to hit any targets.
  • Piercing - Prying Fang: If the user's Piercing weapon would have its damage reduce through a target's Damage Reduction, the amount that would be deducted would instead be added to the Piercing weapon's total damage and the attack will ignore the target's Damage Reduction.
  • Projectile - Arsenal: User must declare 3 Augments as their Stock Augments at the start of battle. Each time they perform an attack with their Projectile weapon, they may apply one of their Stock Augment to it.[lb][/lb]
  • Unarmed - Blitz Brawl: The user may choose to combo two unarmed attacks together, using the timing of the higher AP action regardless of the order of both attacks. If the first hits, the second one hitting will automatically suppress the target for .5 Ap. If the the first misses but the second one hits, the first will be rerolled at the end of the second attack, but cannot inflict suppression.
    • May be used once per target, per round.
  • Thrown - Assault: User can now perform Assault with their Thrown Weapon for 1 AP. This attack strikes 3 times, dealing Basic Strike Damage, and may be divided amongst targets.
    • Each strike in Assault is considered an individual basic strike, and may inflict Bleeding, Suppression, Called Shot (if it is capable).
    • May be used 3 times per target, per round.
    • These strikes cannot have the amount of enemies they target increased.
  • Puppet - Preparation: The user may declare 1 Puppet to be automatically equipped at the start of the battle and equipping Puppets are treated as a Hidden Action. The first attack used in battle with a Puppet is treated as a Sneak Attack.
    • Sneak Attack applies to each Puppet's first attack (Jutsu, Traps, Basic Attack, etc) and only applies once in battle.

AbilitiesBloody Mess[/center]
Psychopaths, Surgeons, Werewolf wannabies...Surgeons...something about these people just draws them to the sight of blood; they can't get enough of it! Someone with this dark skill is able to draw out much more of that precious lifeforce from their targets, almost as if the very blood they seeked was seeking them as well...

Prerequisites: D-Rank

Effect:
- The user's Critical hits will always increase bleeding rank, even if the attack does not normally inflict bleeding. This does not apply to non-offensive techniques aimed at allies that can crit.
- When attacking a target at their maxed Bleeding Rank, the user has a base chance of 10% to deal 1.5% Max Hp damage immediately. This chance may be increased with the user's Bleed bonuses up to a 20% chance, but may only effect a target up to three times per round.
- When either of the above effects trigger, the target will take an additional +.5% Max Hp damage per round from bleeding on top of their current Bleeding damage. This does not stack.
