To right the unrightable wrong
To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

Name:Nobunaga, Akiachi
Age: 12
Physical Description:
Akiachi has a ruddy face, dusted lightly with freckles and scrunched into a happy smile. With cheek bones that are not particularly highset, a short button nose that ends abruptly as it travels down the length of his face, and large charcoal black eyes Akaichi has all the hallmark features of avergness; Even still the bend of his eyes, and a certain flatness where his nose begins to bridge gives him a sort of imperfect, exotic face that offers an interesting quality to what is otherwise an unremarkable set of features. The boy’s hair is a jet black, and spikes up in an unruly mess atop his head. It’s hard, branching nature, which has been the downfall of many a provincial barber, especially when paired with his round face, makes Akaichi look like a black and pink pineapple, a quality that did not go unnoticed by his childhood bullies.
The young boy stands at an unremarkable four foot, and six inches give or take, a paltry height compared to even his young peers. Still Akiachi has has a strong, but unassuming build, weighing roughly one hundred pounds. With a back broadened by the hauling of hauling stone, and arms forged through daily exercises, and field labor , Akaichi has a fairly stocky build, with thick legs that have proven especially useful in his efforts to become the very best fighter he can be. Akiachi walks with a graceful, gentle gait, and a certain swagger that shows he is more than comfortable with the person he is becoming.
Mental Description:
Martial Artist: Not to put too fine a point on it, Aikachi enjoys fighting. From a very young age his father began to train him in the artful dance of violence, and the boy took to it quickly. Embracing the natural discipline, and order, as well as the boon to him competitive nature, that came with learning martial arts, it quickly became a defining facet of his personality.
Honest: A principled young man, Akaichi is incredibly honest, sometimes to the point of hyperbole. Of course it’d be wholly untruthful to say he’s never told a lie, but it would not be unfair to say that any lie he’s ever told has been inconsequential. Because of his honest nature he is incredibly uncomfortable lying, and wholly unskilled in the ways of guile.
Stubborn: Akaichi, for a mortal man, has an insane amount of willpower, unfortunately it is coupled with the stubbornness of an Ox; A combination, that can often times prove to be fatal in men. When Akaichi heart, and mind are set on something he will achieve it, bar none. The boy’s unrelenting stubbornness can often times polarize those around him. The undoing of many of his fledgling friendships, when Akaichi believes himself to be right, he will refuse to drop something until he is proven wrong, or whomever he has challenged relents. Many a playground brawl has started because some poor kid and Akaichi have had a disagreement.
Idealistic: For all of his strengths, none shines more than his idealism. Akaichi stands by his ideals and will not compromise his beliefs for anything, standing ever brave, honorable, and undaunted in the face of the many dangers of this turbulent time. Akaichi idealism spurs him ever forward, onwards, towards a world where he is the best version of himself that he could ever possibly be. Even so, there are few things worse than stubbornness. All of Akaichi’s weaknesses stem from this one character trait. This idea that he has a personal duty to the ideals he upholds causes him to be stubborn, a perfectionist who is never content with what he has, constantly striving to reach this moral ideal. At times his idealism can be a driving force helping him to do great things, but it’s also got a darker side, it can often be a major hindrance, keeping him from living life, and growing as a person.
History:
Akaichi was born to Odari, and Katsumi Nobunaga, a family of farmers living in the untamed border territories of the lighting nation. Akaichi’s father, and his seven siblings would tend to the farm in the morning, and through the day, and then practice martial arts in the evening. Farm life blended naturally with that of a martial artist, both cultivating an ernest sense of mental, and physical discipline.
Akaichi would prove to be the most apt of his father’s children, taking quickly to Martial arts. Soon he would begin to challenge even his eldest brother, who was more than four years his senior. All though he was not a prodigy by any means, he was progressing fast enough that his father decided perhaps it is best that he leave the provincial life of a farmer, and instead enroll in the academy to join the illustrious Cloud Village. Akaichi’s life has been a short, but eventful one, focused entirely on being the best martial artist he can be, no one can say for certain what the future may hold for him, but the young boy is sure it will involve his quest to become the best ever.
