Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Lava
Becoming one of t he best shinobi in the world was a long journey. And as such, Maiko spent a lot of her free time training to do just that. In her mind, the only way to become the best was to become so versatile that she could handle any enemy. She was young, but she was smart. She had managed to train herself in the ways of three different elements since she was twelve! Since then her bloodline activated and provided her with shadow abilities. And again she was able to make a breakthrough and find the power over sand.

All this proved to her that she had a natural ability to accumulate and learn several different elements. And with that in mind, she set out to forcefully learn a new combination element. They were called Kekkei Genkai or something like that. All she knew was that she was going to obtain as many of them as she could, as well as try to master all five base elements. That was something extremely rare, no matter where in the world you were.

And so on this journey she had accumulated enough knowledge in Earth and fire that after a brief trip to the library, she was ready to attempt Lava jutsu. She was at this time thirteen, and to obtain three kekkei genkai at such an age would be just the rumors and prestige she needed for her name to move up in the shinobi world.

Maiko forced the two elements together to experiment with the results and extreme heat and an explosion occurred. What she rhad learned from shadow and sand was that trial and error was the only way to work two elements together. Several hours she spent trying to force them together, but eventually she was seeing fruit. Though she could not yet use jutsu, she was learning the way the earth and fire element interacted. It wouldn't be long before she could wield them.

Two months later she was able to pull off her first lava jutsu. And form then on, she only grew in mastery over the element.

Abilities

Laziness
Staring into the sky and watching the clouds, laying in a meadow and letting the sun carress her skin, drifting along the current as she floated atop the water, these kind of things were what made her happy. Work was for the idiots who were concerned with getting somewhere in life. All she wanted was to sleep, relax, and ponder the bigger intellectual questions of the age. Why did someone with her intelligence have to do anything else?

Yes she was lazy! And she was proud to be such. There was nothing wrong with ignoring the world, and letting someone else do the hard work. If anyone said otherwise they could suck her big toe.

Clumsiness
Maiko had always been clumsy. Such was evident in her life on several occasions. the most dominant example being how she often fell from trees while snoozing. But the clumsiness was not a burden, in fact it was the opposite. A true gift from lord Jashin himself! You see, Maiko often committed acts of clumsiness at opportune times.

The first time the young girl ever begun to see her klutziness as a gift was back in the academy. During projectile training; which she truly stunk at, she went to retrieve some senben that were on the ground. Playing with her, one of the kids sought to frighten her by aiming at a taregt in front of her face, but the wind blew the projectile dead at her. Had she not tripped over a small pebble; by the way no one would ever have tripped over such a tiny pebble, she would have been seriously injured if not dead.

Clumsiness was a golden gift, a unique and beloved ability of hers. When she wasn't falling out of trees that was.

Economizer
Lazy people find ways to make their own life easier. In fact one could say that lazy people were the most efficient people of them all. As they were always constantly trying to find ways to increase more use out of less energy consumption.

In this endeavor, Maiko spent a day working on her equipment and storage devices. She took out the time to find ways to cram mroe into them while maintaining a quick and easy draw of all her items. Needless to say, her time spent now would save her in the future. Both time, energy, and maybe even her life.

Quickdraw
Laxiness was a curse sometimes. And one of those times was when it came to practicing things. One who had no more motive than to sit down in a tree and watch the clouds pass by was not a likely candidate to get up and work on her drawing speed. But this lazy person had three goals in life. And it so happened to be that becoming the best shinobi she could was one of them.

So she kicked her butt out of that tree and began practicing drawing items and projectiles from her holsters. She taught herself where everything was, how to grab and pull them out for effective speed, and how to replace items quickly as to not hinder herself in battle. Laziness aside, it was a pain. No literally...her fingers were spotted with stab wounds from all those senben!

Stalker

Well she did not mean to become such a creeper! It was all accident that she learned the ways of the creepy ones. Not only did the shadows hide her naturally ever since she learned that she could harness their power, but they became even more in tune with the creepy stalkerness when she started spying on brother Koroki.

Ever since she fled the scene in grief over the loss of mother, she had watched big brother from afar. Sure he probably noticed her, but there were occasions when she swore that he could not sense her. Over the years this stalking of her brother to keep tabs on him developed a sort of skill out of it. Don't break that branch, don't step on that pile of leaves. Quiet, mouse like, be invisible! She learned all about carefully moving and using the enviroment to its maximum effectiveness while trying to stay under brothers radar.

Quick healer

snoozing in a tree when your so clumsy is a perfect way to accumulate plenty of scrapes and bruises. Especially true when Maiko loved to sleep in the higher parts of the trees.

All the drops and dangerously hard falls from the trees; nevermind they were worth a millions laughs from watchers of all ages, were a great training regiment for the body. She had done this from her early childhood, so her body had gotten in the habit of healing her quickly. So much so that she became naturally able to heal faster than most. Clumsiness had once again graced her life. Thank Jashin for such a gift!

Still gotta do an rp for Sand, but until then...It seems laziness was removed from abilities. Yes? If so does that net me a free switch or what?

Side note, Sand was learned before Lava icly.
Kekkei genkei are something that are rare amongst normal shinobi. At most a normal shinobi might end up with two. To master one is extremely hard. So how did a twelve year old pick up the ability to use one to begin with?

What did you expect from someone who has the genius instilled blood of a Nara?

Maiko was training her use of earth chakra using special chakra paper. Sure she had little interest in earth, but she found herself drawn to it nonetheless and thught she might test her chakra natures out. Why was she so familliar with earth chakra? Why did the paper give her the results for earth easier than any other chakra? The answers eluded her.

Till of course she tried to use the chakra nature itself to produce a jutsu. Doing so did not give her the results she was expecting.

It was a sunny day and she had gone to the library to learn the symbols for a basic earth jutsu. It was a mudball attack and she did the symbols flawlessly. After all she had studied every symbol possible. Her chakra poured into her seals and she prepared to launch the attack. But when she did, instead of earth and mud, a sand ball appeared! Partially muddied, but no doubt it was sand and not mud.

So it was discovered after several more tests that her earth affinity was actually caused by a greater affinity with sand. Who would have thought? She ran to the library to read up on the special jutsu effects she had learned. And she came to know of t he Kekkei genkei. Of course sand lead her to tetsing he rlimits. Now she wanted to learn the base elements as well as as many Kekkei genkei as she could possibly accumulate.

Not long after Lava fell under her belt.

Hidden power
Not much is known by many people about how the young nara fights in a real battle. One said brother of hers is about the only witnes sthus far to the extreme power unleashed as you push her.

It was a nice summers day when the two were sparring. Of course big brother was winning, but this time was different. He was pushing her farther than usual. As such he landed a quite heavy blow. But instead o ffalling down and becoming weaker, the Nara grew sharper, faster, and a stronger shinobi over all. As the battle continued the Nara would continue to grow in power as she was dealt blow after blow.

What was going on? No one could say for sure, but in that moment, her brother realized something. His sister held within her a deadly power that came out only as she came near to defeat. But it was more than that. A nara is one who seeks a mental challenge. As Maia was forced into a situation that became bleeker by the second, her muse to battle grew. As her interest in the fight grew, so did her ability to fight better in it.

Combat instinct
Life was a chess game. The more pieces on the board the harder it was to fight someone. but when you took away their pieces, so did you take away the challenge that was in the game to begin with. So to was it in battle that this young Nara had learned to utilize this truth.

Nara's study strategy front and back. Then again at a diagonal even! So as this young Nokugara battles, she utilizes her opponents weaknesses to the full effect. But it goes further than that. Through severe study, Maia had learned to create weakness within her opponent and then utilize it further even. As she damages her opponent, she sues the oppurtunity created to further herself. It will be as if shes growing stronger even while her enemy grew weaker. But of course shes merely taking advantage of their weakness.
