Tama couldn’t believe what was in his mission box.
Somebody knew a few things about the scientist to know that he had almost an entire hand written copy of the library, or at least he assumed that they did since he didn’t see very many people walking towards the library towing a cart with hundreds of books on them.
This was all remnants of a time gone by, an age of his childhood where all he wanted to do was devour every last inch of knowledge he could get his hands on. In the process he had re-written quite a few of the books from the library in his own hand so that –he- understood them better. It wasn’t quite the entire library as he liked to exaggerate to people, but it was a good chunk of the useful information involving ninjutsu/genjutsu, known mysteries of Dojutsu, and the entire medical wing of the library. As he dragged the good old red cart along he reflected on this entire situation, briefly.
He was glad to be rid of this gigantic collection of books. It was next to impossible to keep his house clean and he only ever needed maybe ten or twelve of them at any given time as he had started to condense his collection into gigantic tomes. Two of them were completed, one containing the unlocked secrets of the chakra coil, and the other containing a wide variety of forbidden jutsu, special written spells, and a guide for using chakra crystals to replace using your own power.
Those he would keep to himself, but the library could have the rest of it.
Walking proudly up to the library he dropped the handle to the wagon in front of the attendant who was expecting -a- book from him. His eyes widened in either terror or joy, Tama couldn’t tell, but the clerk went about to checking off the scientist’s name from his little list and nodding to him that he could go. He wasn’t required to sort anything out, that was up to the librarians.
