Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Susumu's mother had return to Sunagakure from her family vacation. She had been miserable ever since the death of her loving husband. His memory will forever live in the depths of her mind. She approached the gates nonchalantly, requesting to be let in. "Name!" One of the guards at the gates exclaimed. Susumu's mother answered,"Akujin, Yuri" The guard at the gates said laughing,"Hey! its the chick from that Akujin Saranori case" "Let her in you buffoon" one of the guards soon interrupted. The first guard then stopped laughing and opened the gates. Yuri then proceeded to enter the village with the urge to encase him in an "Iron Coffin". But if she did that she would've gone to jail and to her that would be a terrible way to start off after returning to Sunagakure. After passing through the gates she then went to her house. Upon approaching the front door, that painful memory of her husband taking a kunai in his back for her made her burst out in tears. She fell to the ground on her knees in deep sorrow. Meanwhile, Susumu was ready to leave the village. He went to go find Hiku's whereabouts so that he may be escorted to his trip to Konoha. "Oi I find it truly amazing that Hiku can find out where I live without me telling him but the same principle doesn't return in my favor" Susumu said to himself as he was walking. Susumu looked left and right to find his partner in this expedition. His eyes began darting in all directions and he was left with not one drop of luck. At this point all hope of finding his mother was lost. He sat on a bench and put his face in the cup of his hands covering his eyes in frustration. Susumu uncovered his eyes when he heard a woman crying. "Huh?" Susumu said as he turned his head toward the sound. A woman on her knees was crying at her front door. Susumu felt compelled to try and comfort her. So he walked over to her and asked, "Are you ok?" "whats wrong?"</B><i></i> Yuri's crying began to stop as he asked this question. Yuri answered, "Two weeks ago...<i></i> *sob* my husband died...*sob* trying to save my life"<i></i> Susumu began to sympathize for her, <B>"Im... sorry for... your lost ma'am" "What was his name?" He asked. "What does it matter to you?" She said. "I mean maybe I can relate to how you feel" Susumu said. "I myself am going through a tough time ya'know" "All my life I haven't had a mother or father to guide me and tell me what to do" "I've been living in eternal chaos because my parents put me in an orphanage and soon after I was adopted, my foster parents left me" Susumu continued. Yuri's stomach began to turn as he told her about his past. She knew what she had done back in those days and was afraid to tell him because he had gotten so old. He was almost an adult in her eyes. She would feel bad if she told him that she put him in an orphanage because she wasn't ready to be a mother.

A black cloak hung around a man roughly about 5"9. His eyes focused on the road before him the streets seemed dead, left with no signs of life. However sparks would soon begin to pop up, showing that the street still had a heartbeat. The man couldn't help but not relate to the feeling exactly, his heart was currently complicated. He was compelled to believe that he was simply left with a surge of energy every now and then. However what if this surge was a pulse, wouldn't that mean he still had a heart? Something that kept using this surge, pulse, to keep him running. To keep him on his feet alive, and at this rate anything to keep him in perspective would be useful.

The bitter air didn't bother the man but he still held dearly to his cloak which was tightly wrapped around his face and body. If anyone could catcha glimpse of his face they'd only see porcelain like skin that retained a pale pigment. His eyes were a deep lime and he had a head full of indigo hair. As the man walked down the streets of Suna he came across a woman yelling at a young man. The young man seemed to be trying to talk to her nicely from what he could hear, but she seemed to be so defensive. "It's not often that someone goes out of their way to check on another. I think you should treasure that someone took a look at your visible pain and sacrificed their time to help. The cloaked man had made his way over to the two. His eyes would dart to the young man and then he'd begin to take off the hood on his cloak revealing a pale face with a mask around it's mouth. A full head of sleek indigo hair and a intense set of lime green eyes.

A cracking voice spoke to the young man in a generally pleasant tone. "Akujin Susumu am I right? It's me Hiku, sorry but I've been ... well tied up for some time. A lot of things have changed. How are you? Did you recover from the poisons well? Hiku remembered the spar in the woods. He had put Susumu through a torture of poisons that racked his body to high hell. Hiku didn't feel bad about it, but he just wanted to make sure Susumu was healed fine if not he'd have some anti-toxins to brew. Even though he technically wasn't a Yamanaka anymore, he still knew the tricks behind their trademark poisons and techniques.

Hiku had happened to drop in on the two and made a suggestion that caught Yuri by surprise. "*sigh* I guess your right Susumu does deserve to know the truth of his father" She said in a depressing tone as she knew what her son's reaction would be. "WHAT!" Susumu exclaimed. "So.. you mean... to tell... me y-your m-my mother" He continued in shock. Susumu had never felt so blind in his life. Of all his years of searching he never thought that fate would bring him to the very thing he was searching for. "I.. d-don't know what to say" He said. Yuri then turned and comforted her son with a hug and kiss. Susumu wrapped his arms around her and felt a warm feeling of peace within his stomach. "So i've gotta ask you." "why was I put in an orphanage?" Susumu asked his mother. Yuri then replied, "Well truth be told I wasn't ready to be a mother or raise a child for that matter when I had you" "So we put you in an orphanage so someone else could adopt you" "Well that's a little painful isn't it" Susumu said. "You weren't ready to have me so you just dump me in some shit hole you call an orphanage" He continued. Susumu began to grow upset and frustrated. Yuri was taken by surprise of such an accusation. "Susumu... you gotta learn to forgive people and live by the Tsuchimikado motto" "The spirits of hatred and of the unforgiving can be burned with the flame of the merciful" "Meaning even when people do wrong to you and show that they're sorry you should be willing to forgive and forget" She said. It made since to the young man. After all he did manage to find his mother and he understood that was all that should matter at this point. There was no since for him to hold a grudge against his mother, for he knows he cannot change what has happened to him. "*sigh* Your right mom..." he paused for a moment and realized it was the first time he had called his mother by that title. "I forgive you and am willing to let go of the past" He finished. He then turned his attention to his acquaintance, Hiku. He noticed that he looked a tad bit different from when they last met. He was wearing a black hooded cloak that concealed the rest of his body. "I have recovered well from the poisons indeed" He said. "What about you?" "How have you been?" "You look a little different than when we sparred in the Elderwoods" He continued. Susumu sat by his mother for the first time and waited for an answer. Hiku began to speak but before he could get a single word out, or a breath for that matter, two ANBU guards came out of nowhere and arrested him. "You are a wanted suspect of the Akujin Saranori case!" one of the guards said. They handcuffed Hiku and took him away.

Susumu gasped in amazement when he saw his recently met friend taken away by ANBU officials. He wondered how he was apart of the Akujin Saranori Case, and more importantly, he wondered why he hadn't said anything when they were obtaining their passports to leave the village. "He must've been a friend of yours I suppose?" Susumu's mother asked interrupting his thoughts. "Well yea... umm... we met at the post office". "We were getting passports to Konoha to investigate my father's case to find a lead on you..." "Your father?" "So you already know then right?" "Know what mom? Susumu asked. "About our link to the otherside." "We have a power that allows us to see the spirits of fallen shinobi like your dad". Yuri explained to her son. "Oh yea in fact I got a visit from his spirit one night and he told me that I had the traits of a Tsuchimikado" Susumu's mother looked at her son in disappointment. It wasn't so much that she was disappointed in him however, that disappointment that dripped on her face was more directed toward the boy's father. Seeing this, Susumu looked at his mother and questioned her disgust. "Why do you look like that?" Yuri's disappointed stare broke and she stammered. "Uhh.. nothing it's nothing dear..." "It's just that your father left out some very crucial information""Which is?" Susumu asked out of confusion. "We can do more than just talk to spirits and receive impromptu visits from them." "We can also visit them the same way they visit us" "No way!!!!" This bit of information shocked Susumu. His curiousity was really staring to build at this point. How could this be possible? How could he physically travel across time and space and visit spirits that reside in a land that is non-existent to most? "How is this possible?" He asked. His mother answered him and said, "It's not particularly easy like summoning a shadow clone for that matter" "It's more like summoning a gate to another dimension". "Among the Tsuchimikado lineage, lies a forbidden technique known as the Keikatsu Kado" "A gate that links directly to the spirit realm" "legend has it that the spirits there are not only spending the rest of their eternity there, but are being tortured by Pandora, a guardian of souls" "The spirits leave the realm and make their visits to mortals in the human world like you and I" "That sounds amazing"</I><i></i> Susumu thought to himself. "The Keikatsu Kado" "A gate to the spirit realm" "Why would she be telling me about something like this?" "What does this have to do with dad?" Those thoughts pounded hard on the roof of Susumu's mind. They danced around the circumference of his brain with such vanity. He had to know the significance of this minor detail that dad left out. "A gate to the spirit realm ehh?" "What does that have to do with me?" "Why would I want to visit some distant land of tortured spirits?" "I mean how can you torture something that's already dead?" Susumu questioned. "Susumu... you could free your father as well as the other spirits inside that realm..." "WHAT DO YOU MEAN FREE THEM THERE DEAD!!!!!" Susumu exclaimed. "You said they're spending an eternity there right?" "So that means that eternity of endless torture as you proposed is their punishment!" That statement infuriated Yuri. "You think your father getting stabbed in the back to save my life deserves to be punished?!?" Susumu gasped. How could he make such an ignorant statement. He didn't even consider that his own dad that visited him was among those inside the spirit realm. He then sighed and got up off the bench he and his mother were sitting on"Your right... once again i've made an accusation without fully analyzing the situation" "So let me ask this question" "How would I go about saving these tortured souls and bringing them back to the human world?" Yuri's anger subsided after her son's apology. She then explained to him what must be done. "You must learn how to summon the gate" "Once you figure that out you can enter it the same way you would a room in your house" "However, entering the gate comes with a price" Susumu sighed again. <I>"Enough with the cliffhangers lady!" "Jesus christ just get to the point already "<i></i> Susumu thought to himself."You must sacrifice one of your limbs to enter" Susumu let out another strong gasp. "Once your inside you'll have to defeat Pandora" "The gates will open and the spirit realm will try to collapse on itself preventing your escape" Susumu's whole body was stunned hearing such details. "Mom... I... need to go home..." Susumu said in shock. He then turned around and proceeded to make his way back to "Gram-Grams". Yuri got off of the bench and made her way into her home as well.
