Character's Physical Description: Kenki can never seem to settle on any particular hair colour or style. One day she'll turn up with bleach blonde hair cut short, the next her hair will be black as night. Once in a while she'll even turn up with long hair (with the help of either wigs or extensions, of course). She is of average height, standing at about 5’10” and the well-trained musculature of an athlete. Her natural eye-colour is grey-green.

More often than not, she'll wear a tanktop to show off her many tattoos, covering her arms, back and legs, as well as – at least – part of her front across the collarbones. Her preferred colours are black or grey and other darks colours that won't interfere with the artwork on her body.

Tattoos:
Down her right arm are portrait tattoos of at least seven ghostly faces laughing, each one of them with distinct features of their own and all of them done in shades of grey. The sleeve on her left arm consists mainly of traditional Japanese motives such as dragons and koi fish, also done in shades of grey. Interspaced here and there are less professional tattoos, the lines shaky and incomplete, mostly names and dates. Once out of high school there weren't many options for a young woman from a working class family in Kirigakure. Either she could have joined the work force and spent her life bent over an assembly line or she could leave the village and seek fortune elsewhere. So Kenki chose to leave home and go to the outlying islands, hoping to find a better paying job there.

She landed right in the belly of the beast. While having come from a fairly rough and tumble part of town, the islands was a whole different level of tough. It took just a few days before Kenki had been mugged and lost the few credits she had, her luggage and everything else she had brought with her, left only with the clothes on her back. Help came, but from an unexpected source. After a few days of roaming the streets aimlessly, she found herself walking right into a street fight and without thinking twice, she joined the fray, having no clue as to who was fighting who or why, or even which side had the right of it, if any did. At the end, Kenki was still standing along with a couple of other fighters. With sirens approaching there was no time for introduction and the two men still standing simply dragged Kenki along with them as they fled the scene.

A few hours later, she found herself in a bar with a gang of people who were introduced to her as the Blue Dragons. There was little choice whether or not to join the gang. She might have helped two of their members, but she had gotten herself into something that couldn’t easily be gotten out of. The street fight she had joined was considered an initiation fight and she was already a member by the time it was over and she was still standing.

Kenki ran with the gang for the next three years, getting into many more street fights and eventually some rather more illegal activities, such as drug running, robbery and burglary. She was arrested for minor offences a few times, but escaped spending time in jail. It was during her time in the gang that she gained her first tattoos, now mostly buried in the rest of the ink covering her body. During her time with the gang, she began going to illegal pitfights and soon enough, she started participating too. She became famous among those following the pitfights, known for being ferocious and ruthless fighter, who never stopped until she was knocked out or had won the fight.

Eventually she scraped together enough money for her own boat and took to the seas, starting a profitable career as a privateer in the Northern Sea.
