"Wake up."
"Wake up."
"Wake up."
"Wake up."
Existence is perpetual. Of the things we see around us, nothing will ever cease to exist. Metallics, organics, inorganics, energy. It faded, it ossified, it formulated into what is and what is not, but at the end, it all really is. Wake up, Iyo Tsuki. Within his slumber he saw what could be if he chose to settle in the midst of all of this: he would gain trust, become empowered, and those around him would eventually give him everything. He'd be a king, a Kage, the master of peasants. Desolation would take hold, the throne would decay, and he'd be known as King Nothing. Sitting still never got anyone anywhere.
"Wake up."
"Wake up."
"Wake up."
A stone is not desolate. It seems desolate to us because we only see it for our lifetimes. A stone lasts far longer than we do. Than you do, rather. Tsuki sees it. I see it. I have sat down and watched my stone form, and now it fades, and tomorrow it will be gone. I will outlast it. Atomic particles, rules, laws, everything physicists think they know does not apply to me. As is existence, I am perpetual. I will watch you decay, but I refuse to do it passively. Not this time around.
I am awoken.
You will decay. Your neighbors will decay. But as a perpetual being, I have the power to accelerate either measure. I, Iyo Tsuki, have decided your fate already. If you are to be spared, you will find out, but then you will grow old and pass on. I will still be here. If you are to die, you will meet my blade, and I will still be here. And if you are to be irrelevant, you will probably never see me, for I was a ghost, and I am a ghost, and the men of this world will never know me. I have existed from its beginning, and I will exist till its end, and I will make it what it is, but it shall have no effect on me. For I am perpetual. Iyo Tsuki is perpetual. I, Iyo Tsuki, am Steadfast.

Character History:
History said:At the beginning of space and time, Tsuki contemplated whether it ought to interfere. Actually, this happened a little before that. All was still energy, and if it so chose, it could remove the quantity that would force it into material circulation out of the equation, ensuring that it would never exist to the creatures that would represent the 'species' it would at some time embody. Or at least, it thought it could. It had a memory of being able to do so. But it didn't.
It acknowledged the beginning of everything and the cascade of events it would lead to. Many celestial bodies formed, and some came to be inhabited by other entities of consciousness. They were different, though. They were things that were conscious, whereas Tsuki was simply consciousness without pivot point. One day, it knew, it would be like them. It had had the opportunity to stop it, but it hadn't. Or at least, it had the memory of being able to stop it.
That day came. On a certain planet called Ninpocho, Tsuki found a suitable carrier, and it came to her in a dream. This was the first time he allowed his consciousness to meld with another, and it found that the latter was quite simple in comparison: it needed a body to understand what Tsuki was. And so, Tsuki appeared to it as a giant white moon, a symbol of other-worldliness, purity, and magnitude. It let the consciousness know that her existence was no longer about herself, but about Tsuki. She would use her material body to give Tsuki a material body which it could use to tread across Ninpocho, and it would be hand, hammer, and justice. Although the transfer into a material body would shock its consciousness into forgetting all this, it would make sure that it'd remember by making the consciousness he currently inhabited tell ‘him’ in the future.
And so it was. Tsuki was born to parents in Sand who knew they had something different on their hands. They delivered him at their own home so nobody would know of his coming into the world. When they could, they purchased a home in the country’s outskirts far from the village's eyes, somewhere where they could take him outside and train him and nobody would know of it. Being Shinobi themselves, they taught him the way of the Ninja, perseverance, and his purpose in life. As Tsuki grew, they reminded him that he was there from the beginning, that he would be there till the end, and that it was up to him to decide right from wrong and who deserved to be altered, punished, and left alone. And when the time came, Tsuki ventured out of his parents' home to re-purpose Ninpocho, and his parents took their own lives so that there would be no trace of Iyo Tsuki that was not left by Iyo Tsuki himself.
So his legacy began.
