Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Last Known Where-abouts: I don't remember, probably in his book store.

Existence is perpetual. Of the things we see around us, nothing will ever cease to exist. Metallics, organics, inorganics, energy. It faded, it ossified, it formulated into what is and what is not, but at the end, it all really is. Wake up, Iyo Tsuki. Within his slumber he saw what could be if he chose to settle in the midst of all of this: he would gain trust, become empowered, and those around him would eventually give him everything. He'd be a king, a Kage, the master of peasants. Desolation would take hold, the throne would decay, and he'd be known as King Nothing. Sitting still never got anyone anywhere.

"Wake up."
"Wake up."
"Wake up."

A stone is not desolate. It seems desolate to us because we only see it for our lifetimes. A stone lasts far longer than we do. Than you do, rather. Tsuki sees it. I see it. I have sat down and watched my stone form, and now it fades, and tomorrow it will be gone. I will outlast it. Atomic particles, rules, laws, everything physicists think they know does not apply to me. As is existence, I am perpetual. I will watch you decay, but I refuse to do it passively. Not this time around.

I am awoken.

You will decay. Your neighbors will decay. But as a perpetual being, I have the power to accelerate either measure. I, Iyo Tsuki, have decided your fate already. If you are to be spared, you will find out, but then you will grow old and pass on. I will still be here. If you are to die, you will meet my blade, and I will still be here. And if you are to be irrelevant, you will probably never see me, for I was a ghost, and I am a ghost, and the men of this world will never know me. I have existed from its beginning, and I will exist till its end, and I will make it what it is, but it shall have no effect on me. For I am perpetual. Iyo Tsuki is perpetual. I, Iyo Tsuki, am Steadfast.

Custom Class: If it's not a problem with you guys, I'll do this later. If you have to, start me off with the Rookie class.

Main Branch/ANBU/Med-Nin: Main branch.

Character Age: 22
Character Gender:Male

Character's Physical Description: Tsuki stands at six feet. He's got silver hair that's slicked back, red eyes, and pale skin. He's well built for combat, and his stature insinuates that he can both take and deliver a hit. In a word, he's intimidating.

Character's Mental Description: He's normal and about as smart as I am. That being said, he's got delusions about the way the world works because of his inordinate upbringing and his parents' belief that they had a prophet on their hands.

Character History:
History said:
At the beginning of space and time, Tsuki contemplated whether it ought to interfere. Actually, this happened a little before that. All was still energy, and if it so chose, it could remove the quantity that would force it into material circulation out of the equation, ensuring that it would never exist to the creatures that would represent the 'species' it would at some time embody. Or at least, it thought it could. It had a memory of being able to do so. But it didn't.

It acknowledged the beginning of everything and the cascade of events it would lead to. Many celestial bodies formed, and some came to be inhabited by other entities of consciousness. They were different, though. They were things that were conscious, whereas Tsuki was simply consciousness without pivot point. One day, it knew, it would be like them. It had had the opportunity to stop it, but it hadn't. Or at least, it had the memory of being able to stop it.

That day came. On a certain planet called Ninpocho, Tsuki found a suitable carrier, and it came to her in a dream. This was the first time he allowed his consciousness to meld with another, and it found that the latter was quite simple in comparison: it needed a body to understand what Tsuki was. And so, Tsuki appeared to it as a giant white moon, a symbol of other-worldliness, purity, and magnitude. It let the consciousness know that her existence was no longer about herself, but about Tsuki. She would use her material body to give Tsuki a material body which it could use to tread across Ninpocho, and it would be hand, hammer, and justice. Although the transfer into a material body would shock its consciousness into forgetting all this, it would make sure that it'd remember by making the consciousness he currently inhabited tell ‘him’ in the future.

And so it was. Tsuki was born to parents in Sand who knew they had something different on their hands. They delivered him at their own home so nobody would know of his coming into the world. When they could, they purchased a home in the country’s outskirts far from the village's eyes, somewhere where they could take him outside and train him and nobody would know of it. Being Shinobi themselves, they taught him the way of the Ninja, perseverance, and his purpose in life. As Tsuki grew, they reminded him that he was there from the beginning, that he would be there till the end, and that it was up to him to decide right from wrong and who deserved to be altered, punished, and left alone. And when the time came, Tsuki ventured out of his parents' home to re-purpose Ninpocho, and his parents took their own lives so that there would be no trace of Iyo Tsuki that was not left by Iyo Tsuki himself.

So his legacy began.

About the time and memorial part.
I'm gonna deny this on behalf of Plot. Your character cannot be a spirit that was there for the beginning of time.
Your character also treads on the "planet of Ninpocho". This is not the name of the planet the game takes place. There is currently no name for the planet. And Ninpocho is not the name of this planet.
So on Plot's end.. I have to deny this.

Please don't post ridiculous GIFs. I'm trying to be serious here.

If the planet has no name, is there any harm in arbitrarily assigning it the name Ninpocho? Would replacing it with the name Bilzerian or something help? I just want a name to have in there, it's mostly my character imagining things.

I added the "At least he thought he was" parts to make it clear that there is a distinct possibility that my character is just delusional. To him, he's a spirit from the beginning of time. To you he can just be cray-cray in that regards.

We cool?

The gif is because this is literally a copy-paste of your Sand OCR.
To the point your history has no mention of anywhere except Sunagakure, and the village is listed as Sand.

Please actually be serious and put some effort into things or I'm going to assume you're trolling again.

Cmon Tsuki, you know better.

New Village: not this forum.
History: Not approved, even if it is a delusion you've not explained when or how your character became delusional or anything which isn't a delusion, which means you've literally described about 20 seconds worth of history and we don't allow newborns.
Physical Description: Will need Suna's approval, though strange that he's spent more time in the desert than in Suna and no mention of his spending any time in Cloud. So... probably denied even if Suna approve.
Mental Description: Would be approved... if it weren't for the delusions of grandeur you're trying to excuse the history as.

BL/CA: Can't be approved based on that roleplay.

Custom Class can be done later.
Main Branch Approved but at what rank?

Age: is important
Gender: is important, based on your referring to the character in the physical description as male we'll go with Male.

If I knew anything, I wouldn't be force retired right now and we wouldn't be going through this. Please treat me as oblivious, because that's how I feel.

Okay, let's see...

Age: If you insist, let's go with 22.
Gender: I'd you insist, let's go with male.

Character description: so sorry about that. I figured only my history would mention anything Sand related so I only edited that. I didn't really re-read my character description. I'll fix that ASAP.

I'll see if there's anything else I need to change after I fix these.

Okay. Added an age, gender, changed the Suna bits to reflect Kumo, and modified his mental description to add the fact that the world is going to think he's delusional because of his upbringing. He does not have a mental disorder, he just isn't in line with how things are.

For Main Branch, there is Genin, Chuunin, and Jounin. They haven't changed. Please choose one, because it honestly doesn't affect your character much.

Your history still mentions Sand, and not a single thing mentions Cloud. Please update this, and please do not edit your first post. Respond with your new history below.

Ugh, this is going to take some getting used to, sorry again. I'm on a computer this time. I think I've removed the word Sand from everywhere it was used.

For rank... Chuunin...? Jounin...? I mean if it's no different to you, I guess I'll go with Jounin because that's higher, right?

History veto'd by an admin.
Your history cannot be being born at the beginning of time.
If this is a delusion, then explain his REAL history somewhere.
If you wish me to take this to the rest of the admin team I can.

I approved this based on the combination of:
Character's Mental Description: He's normal and about as smart as I am. That being said, he's got delusions about the way the world works because of his inordinate upbringing and his parents' belief that they had a prophet on their hands.

and
And so it was. Tsuki was born to parents in Cloud who knew they had something different on their hands.

The first makes it known that he's been taught the part which admin is having issues with as a delusion, though this isn't quite accurate... it's his history as according to what he's been taught. It's not a delusion at all, he believes it to be real because that's all he knows.

The second part is the characters actual history. That he would have been kept away from the rest of the world means that there's very little else that he needs to put in as a history as his history interacting with anyone apart from his parents is about to begin. The first part fairly well outlining what is missing in his mental history as well.

Perhaps what admin need is a heading saying "what he was taught as his history" and then another heading before the quoted paragraph saying "actual history"?

His entering into Cloud from his parents home would mean that he would become known to Cloud. He was trained as a shinobi by his parents so ergo he is a shinobi.

Would you like him to add an extra paragraph saying effectively:

"Once he entered Cloud it didn't take long for the authorities to be made aware of his presence. He was taken for questioning and although nothing seemed mentally unstable, at the same time the answers given were not standard. Despite this he was tested for his ability with chakra and granted the rank of Genin due to being too advanced for a student but his knowledge of the world too little for anything higher."

This would explain his rank being Genin and how he is an official Cloud shinobi.

However I do see your issue currently with his being a member of Cloud when in actuality this would make more sense as a Mercenary application.

Edit: This was in reply to a post which has been deleted, though it made sense and so I'm not sure why it was deleted. Please note admin that I'm not trying to be argumentative, but simply trying to help Tsuki figure out what else he needs to include to make his character legitimate. Something I believe is my job as a member of a council.
