Oh the irony~
Here he was, Inuzuka Gekido, former traitor missing nin, sitting in a chair with an apple in his hand in the middle of the gates. Not on top of the gates either. He was smack dab right in the middle of the massive entrance with Judo, his ninken, at his side. What was he doing there? Intimidation of course. If a massive dog at his side with jowls that could rip a mans leg off wasn't scary enough, Gekido was using just his nail to peel the apple slowly. He was sitting there for one purpose: to deter people. He was not checking passports and taking his eyes off the others, he was watching them all. Of course his mind wandered aimlessly. Thoughts of Katsuo, Senka, Souseiki, and those wide open gates. Oh the blasphemous thoughts...
There was no doubt that probably half of the gate guards were not there to actually guard the gate. They were simply there to watch this liability known as Gekido. Of course, after a quick look around, he saw seventeen weaknesses in their positions that he could exploit before the true fighting would begin. But would he have even taken that chance? Maybe seven years ago when there wasn't something keeping him here. If he even tried to walk out, no doubt Souseiki had his eyes watching ready to go terminate his wife and kids-- probably the entire Inuzuka clan. "Bastard..." he thought.
Just then, a scuffle seemed to stir up. Gekido's solitary eye looked over to the sound of rustling bodies to find a man trying to keep one of the other guards from opening up a canister. "Smuggler probably." Gekido voiced. Judo grunted in agreement and the former captain returned to his apple. By now, he was cutting specific chunks out of the meaty part of the apple. Small triangles that would be popped into his mouth and regular intervals as his eye scanned the area. Just then, a loud exclamation! It came from one of the guards with the struggling man. It would seem that the container was opened...to find nothing. At this point Gekido realized what was going on. "Judo be aware, it was a distraction!" he said short and quick. In the strain of a few seconds, his chakra changed and Judo looked at him in alarm. "I need to..." he cursed and it was like something turned on...a powerful surge of chakra.
Seconds later the target was identified with precision and Gekido stood. The man didn't seem to be any threat chakra wise, so why waste the energy to take him down that way. Gekido tossed the half eaten apple into the air once, looked at the man with a smile, and then threw it faster than any apple should be thrown. The fruit twirled through the air, juice flying all sorts of ways as it descended and hit one of the mans temples. Knocked over by the precision of the force, he quickly fell to his knees to attempt to regain his senses... It was at this point Gekido wondered if he needed to apprehend him, or if another guard would be up to the task....
