Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The night began to creep over the horizon. The miles of clouds turned into vibrant red and pinks until the light began to shine brightly through the moon. Another day alive and another night to bask in. The starry night touched her heart, especially with the twinkle of starlight however this night… The clouds were in her favor.

The doorway to the gate office opened with a gentle push. A petite woman with a black cloaked shrouded around her entered and to no surprise the place had been silent for many hours. ‘Red hues peered through a gold mask, sporadically looking in all directions while she moved towards the desk. Merchants and traders had caught the tail wind of the final hours of daylight for the place to be empty. She stopped before the desk, fixated on the brass bell in the center. With a gentle press a single chime rang out through the halls to alert someone to assist them. Her red hues cut back towards the entrance. ‘Just where is Yuna at?’

Yuna had a mask an attire that would hide her identity, yes, even her purple hair. The mask itself had hair that was already outfitted onto it. Her real hair was tucked away behind her head inside of the mask. She approached her Sennin as she studied the area. Standing beside her, she leaned in and spoke in a hushed whisper. "I might have an inkling on who is behind this. But here might not be the best place to tell you as there might be eyes or ears that work for them. Once we get out and into the Country, but not at our target destination, where we won't have eavesdroppers."

Gate duty was boring. Shinjo had little idea just how boring it was to sit around and watch a large structure that usually saw heavy merchant traffic, but little else. He was an assassin built for action or meditation; no real in between. Paperwork made his brain fuzzy. The privileged attitude towards the time it took him to read over all the documents needed to get into the village, especially since the recent gate attack, turned what was normally a ten-to-fifteen minute venture for most merchants a full blown hour. With Shinjo, a little longer. It had gotten to a point that the normal gate guard vets ushered him to watch over the front entrance that high ranking shinobi used to expedite their entry and exit; though even that had slowed down.

Standing as opposed to what was recommended, which was sitting in what looked like an overly comfortable chair, Shin stood vigilant with his arm in a sling to watch for whomever might cross by…only for there to be not a soul. A lone hawk cried out in the distance and the older teen let out a long sigh before his attention was immediately caught by the sound of a door opening. With the time of day, he though his relief was here and his day of torture was over. Instead, appeared the woman who haunted most of his nightmares wearing a mask he didn’t often get to see. Shortly following her was another full fledged ANBU member.

No words needed to be exchanged. Shinjo knew the ANBU Sennin on sight and whatever reason she was leaving the village was likely above his pay-grade.

The Sennin waited only moments before a gentleman she knew and mentored made an appearance. A smile crept across her lips behind that golden mask. Just at the mere sight of her, the young apprentice, Shinjo, would tense up right before her eyes. He hadn’t even spoken a word to her. How rude! Shinjo must’ve understood the importance of her presence and will to leave without delay. ‘Smart boy.’ Her mask whispered into her neural network. Miro cocked her head to the side. Yuna finally approached, handing off a tidbit of information of who or what is the mastermind behind this charade. ‘She is definitely Ziren’s daughter. A whole lot of talk.’

A few names popped into her head but those names resided in the dunes of Sand. They needed to pay for their crimes at the gates. The one, Kiko, had blood to pay for. The list of tasks Miro laid out for the other nations dragged on for days. First on the list those selfish bastards of Konohagakure. They had hell to pay for; despite the Raikage’s wishes, the Sennin had a few more choice expletives she wanted to give the Hokage.

Hastily she and her subordinate were given access to leave the village. Happily the Sennin turned around towards her subordinate and the door. A beckoning hand motioned Yuna to follow her where they made their leave for new lands.
