Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kyojin took one last look at the eerily still village of Kirigakure and felt a sense of guilt carried for years dissolve. When he was Sennin, he did his best to evacuate the village. There were, nonetheless, deaths. People he could not get into in time or were simply unlucky died tragic, painful deaths. If one were to enter the ruined village of Kirigakure, they may see frozen scenes that attest to what Kyojin saw. These things happen. But still when he and his clansmen got the idea to awaken the nearby volcano, it seemed like a faint glimmer of hope, some kind of atonement. The Namazu clan seized that chance and tried using their powers to call earthquakes to shake awake the dormant volcano. A group of five men were sent to be led by Kyojin. However, before the group even reached their destination, the whole of them, except Kyojin, froze to death. Somehow, thanks to the awakening of an ancestral power, Kyojin found himself in Fire Country raked with guilt. He survived and his clansmen did not. The rest had been led away to Earth country by a cousin of his but he thought he could not bear to face the five men's family. He survived and his clansmen did not. Ashamed at that realization, he became a mercenary and adopted the name Araya Akaya. He ran. Even then it took years for him to finally face his guilt and come here. To see what became of his homeland. Once he did, he began to accept and understood that there was nothing anybody could have done. Mist was doomed from the start. This was a land no longer habitable for the race of Man. Now it was time for him to be among his clan once more.

Kyojin trekked across the barren tundra northward. He figured that only about an hour and a half had passed. There was still plenty of time to reach the rendezvous spot where the Serendipity awaited. Once there, the ship will take him to Iron and the Namazu giant shall journey to Earth.

Now Kyojin was at the edge of the tundra, slowly walking on the water where he could see the ship in the distance. A few minutes of running should see him upon it.

The captain waited anxiously for the strange giant to return. After he had left, she took her ship to a port in Fire country to quickly re-supply. Her first mate, at that moment, dropped the possibility of running away now. They had their pay. These frozen lands were treacherous, dangerous and cursed. Odds were that their customer would be buried beneath these frozen shadows. But the woman refused. Though it was an easy thing to do, it was not right. She, as a woman, had done many things in her life to get far: lie, cheat and steal but she also thought trying to rip off Akaya meant signing her death warrant. When she saw him approaching, it was then she knew it was a wise decision not to have abandoned the giant.

When he got on the deck of the ship, he bowed to the captain and gave her another bag of precious gems, grateful. "A bonus for willing to take me to Iron."

The captain smiled and asked her first mate to take the wheel. She then turned to Akaya, "Why don't you come to my cabin? Let us have a nice talk over wine."

Kyojin agreed, thinking it rude not to. He wanted out of this godforsaken cold. Wine would warm him up nicely too.

Wine also led to other things.
