Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Onyx Guard
ANBU trained in the art of shielding and defensive tactics have developed methods to allow those under their protection escape a conflict at the sacrifice of their own welfare.

Information:
Prerequisites: C-Rank

Effect:
  • When in a topic the Onyx Guard may "Block" someone who attempts to prevent another shinboi from leaving a topic. In doing so, the leaving shinobi may continue to leave normally as if not interrupted, but the Onyx Guard must remain behind. The Onyx Guard is able to "Block" a single person at a time.
  • When in battle, the Onyx Guard may reflexively choose to take the full damage of an attack that would have hit another target, once per round.

Notes:
  • When taking an attack, the Onyx Guard only takes the damage not the original target. The attack is still rolled but it is against the Onyx Guard instead of the original target.
  • Only the Onyx Guard's DR applies to the damage that they take.
  • Missing Nin can also take this ability.
  • Does not work against Genjutsu
  • The Onyx Guard needs to be aware of the attack
