History: At an early age, she lost her parents. In fact, she has no memory of her mother and father whatsoever.
Her parents were a humble couple, married happily and living a quiet life in the Village of Konohagakure. Unlike her grandfather on her mother’s side, neither were shinobi of the village at any point. They did what they could to get by, and were always a fun loving couple.
When Miu was only two, a mysterious fire was set; sending spiraling embers throughout the small, wooden building. It was in an older section of the leaf village, and a much less modern version of what she knows as a young preteenager today. The foundation crumbled and cracked with her parents inside, crushing them to the point of suffocation. The fire was stopped, but they were both pronounced dead shortly after.
Now Miu. Luckily, the young child had spent the day with her grandmother, and was staying until early the next morning. From that day, she remained with her grandmother, happy and content. She was to young to understand what had happened to her parents. Now att times, it saddened her. Her grandmother was the only family she had. During the time she should have been retired, she was instead working to support the two of them.
Since the time Miu had began to walk, she had always had problems with her vision. It was not until she started running in to things left and right, that the problem was at last diagnosed. She was given glasses to wear at all times, but of course, she fought it every chance she got. She became accustomed to life without that 20/20 vision most her age had. In fact, she had no problems at all doing her day-to-day routine. One day, she brought up the idea of enrolling in the training academy to her grandmother. The elderly woman was hesitant, but at last agreed. "As long as you wear your glasses." Miu has worn her glasses almost every day since than.
