The evening was cool and pleasant and the higher ranking millpol officers garrisoned in the township of Yomayama were just out having a drink in a restaurant just across the street from the barracks.

"Oy Shinji!, what are you doing outside mate! everyone is heaving a blast inside!'

Said Keegen as he stumbled out the door to the balcony of the second floor. Shinji was looking to the other side of the street at the silent barracks where the sum of thirty men were ether working overtime, sleeping, or playing cards with each other. It took him a moment to realize that his comrade was addressing him and he turned his head to Keegen that was now leaning on the rail same as he did looking at him with a foggy tipsy sarcastic expression of disappointment.

"whats going on Shinji?, you spent the whole evening out here on the balcony smoking your bloody cigarets... tell me what is going on with you my friend"

Said Keegen with a concerned voice. Shinji just took another drag and looked over once more to the calm barracks.

"its...heh...its nothing just a bad feeling about this occupation thing we are doing here that's all..."

Said Shinji reluctantly and shrugged his shoulder. Keegen's expression became warmer and he smiled and looked at the sky.

"its for the good of these people, we will leave this place in a few months and they will be happier and they will thank us"

Said Keegen his honest thoughts.

"I don't know man... I mean, you have seen the way the people here look at us when we patrol the streets, they hate us and they want us gone... and it gives me a bad feeling.."

Replied the other, his heart weighs heavy on him. Shinji never liked harming pedestrians, even when they were trying to harm him.

"stop worrying like a new mother will ya', I am telling you everything is going to be just f..."

Suddenly in front of them the Barracks blew up, sending them both flying backwards to the ground. The air was kicked out of them from the sheer force of the explosion.
Shinji stumbled back to his feet and looked at the blazing building in front of him.

"...fuck me!.. what in the bloody hell?!.."

Said Keegen as he got up as well coughing, then he saw the wreckage as well.

"good gods...'

were the only words he said afterwards, then they both saw it. From behind the ruined building came running a hoard of men, women and teen. All wielding spears sticks daggers and some even had swords.

"shit...Keegen its a rebellion!!, we need to get out of here! come on!!"

Yelled out Shinji and grabbed his frozen comrade, they needed to barricade themselves somewhere and call for help... they need to run.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------a week later---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Within the woods outside the township of Yomayama a man was lurking, watching the township with eyes concealed by a mask. It was the middle of the night and Nao had just arrived to Yomayama after receiving a mission to find the remaining Millpol officers who sent a distress message back to the village of stone, after he found them he was to take care of the situation and extract them safely back home. In their message they stated they are hiding in an abandoned mine on the north-western side of town.

'they couldn't have picked a better spot to hide couldn't they...'

Thought the masked man sarcastically, since the entrance to the mine was a dead end and they would need to cross the whole hell of a town to extract them safely.
It was going to be a hassle to complete the mission, especially when the parameters to evade harming civilians and trying to find the leaders of this futile revolt and dispose of them to end this royal mess.

And so in the shadows of the night he moved out, speeding from shadow to shadow, ruining on the buildings to evade detection by the so called freedom fighters. At some point he stopped on the roof of a building in front a colossal destruction of what was once the barracks of the occupying Millpol force, so many died here in vain, if only they were wiser and had ruled here with marshal law this whole calamity could have been evaded.

After a few minutes he was at the entrance of the mine the remaining Millpol force were holding up in, he stood there for a moment in his black garb sensing the people inside. They weren't many, six to be exact and they weren't yet aware of his presence. He had a bag full of civilian clothing hanging over his shoulder, part of his plan. Within a few minutes he silently sneaked inside and got a visual on the survivors, he remained unseen looking at them, observing the situation in the small cave.

Two officers wounded, one had just a few cuts and bruises, the other was stabbed through the shoulder and lost much blood. Other then them there was a junior soldier as well, he was shook up well, and there were two other senior officers. The two senior officers were clearly interrogating a man tied to a wooden pillar, yet they didn't harm him at all, they just talked to him.

"it won't help much if you don't lay a finger on him..."

Said Loky as he stepped out of the shadows, he lay the bag of clothes to the side as he took his stand in front of them. All of them were startled when he appeared, the Millpol took a defensive stance, ready to give a fight.

"who the hell are you.... ANBU?"

Said one of the higher ranking officers, clearly the man in charge here.

"all you need to know is that I am your backup, I am here to take care of the situation and get you out, and as long as you do exactly what I tell you when I tell you then we all will be back home for lunch tomorrow"

He replied to the men in the small cave.

"they sent only one man to help us, that just shows you how much they actually care about us"

Said another of the men.

"they don't... my main objective is to take care of the man responsible for the uprising getting you out is my last concern, now you all take the civilian clothing in the bag I have placed there and get dressed, I will talk to our little friend here"

He said coldly yet truthfully, and he received little argument from them, they must have sensed that he is not such a pleasant man to talk to. The soldiers went to change their clothes, and Nao just sat in front of the captured man, he didn't speak a word, he just pulled some fast hand seals and sent the mans consciousness to another place, a place created from nightmares. He only then interrogated the man, it didn't take long before he received the location of the man responsible and his name. The interrogated man passed out from screaming in horror and pain and Nao got up and faced the now civil dressed men.

"what the hell did you do to him?!"

Said the man in charge, clearly alarmed by Nao's performance.

"I have done what you should have done from the very moment you captured the man, get him to talk by all means necessary you would do well to remember that for the next time if there will be one!...now take this map and go to the marked location, take back streets and evade contact with rebels I will meet you there as soon as I have killed the leader of the revolt"

He said and handed them the map. The other officer now spoke, breaking the silence.

"who is the one responsible for this?"

He asked timidly. Nao just turned to the exit and while they all walked out he explained, he saw no harm in telling them.

"the man's name is Lei, a rouge-nin who has been giving the rebels active explosive tags to use against you...well... I assume you have already seen his handwork on your barracks, never the less I will take care of him and meet you at the rendezvous, If I am not there by dawn make your way back to the village"

He said and they were all out in the night sky, he then just gave them a nod and vanished to his main objective. And the small company of men started making their way through the city.

I was only a short while until he reached the rouge-nin's hideout in the city slums where it all began, he moved quick and unseen as always. He entered the building where the man was hiding out and took out the guards with haste. He didn't have much time so he needed to take care of this Lei fellow as fast as possible and get back to the group.
Nao busted into a large room where he finally met the rouge-nin. The rouge-nin stood up fast and was on guard.

WOW!...who in the name of...OH! I see, an ANBU operative from stone... they finally send someone with actual skill to take me on ey?, well let me worn you lad...you are not the first ANBU I have crossed paths with! and you won..

"oh shut up!"

Interrupted Nao and flashed hand seals as fast as lightning. He didn't have the time nor the patience to listen to this man talk all night. But it mattered not, because the man was under his illusion before he could even react. The rouge-nin froze in place unable to even scream in pain but Nao saw it in his eyes, they were rolling upwards in an unimaginable torture, and the ANBU sensed his life force slowly fade, until it was no more. Not many could withstand his Genjutsu, his training as brutal as it was it made him an effective weapon against most, but he still needed to grow stronger. Nao canceled his jutsu and the man dropped to the ground, dead.

A while after Loky reached the waiting men at the meeting point just as the sun came up. He had no intention to strike conversation about his assignment or the situation they were leaving behind so he just motioned them to follow without a word, and refused to speak for the remainder of the journey.

When they reached the village area he stopped and gave them the go ahead to continue, he would not enter the village through the front gates as he was ordered. But before they departed the commanding officer turned to him.

"I know you can't tell me your real name, but what should we call you? for the report that is.."

Asked the man with fake conviction, Nao didn't mind the question he expected as much and it was only natural for them to ask, so he gave them the only name he could.

"my name is Loky"
