Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Oshiro, Takeshi
Age: 12
Gender: Male

Personality:
Takeshi is still a child, content and care-free. While he is capable of being serious should a situation demand it, for the most part he isn’t. He enjoys simple things; sweets, a fun new game, warm sunny days, and is no hurry to grow up. Much to his family’s disappointment he isn’t ambitious, or particularly driven in any way. He would rather play than train and is more than happy to do absolutely nothing at all.

Takeshi is something of a pacifist, preferring to avoid conflict and troublesome situations when he can. When dealing with someone he doesn’t get along with, he is more likely to keep his thoughts to himself and simply stay away from that person in the future, rather than become openly angry or hostile. Although he’d never admit this, he likes to quote adages his grandfather is always drilling into his head; “live and let live,” “don’t worry about what you can’t control” and “the best fight is the one you avoid” being among his favorites.

Appearance:
You know that awkward, slightly painful phase in puberty, when the body finally decides it is time to fully mature? Takeshi is smack in the middle of that. He has the ungainly look of someone who has grown several inches in the last few months and has yet to fully regain his bearings. His frame, which was once small and slightly roundish, has shed the last remnants of baby fat and proceeded to shoot straight upwards, determined to stretch as little skin over as much bone as possible. He currently stands at 5’2” and weighs approximately 90 lbs. He has dark colored hair and eyes.

Takeshi keeps his hair cut short, in a blatant refusal to ever wear the ludicrous top knot his family custom demands. He prefers to wear simple clothing (shirts, pants, and closed-toe boots) over the more cumbersome traditional garb which he tends to trip over. In terms of gear, there is hardly any visible on his person. Takeshi likes pockets -of which he has many- more than the conventional kunai holsters and belt pouches. Takeshi wears his forehead protector tied loosely around his neck. It is clearly visible from the front, makes for an excellent neck warmer, and for the most part stays out of the way. However, if Takeshi comes to an abrupt stop while running very very fast, it will occasionally swing up and playfully smack him in the face.

History:
The Oshiro family comes from a long line of shinobi, thus it is only natural that Takeshi follow the footsteps of his fore fathers. Takeshi does not remember his parents: His mother died in child birth, and his father soon thereafter. Takeshi's father was actually an embarrassment to the family. From what Takeshi gathered Oshiro Sato had been a terrible student as a child, and failed the Chuunin exam three times before finally managing to scrape through. At the scandalously young age of 17, he had run off with some girl -an outsider no less- and sired a child. To top it all off, Sato then went ahead and got himself killed, leaving the Oshiro family to cover up the mess he'd made. The elders seldom speak of Takeshi's father, and if they do, it is always in hushed voices accompanied by reproachful looks. There had even been some debate about what to do with the child Sato had left behind. After all, as far some family members were concerned, Takeshi was nothing more than an illegitimate bastard.

Luckily for Takeshi, his grandfather (Sato's father) declared that he would personally take responsibility for the child. Oshiro Mori had been an infamous shinobi in his youth, and even in retirement, still demanded much respect from the rest of the family. So although there was still much grumbling within the clan, the matter had been settled. Ever since birth, Takeshi had two great shadows cast over him. The first from his father, who had brought shame and dishonor, leaving a mark Takeshi would have to live with for the rest of his life. And the second from his esteemed grandfather, who set upon him an expectation he could only hope to live up to.
