Physical Description: Haji has six arms, the trait that Hachiashi are most noted for. Being 6’2 and at a lean 165 pounds (not counting his extra arms), Haji has something of a beanpole frame. He has dark brown hair pulled back into a high ponytail, and a thick unkempt beard. Haji has a broad smile, and he is missing his right maxillary cuspid. If his hands are looked at closely each of his knuckles is heavily calloused, and he is missing his ring finger as well as his pinky on his right bottommost hand.
Mental Description: Haji is a very carefree guy. Sometimes he can be a bit overbearing when it comes to making new friends, but mentally he is healthy.
History: Haji has always been the outdoorsy type. As a boy he would climb trees high in the mountains of cloud. Haji’s parents weren’t ever concerned for his safety however; they weren’t concerned with him at all. Haji was born a bastard and has never met his father, and his mother died during childbirth. His grandfather suggested that he be abandoned as an orphan, but Haji’s uncle begged for them to raise Haji in remembrance of his mother. Thus he was given his namesake “Haji” which means “Shame”. But if the name bothered Haji, he never let it show; he was one of the most carefree children ever to roam the mountains of cloud. He was mainly raised by his aunt and uncle, they had a child of their own who is two years older than Haji: Ahiru. Ahiru (which means duck) was just a nickname that Haji had given his cousin, but it had stuck much to Ahiru’s chagrin. This was mainly because of a time when they had gone swimming in a mountain lake and Ahiru had nearly drowned before Haji dragged him out by his feet which gave the comedic visual of an upended duck in the water. Most things came naturally to Haji: climbing, swimming, making friends, even his training at the academy. But Haji was a free spirit so often his grades would suffer because he would be absent simply because he became distracted by something far more interesting on his way to school. Haji met his first challenge when he finally graduated the academy as he was scouted for the AIT program of cloud. Despite Haji’s best efforts to seem nonchalant and disinterested in the classes goings on, his sensei had noticed great potential. Once Haji began in the AIT program his training became strict; no adventures were tolerated, which he found out the hard way. Haji worked hard though, seeking to find the positive in the situation and finding a true passion in the honing of his ninja arts. He realized early in his carrier that the more powerful he became; the more freedom he could garner for himself. Now Haji has become a formidable shinobi for the ANBU corps, and he works hard every day to further his strength and forge his way in the violent world of shinobi.
Bloodline/Core Ability Application:
Haji realized his Hachiashi blood when he turned twelve and awoke to find his extra arms had “sprouted” from his torso one day. Despite knowing that this could be a possibility since his mother was of the Hachiashi bloodline, he began to scream in horror until his aunt and uncle finally reassured him that “no more were going to pop out of anywhere else”. Despite his initial reaction Haji became enamored with his new arms. Once they fully developed Haji was able to climb better, fight better, and he got really good at multi-tasking. As Haji grew into a man his other blood traits began to develop along with his new arms. Through the instruction of his uncle, who also shared the Hachiashi traits, Haji began to hone his newly discovered bodily skills. Webbing that could be pumped full of chakra to give it unimaginable strength, while also being malleable, or the ability to create a chitinous armor through the use of a mucus secreted through his pores. When he was 15, Haji made his way into the forest with the mission of acquainting himself with the ancient allies of the Hachiashi bloodline. He was not seen for 3 days, and his grandfather thought they might finally be rid of their family “Shame” but Haji emerged with a wide grin on his face and a bandage around his bottommost right hand. He told great tales of his victory to his family, finally understanding ancient arts that his blood made him privy to.
